Naruto: The Doll That Killed Them All

Chapter 1: The Curse Takes Root

The cave lab, carved into a cliff beyond Konoha's borders, reeked of blood and scorched chakra.

Eight-year-old Kaito, an orphan stolen from the village's slums, lay strapped to a stone slab, his thin frame trembling under glowing seals. His dark eyes, brimming with tears, locked onto Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, whose white hair caught the flickering torchlight.

Tobirama's hands moved with surgical precision, etching a cursed seal deep into Kaito's chest.

"Souls hold untapped power," Tobirama murmured, voice cold and sharp. "Your sacrifice will shield Konoha."

Kaito's lips quivered, a broken whisper escaping. "I… I don't wanna die…"

His thoughts screamed: I was just playing outside! Why me?

The seal pulsed. Chakra burned through his veins like molten glass. Pain swallowed him whole as his soul tore free—a wrenching snap, like falling into a pit of blinding light.

Across the room, a wooden monkey doll sat on a table. Its painted grin stretched wide, drumsticks clutched tight in tiny wooden hands.

Kaito's essence slammed into it.

His final thought, twisting into a snarl: I'll make you bleed, Tobirama. All of you.

Then, darkness.

Tobirama's eyes narrowed, sensing something… off. The doll's beady eyes flickered faintly. He dismissed it. "Another failure," he muttered, locking the doll in an iron box and burying it deep in the lab's vault.

Six months later, Kaito's soul stirred, trapped in the wooden shell.

I'm… here?

His childish mind, warped by pain and death, giggled.

Tobirama's gonna lose this game!

Vengeance burned through him, but his thoughts danced with glee.

Someone spin me! Let's start!

---

Decades passed. The lab lay abandoned, Konoha grew under new leaders, and the world forgot the experiments buried deep underground.

Young Tsunade, twelve, blonde pigtails swinging and stubborn as ever, crept into a restricted archive near the village center.

"Orochimaru thinks I'm a baby," she grumbled, kicking aside dusty scrolls.

Among the relics looted from the old lab, the iron box sat, its lock corroded. A faint chakra pulse, soft as a heartbeat, tugged at Tsunade's hand.

Spin me, Kaito's soul urged, his thoughts humming,

Spin the key, bang the drum, Senju blood will come undone!

Tsunade pried open the box, eyes lighting up at the strange doll's eerie charm.

"Weird toy," she murmured, turning the key in its back.

Creak.

The drumsticks tapped—thump-thump.

Kaito's mind zeroed in on a target: Senju Riku, a guard with Tobirama's bloodline, patrolling the archive perimeter.

You're mine, Kaito thought, his soul singing,

Time to paint it red!

---

Outside, Riku laughed softly with his wife, Hana, who'd slipped past patrols to bring him a bento.

"You'll get me in trouble," Riku teased, brushing her cheek.

Hana's thoughts glowed warmly—He's my home, always. Her smile was soft, unaware that Tsunade, skipping nearby with the drumming doll, was about to spin the key again.

"It's alive!" Tsunade giggled, spinning it once more.

The drum's rhythm surged, a silent pulse only Kaito felt.

Riku's breath hitched. His body locked up.

Hana's brow furrowed. "Riku?"

His skin split—tearing like wet cloth. Blood gushed as his ribs burst outward, organs rupturing in a spray of crimson. His arms shredded, bones piercing through flesh like jagged blades.

His head collapsed inward.

A splatter of gore hit Hana's face.

Her scream tore through Konoha, hands clawing at the pulpy, broken heap that had been her husband.

No, no, we were just talking! her mind shattered, tears mixing with blood.

We dreamed of kids…

What a mess! Kaito cackled, his soul twirling inside the doll.

Her screaming's so loud! Next player!

The doll's wooden face stayed blank, its drumsticks twitching faintly.

Tsunade dropped it, face ashen.

What just happened? her thoughts raced, guilt surging.

I spun the key, and…

She didn't notice the doll flicker, its cursed chakra vanishing it to a new spot.

---

Konoha's chunin rushed to Riku's body, whispering of enemy jutsu, maybe an ambush from Kumo. No one suspected the strange wooden relic, its painted grin unchanging.

Kaito's thoughts sang in the dark:

Spin the key, bang the drum, another fool will come undone!

Hana's sobs faded into the night, a sound Kaito found amusing but fleeting.

She's done, he thought, already craving the next scream.

The doll reappeared on a ninja route, dropped by a thief who'd swiped it from the archive. The key glinted under the starlight, waiting.

Somewhere nearby, a child's shadow fell over it, small fingers twitching with curiosity.
