Lily's father furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her questioningly. "Who?"
Lily replied, "Why don't you greet the Grandfather first! We'll talk later."
Lily's mother looked at her daughter teasingly with a smile, realizing who her daughter wanted to introduce to them. Her mother's intuition already found the person who was looking at her daughter. She had married her love. So, she could understand how he was looking at her daughter. Lily's mother had already noticed him, when patting Lily. Eli, who felt someone's staring, looked at Lily's mother and nodded to her, then looked back at Lily again.
Lily's parents went to greet grandfather Allen. "Hello, Mr.Allen. We hope you're recovering well." Lily's father greeted him.
"Hello, Mr. Allen. How are you?"
Lily's mother greeted him, placing a fruit basket in her hand next to the table.
"I'm fine, Mr. & Mrs. Cela. I'm feeling better. Thank you." Grandpa Allen replied to them.
Later, Lily's parents expressed their gratitude towards Alicia Allen and also thanked him on behalf of his wife.
All that while, Lily didn't look at Eli, thinking about how to introduce him to her parents and the marriage she wanted to register. Eli thought she probably didn't want her parents to know about them right away. He respected her wishes, so he calmly stood where he was.
After a while, when their parents were talking to Grandfather Allen about random things, Lily took a deep breath and walked over to her parents.
Lily looked straight at them and said, "Come on." She held their hands and led them to the couch opposite Grandfather Allen's bed and sat them down on it.
Lily's parents looked at her and her father asked with a smile, "What? My princess."
Lily stood in front of them without answering, then turned to Eli, stretched out her hand, and called, "Come here."
Eli walked over to her and took her hand in his and looked at her. Lily looked back at him before turning to her parents and introduced him. "Mom and Dad, He is the one I wanted to introduce you to. Elisha Allen."
Lily's father didn't respond to anything and was surprised that his daughter had introduced, a guy to him.
Lily's mother nodded and said, "Hmm, continue," allowing her daughter to say what she wanted to say.
Lily's father heard his wife's voice and snapped out of his thoughts, and listened to what her daughter wanted to say. "I want to marry him."
Lily's father stunned like a bomb exploded in his heart. He turned to look at Eli and tried to say something, but his wife grabbed his hand, indicating 'NO' and he listened to her. Lily's mother didn't get the answer she wanted from her daughter. So she asked her "Why?"
Lily's mother could guess that her daughter was shy to admit her feelings outwardly, but she already had the courage to tell them that she wanted to marry him. So, why is she still shy about telling her parents about her love? Or she didn't love him? But it doesn't look like that. Her mother thought in her head.
But unknown to her, her daughter became so courageous, that she even forgot herself as a shy girl.
Lily replied to her mother. "Because, we can't be without each other. Just like you two can't."
Well, another bomb exploded in Lily's father's heart. Lily's mother also didn't expect that her daughter would not only answer, but also compare them.
Eli, who had been staring at Lily, released her hand from his grip, placed it on her shoulder, and pulled her towards him.
Seeing this, Lily's father could not bear it any longer and stood up to take his daughter from Eli. He grabbed Lily's hand, pulled her towards him, and glared at Eli.
Lily was shocked by her father's action and Lily's mother shook her head helplessly.
