Lu Yin watched the scene unfold and casually ordered two dishes. In times like these, a restaurant still in operation must have significant backing—at the very least, no one dared to cause trouble. Disciplinary Camp soldiers patrolled the entrance every two minutes, clearly providing special protection.
"Here are your dishes. Please enjoy," the waiter said, placing three plates in front of Lu Yin before turning and walking away.
Lu Yin took a bite and frowned. It didn't taste good, but compared to rat meat or mutant dog meat, it was much better. He took out a map and examined it while eating.
Before long, over a dozen figures entered the restaurant. The owner's eyes lit up upon seeing them.
"Young Master Kang, please come in! It's pouring outside. What would you like to eat? We can bring it to you," the owner said enthusiastically.
The man addressed as Young Master Kang nodded and sat at a table not far from Lu Yin. He glanced at Lu Yin but paid him no mind, then tapped the table.
With a thud, a figure was thrown to the ground, breaking a bench. Trembling, he looked at Young Master Kang.
"I'm sorry, Young Master Kang! I didn't know that was your item. If I had known, I wouldn't have dared to take it even if I had ten times the courage. Please forgive me!"
Young Master Kang sneered, "Forgive you? I lost one because of you. You have two choices: pay thirty energy crystals or die. Choose."
The man despaired. "Young Master Kang, I truly didn't know it was yours. Please spare me! I'll serve you like a dog if you let me live."
Young Master Kang slammed the table and pulled out a gun, pressing it to the man's head. "No crystals? Then goodbye."
The man's eyes widened in despair. Suddenly, he pointed toward Lu Yin.
"Him! I gave it to him!"
Everyone turned to look at Lu Yin.
Lu Yin set down his cup without speaking. From the moment he entered, he had noticed that the beaten man was the shifty-eyed evolver who had sold him a map for three crystals, even throwing in a stamina pill. At the time, Lu Yin had found it odd—stamina pills were expensive. Now it seemed the man had stolen it, likely from Young Master Kang.
Young Master Kang stared at Lu Yin for a moment, then kicked the shifty-eyed evolver.
"Xu San, you dare deceive me? Trying to fool me by pointing at a random person?"
Xu San quickly shouted, "It's true! He bought a map from me. Look, the map on his table has a mark in the lower right corner!"
Everyone looked at Lu Yin's map.
Lu Yin glanced at it himself—there was indeed a mark.
Young Master Kang and his men dragged Xu San over.
"Hey, buddy, you took something you shouldn't have. Shouldn't you return it?"
"Get lost," Lu Yin replied calmly.
Young Master Kang's expression changed. The surrounding dozen evolvers were furious.
"What a temper! Do you know what Young Master Kang represents in the Jinling settlement? You've got guts, kid."
As they spoke, someone reached out to grab Lu Yin.
Lu Yin casually flicked his chopsticks, piercing through several evolvers' arms and pinning them to the wall. The wall cracked, and blood splattered across the table as screams echoed.
Young Master Kang's face turned pale, and he quickly stepped back. The surrounding evolvers also retreated.
The restaurant owner was shocked and fled immediately.
Young Master Kang pointed his gun at Lu Yin. "My uncle is a Disciplinary Camp Centurion. Don't mess around. Hand over the item, and we can talk."
"I threw it away," Lu Yin said calmly.
Young Master Kang clearly didn't believe him. "I'll say it again: hand it over, or I'll show you what despair means. You can't afford to offend a Ground-level expert."
Lu Yin suddenly became curious. "If your uncle is a Ground-level expert, why does he need a stamina pill?"
Young Master Kang's face twitched in anger. "How dare you slander my uncle! You're courting death! Lao Wu, contact my uncle immediately."
He wasn't foolish—he knew firearms were useless against Lu Yin.
Lu Yin glanced sharply at the half-dead Xu San. He had misunderstood—the item Young Master Kang wanted wasn't a stamina pill but something else. Xu San had shifted the blame onto him.
Lying on the ground, Xu San lowered his head, not daring to meet Lu Yin's gaze.
Lu Yin smiled, unconcerned. Whether he took the blame or not didn't matter. Now he was curious about what could interest a Centurion. Earth had undergone evolution, producing many valuable items, attracting students from various interstellar academies for trials. Perhaps this Centurion had indeed found something.
