Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Uchiha Interest Alliance Plan – The Ino–Shika–Cho Trio

"Good, that puts me at ease," Ren Takashi said with a satisfied nod. "Now let's talk about the Uchiha Interest Alliance Plan."

"This plan ties directly into my broader vision for the clan's external strategy."

"The core idea is to use commercial initiatives to gradually pull other ninja clans into a shared industrial network. Through mutual investment, we'll form a coalition of interests."

"If we can bring enough clans into this alliance, we can change the narrative around the Uchiha — not just in Konoha, but across the entire shinobi world."

"With enough partners and influence, even the position of Hokage would be within our reach. At that point, any suppression or scheming from the Third Hokage's faction becomes irrelevant. In fact, we could even turn the tables."

As a great figure once said: "Make more friends, fewer enemies." That's the true path forward.

"An interest-based alliance?" Uchiha Nobuhiko raised an eyebrow. He was intrigued but skeptical. "Sounds great in theory. But getting other clans to side with us is a whole different matter."

"We've tried this before, and every attempt failed. The Third Hokage's people wouldn't sit idly by and watch such a coalition form."

"Besides, our current commercial holdings are barely enough to sustain the clan. We don't have anything left to share, and our people wouldn't agree to give up what little we have."

"You misunderstood," Ren Takashi chuckled. "I'm not proposing to use our existing resources. I plan to build entirely new industries — ones designed from the ground up for collaboration."

"I won't ask the clan to make the initial approach either. That's too risky and would alert the Third's faction."

"My idea is to use my upcoming time at the ninja academy. Once I've made friends with children from other clans, I'll rope a few of them into starting a business project — something simple on the surface, but scalable."

"To the adults, it'll just look like kids playing at being entrepreneurs."

"But once we start making real money, their clans will notice — and by then, the profits will be too good to walk away from."

"This effort will run alongside my plan to become Tsunade-sama's student. Once I'm her disciple — a member of the Senju and Fire Shadow's inner circle — neither the Third nor those clans will have a good reason to oppose it."

Uchiha Nobuhiko's eyes gleamed. "So you'll use your classmates as the entry point? That's clever. What kind of project are you planning? And who are you thinking of recruiting?"

Ren smiled. "What do you think of the Ino–Shika–Cho trio?"

"I've looked into it — the new heirs of the Yamanaka, Nara, and Akimichi clans are all around my age. They're likely to be placed in my class."

Nobuhiko gasped. "The Ino–Shika–Cho trio?! They're die-hard loyalists to the Hokage — lifelong allies of the Third. That's suicide!"

"If you can pull that off, though... that'd be incredible."

Ren shrugged with a sly grin. "Once I become Tsunade's student, I'll also be a Fire Shadow insider — and even the Third's own disciple's grandchild."

"Besides, their parents don't have to know — at least, not at first. The kids will think it's just fun and games."

"By the time it turns serious, their clans won't want to give up the benefits."

"And when I prove it works — when I pull in those three clans — I'll need your full support to expand the rest of the alliance."

Nobuhiko stared at his son for a long moment. "This... doesn't seem a little underhanded to you?"

Ren frowned. "How is it underhanded when everyone profits? I'm not scamming them. I'm building something beneficial. One day, they might even thank me."

"Fine, fine," Nobuhiko chuckled, shaking his head. "Do what you want. I'll focus on pushing the police force reform and spreading your genius reputation like you asked."

He knew the reforms Ren had proposed weren't simple. First, he'd need to rally his supporters. Then, slowly persuade the rest of the clan.

If it succeeded — Uchiha's future would be transformed.

"Alright then," Ren nodded. "I'll go back to training now."

He left the study and returned to his room, diving into his chakra cultivation. At this stage, he was still using the Perfect Chakra Refinement Method, not yet the advanced Chakra Circulatory Flow Technique, because he hadn't completed unlocking all his energy pathways.

Once his entire body's chakra potential had been fully tapped, he'd switch to the next stage.

After an hour of cultivation, his meridians were throbbing from strain.

"As I thought... not durable enough yet."

Still, that was the cost of refining chakra five times faster than a normal ninja. After loosening up his limbs, Ren began the next phase: Opening the Sharingan.

This method combined bloodline purification and mental training. As he honed his Uchiha lineage, the meditation also replenished his mental strength.

An hour later, he emerged and transitioned into his body-training martial arts practice — a blend of taijutsu and internal energy control.

After lunch, he trained with his mother in medical ninjutsu, studied anatomical scrolls, practiced hand seals, and sharpened his throwing weapon technique — a full schedule, each part building toward his larger plan.
