Chapter 6: Reinforcements and Strategy
Srabon sat by the Barracks, watching as the surviving Barbarians nursed their wounds. The sting of failure weighed heavily on him. The villagers whispered among themselves, casting uncertain glances his way.
[New Quest: Recruit 10 Additional Barbarians. Reward: 200 Gold, 150 Elixir.]
Srabon closed the system interface, his jaw clenched. He couldn't afford another failure. Not after what happened.
The Builder walked over, a stern expression on his face. "You can't just throw troops at the enemy and hope for the best, Chief. You need a plan."
Srabon exhaled deeply. "I thought splitting them into two groups was enough."
"It wasn't," the Builder said bluntly. "You need to consider the enemy's defenses. Where are the Archer Towers placed? Are there traps? Do they have reinforcements?"
Srabon nodded slowly. "Alright. How do we prepare better?"
The Builder pointed to the Barracks. "First, train more Barbarians. But we also need range support."
[New Unit Unlocked: Archer. Cost: 100 Elixir. Training Time: 2 minutes.]
Srabon's eyes lit up. "Archers?"
"They can attack from a distance, covering the Barbarians. But they're fragile. Keep them protected," the Builder warned.
Srabon immediately queued up 10 Barbarians and 5 Archers. While the troops trained, he walked the village perimeter with the Builder, discussing defense strategies.
"We need to set up traps," the Builder said, pointing to vulnerable entry points. "And upgrade the Archer Tower."
[New Quest: Upgrade the Archer Tower to Level 2. Reward: 300 Gold, 200 Elixir.]
Srabon nodded, determination burning in his eyes. "Let's do it."
As the day wore on, the village bustled with activity. The sound of hammers echoed through the air as the Builder worked tirelessly on the Archer Tower. Meanwhile, the new troops assembled, ready and eager for their next mission.
This time, Srabon wouldn't let them down.