Before long, a middle-aged man entered the restaurant, waved away all Disciplinary Camp soldiers, and looked inside.
"Uncle, you're here!" Young Master Kang exclaimed with joy, raising his gun higher.
Lu Yin watched the scene unfold and casually ordered two dishes. In times like these, any restaurant still operating must have significant backing—at the very least, no one dared cause trouble. Criminal Camp soldiers patrolled the entrance every two minutes, clearly offering special protection.
"Here are your dishes. Please enjoy," the waiter said, placing three plates in front of Lu Yin before turning away without another word.
Lu Yin took a bite and frowned. The food wasn't tasty, but compared to rat or mutated dog meat, it was a significant improvement. He pulled out a map, examining it as he ate.

The man addressed as Young Master Kang nodded and sat at a table not far from Lu Yin. He glanced at Lu Yin but paid him no mind, then tapped the table. "Bring it over."
With a thud, a figure was thrown to the ground, breaking a stool. The man trembled as he looked at Young Master Kang. "I'm sorry, Young Master Kang. I didn't know that was yours. If I had, I wouldn't have dared steal it even if I had ten lives. Please forgive me."
Young Master Kang sneered. "Forgive you? Then how do I explain losing one? You have two choices: thirty energy crystals or death. Pick one."
The man despaired. "Young Master Kang, I truly didn't know it was yours. Please spare me. I'll be your dog if you let me live."
Young Master Kang slammed the table, pulling out a gun and pressing it to the man's head. "No crystals? Then goodbye."
The man's eyes widened in despair. Suddenly, he pointed toward Lu Yin. "Him! I gave it to him!"
Everyone turned to look at Lu Yin.
Lu Yin set down his cup without speaking. From the moment he entered, he had noticed the man being beaten—it was the same shifty-eyed evolver who had sold him a map for three crystals, even throwing in a male enhancement pill. At the time, Lu Yin found it odd, as such pills were expensive. Now it seemed the man had stolen it—specifically from Young Master Kang.
Young Master Kang stared at Lu Yin for a moment, then kicked the shifty-eyed evolver. "Xu San, trying to fool me by pointing to a random person?"
Xu San quickly shouted, "It's true! He bought a map from me. Look, the one on his table has my mark in the lower right corner."
Everyone looked over.
Lu Yin glanced at the map—it did indeed have a mark.
Young Master Kang and his men dragged Xu San over. "Hey, you took something you shouldn't have. Time to give it back, don't you think?"
"Get lost," Lu Yin replied calmly.
Young Master Kang's face darkened. The surrounding evolvers grew furious. "Big attitude! Do you know what Young Master Kang represents in the Jinling settlement? You've got guts."
One of them immediately reached out to grab Lu Yin.
Lu Yin casually flicked a chopstick, piercing through several evolvers' arms and pinning them to the wall, which cracked upon impact. Blood splattered across the table, and screams filled the air.
Young Master Kang turned pale and quickly stepped back, as did the others.
The restaurant owner was shocked and fled.
Young Master Kang pointed his gun at Lu Yin. "My uncle is a Criminal Camp commander. Don't push your luck. Hand over the item, and we can talk."
"I threw it away," Lu Yin said calmly.
Young Master Kang clearly didn't believe him. "I'll say it again: give it up, or I'll show you despair. You can't afford to offend a commander-level evolver."
Lu Yin suddenly grew curious. "If your uncle is such a powerful evolver, why does he need a male enhancement pill?"
Young Master Kang's face twitched in anger. "How dare you slander my uncle! You're dead! Old Wu, contact my uncle immediately." He wasn't stupid—he knew firearms wouldn't work on Lu Yin.
Lu Yin's sharp gaze turned to the half-dead Xu San. He had misunderstood—Young Master Kang wasn't after a male enhancement pill but something else. Xu San had deflected the blame onto him.
Lying on the ground, Xu San avoided Lu Yin's gaze.
Lu Yin chuckled, unconcerned. He didn't mind being blamed. Now, he was curious about what could interest a commander. Earth's evolution had produced many valuable items, attracting students from various cosmic academies for trials. Perhaps this commander had found something significant.
Before long, a middle-aged man entered the restaurant, waving away all Criminal Camp soldiers and looking inside.
"Uncle, you're here!" Young Master Kang exclaimed with joy, raising his gun higher.
