Chapter 6 - Settling the Score.Reclaiming Dignity

**An eye for an eye, a debt for a debt.**

Zhou Yang only wanted revenge against Li Qiang. As for the other members of the Martial Arts Club, they had no deep-seated grudge with him, so he couldn't be bothered with them. After all, he was now an **eighth-level Qi Refiner**—why would he stoop to dealing with students who were, at best, **first-level Qi Refiners**?

He glanced at the kneeling students and said indifferently, *"What happened in the past is over. I won't trouble you, but don't provoke me again."*

The students felt as if they had been granted **amnesty**, exhaling in relief. As long as Zhou Yang didn't come after them, they would thank the heavens. **Who in their right mind would dare provoke him now?**

They kowtowed gratefully, *"Thank you, Brother Yang! You're truly magnanimous! If you ever need anything, just give the word—we'll do our utmost!"*

Zhou Yang replied flatly, *"We'll see."*

Their attitude toward him had undergone a **180-degree shift**, and the feeling of being **feared and revered** was intoxicating. After so many years, he had finally **reclaimed his dignity**.

A few attractive girls approached, boldly flirting and asking for his number.

Zhou Yang simply said, *"I already have a girlfriend."*

With a campus belle like Lin Qinglu by his side, he had no interest in these girls.

Lin Qinglu, meanwhile, was **overjoyed**. She felt that Zhou Yang truly cherished her, and walking beside him now filled her with pride—like an **untouchable princess**.

The rejected girls were **devastated**, their eyes burning with envy and resentment toward Lin Qinglu.

The onlookers had all changed their minds. They unanimously agreed that Zhou Yang and Lin Qinglu were a **perfect match**—talented man, beautiful woman.

Some even felt that Lin Qinglu **wasn't good enough** for someone as formidable as Zhou Yang.

They trailed behind the couple, chattering excitedly.

### **The Li Family's Fury**

Meanwhile, Li Qiang and his group were **suffering in agony**.

Clutching his injuries, Li Qiang growled at Li Hui, *"Second Uncle, we **have** to kill that bastard Zhou Yang!"*

Today had been a **devastating humiliation**—not only had he been beaten and forced to crawl between Zhou Yang's legs, but the girl he liked, Lin Qinglu, was now Zhou Yang's girlfriend.

Li Hui, too, **hated** Zhou Yang to the core. But the reality was undeniable—Zhou Yang's strength was **overwhelming**. None of the Li family's experts stood a chance.

*"Zhou Yang **will** die,"* Li Hui said darkly. *"But we must plan carefully. You're badly injured—let's get you to the hospital first."*

With that, they left Chunjiang No. 1 High School and rushed Li Qiang to **Chunjiang Central Hospital**. After settling the medical arrangements, Li Hui returned to the **Li Family Villa** in Purple Gold Manor.

The villa spanned over **10 acres**, standing six stories tall. Dozens of luxury cars were parked inside like an **auto exhibition**, alongside a helipad holding **two private helicopters**.

Four burly guards in security uniforms stood at the entrance, their auras suggesting formidable strength.

As soon as Li Hui's car stopped, an attendant rushed to open the door respectfully.

With a grim expression, Li Hui entered the mansion and headed straight to **Li Jinglei's study**.

Inside sat a man in his forties—slightly plump, fair-skinned, with slicked-back hair and gold-rimmed glasses. He exuded an air of **scholarly elegance**, resembling a university professor.

This man was **Li Jinglei**, the **head of the Li Family**.

He had just finished meeting an important guest and had been waiting for Li Hui.

*"Second Uncle, how did it go?"* he asked politely. Despite being the family head, he showed Li Hui due respect—after all, Li Hui was his **eldest uncle** and had contributed greatly to the family.

Li Hui's face darkened. *"Li Qiang was **brutally beaten** by a bastard named Zhou Yang. His right arm is **shattered**, his left wrist **broken**... and he was forced to **crawl between Zhou Yang's legs**."*

His teeth ground audibly, his hatred for Zhou Yang **burning like wildfire**.

This was not just Li Qiang's shame—it was the **Li Family's humiliation**.

Li Jinglei **exploded** with rage, slamming his palm onto the solid **nanmu wood desk**. With a **deafening crack**, the table **splintered into pieces**.

Li Qiang was his **youngest son**, his **pride and joy**. Not only was the boy talented, but Li Jinglei had **high hopes** for him to become a **fifth-level Qi Refiner** one day.

Yet now, his son had been **mercilessly beaten** in their own city!

His eyes turned **icy with killing intent**. *"Who the hell is this Zhou Yang? Did you kill him?"*

Li Hui shook his head bitterly. *"Our men and I were **all defeated** by him. The kid is only **eighteen**, but I suspect he's a **seventh-level Qi Refiner**."*

Li Jinglei's pupils contracted. *"What?! He injured all of you? A **seventh-level Qi Refiner**? Since when does Chunjiang have someone like that? Is he from a **major cultivation family**?"*

Li Hui replied, *"I've already investigated. Zhou Yang has no mother, and his father, **Zhou Ziqiang**, runs a small martial arts studio on Hongwu Road. The man is only a **first-level Qi Refiner**. I doubt they have any powerful backing."*

*"Then how is Zhou Yang so strong?"* Li Jinglei demanded.

Li Hui had no answer. *"We're still looking into it. But there's more—Zhou Yang said... he wants the **Li Family to disappear from Chunjiang**."*

Li Jinglei's rage **erupted like a volcano**. Normally, he was a man of **deep restraint**, but now, his fury was **unstoppable**.

*"That little bastard **dares** to say that?!"* he roared. *"Why? Is he working for the **Xie Family**?"*

The **Xie Family** was one of Chunjiang's **four great clans**, equal in strength to the Li Family. The two had been **mortal enemies** for years, each scheming to **annihilate the other**.

Li Hui nodded grimly. *"It's possible. But right now, the priority is **dealing with Zhou Yang**. Perhaps we should visit the **Huang Family** and request their assistance."*

The **Huang Family** was a **major cultivation clan** with immense influence across **Haidong Province**. The Li Family had long **clung to their coattails**, relying on them to solve problems beyond their means.
