Kranos scratched his nose awkwardly. He wasn't gifted in the study of alchemy at all; he was merely taking advantage of his unique time ability to hasten his progress. Of course, the elder didn't know this, and Kranos wouldn't tell him either.
"Thank you, Elder," Kranos said politely, then his eyes subtly flickered towards the thick book. The elder quickly understood what he meant and advised,
"Yes, go back to studying the book. As soon as you are done, we can begin studying the process of creating pills."
Kranos nodded at the elder's words, then his attention returned to the book before him. Before long, the sound of pages flapping resounded once again in the hall. The elder turned to look at his disciple, his face still holding a smile he couldn't restrain.
