The gates of Konoha stood tall, steady, and ancient like guardians of history.
Gojo blinked.
It wasn't the first time he'd seen them—he had seen them in the anime many times back on Earth.
But this time…
This time he saw them for real.
---
Every carving on the wood…
Every crack in the old stone path…
Every sound of shinobi boots passing through…
It was vivid.
It was alive.
He was in the world of Naruto.
Truly.
---
The carriage passed through the gate slowly.
Inside, Gojo sat quietly beside his grandfather, Lord Kazuo.
The bustle of the village began to fill his ears.
Laughter.
Chatter.
Footsteps.
Even the hawker calls.
He looked around with quiet awe.
---
The Fire Nation was far more advanced.
The streets were clean, modern, even majestic.
But Konoha…
Konoha was nostalgic.
Warm.
Lively.
Simple.
It wasn't high-tech.
But it was… homey.
---
Gojo's azure blue eyes scanned the street.
He saw children running around, playing tag.
Laughing with bright, carefree smiles.
Some were tugging their mothers' hands, asking for dango.
Others were being scolded for climbing walls.
---
And then…
He froze.
He was in a daze.
His gaze fell on a young boy…
Laughing while his mother held his hand.
The mother smiled gently, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Gojo's heart… twisted.
---
He remembered his mother.
His first mother… on Earth.
And the second one… the one he lost as a newborn here.
That tender smile.
That final kiss.
Gone.
Forever.
---
"...Silly brat," came a low chuckle.
Gojo snapped back.
His grandfather, Kazuo, stroked his white hair gently.
There was a warm smile on his lips.
Gojo blinked.
And then smiled back.
---
"I'll be heading to the Hokage's office," Kazuo said softly.
Gojo turned to him, eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"Can I stroll around for a bit?" he asked.
Kazuo raised a brow.
Then, with a short chuckle, nodded.
"But don't wander too far."
Gojo grinned and jumped off the carriage.
---
Kazuo turned behind and gestured subtly.
A shadow behind him nodded.
It was a silent shinobi bodyguard—cloaked in gray, face hidden.
"Follow him. Protect him from the shadows," Kazuo ordered.
And with that, the old man turned and entered the Hokage Tower.
---
Gojo walked the streets of Konoha, enjoying the air.
It wasn't the freshest.
But it was nostalgic.
The smells of street food.
The shouts of shopkeepers.
The distinct aura of chakra he could now faintly feel.
---
Then—
A sharp noise.
A girl's frightened cry.
Gojo's head snapped to the left.
Down an alley…
He saw them.
---
Three boys, a bit older, surrounding a small girl.
The girl trembled, her pale lavender eyes wide with fear.
Her knees were scraped.
Her eyes had tears.
And her little hands clutched the hem of her jacket.
---
"W-why are you crying? You think you're better than us because you're a clan girl!?"
One boy mocked her.
Another kicked a rock near her.
Gojo narrowed his eyes.
He hated bullies.
---
"Hey!" he barked.
The boys turned.
Gojo stood there, arms crossed.
With white messy hair dancing in the wind.
And blue eyes that shone like steel under sunlight.
---
"She's half your size and you think you're strong? Pathetic."
"Wanna try someone your size?"
---
"Tch! Some random brat?"
"Let's beat him up too!"
The boys lunged at him.
The little girl gasped and shut her eyes in fear.
---
She whispered quietly…
"Please… please be safe…"
---
The next moment—
Thud.
Crash.
Wham!
---
The bullies flew across the alley like ragdolls.
Gojo didn't even use chakra.
Just his raw body strength.
Thanks to his Senju and Uzumaki lineage, his physical strength was abnormally high—even as a child.
---
He dusted his hands and walked to the girl.
She looked up, stunned.
Gojo reached out a hand.
"Are you okay?" he asked, gently.
---
The rays of the sun touched his face at that moment.
His hair shimmered silver-white.
His smile—bright and sincere.
And his eyes glowed like sapphires.
The little girl's heart skipped a beat.
---
She slowly reached out…
And took his hand.
He helped her up gently.
"My name is Gojo," he said kindly.
She stared for a few seconds, still dazed.
Then blinked.
"I-I'm… Hinata. Hyuga Hinata…"
---
Gojo froze.
Hinata?
Wait…
Hinata Hyuga?!
The Hinata?!
He looked at her again.
Short hair.
Big lavender eyes.
Chubby cheeks.
Baby fat still present.
So freaking cute.
This was definitely little Hinata.
---
And then—
Ding!

---
Gojo's mind went blank.
The… system!?
After three years of silence!?
He had tried to talk to it so many times!
Begged it!
Screamed at it in his mind!
And now it just randomly decided to go "Ding!" like it was playing a prank?!
---
Still…
5000 points?
A novice gift?
And wait—plundered opportunity of Naruto?
He turned his head slightly.
From a nearby rooftop…
A blond boy with whisker marks was peeking from behind a wall.
Naruto.
---
Gojo pieced it together.
This was Naruto's original moment.
He was supposed to help Hinata here.
To win her heart.
But Gojo had interfered.
And the system stole Naruto's opportunity—
And gave it to him.
---
Gojo looked at Hinata.
Still red-faced.
Still holding his hand tightly.
Still staring at him like a goddess had descended.
He felt both proud… and slightly guilty.
---
"Ano… Gojo-kun…"
"Um… w-would you drop me off to my house?"
Gojo smiled.
"Sure. I'd like to walk you there."
He gently held her hand.
Soft.
Small.
Warm.
---
They walked slowly, step by step.
At the Hyuga compound entrance, Hinata looked up shyly.
"Um… I'll remember your kindness forever, Gojo-kun…"
She gave a little bow.
And a big smile.
Gojo nodded.
"Take care, Hinata."
---
She waved as she went inside.
And Gojo stood there…
Heart pounding.
System activated.
First opportunity stolen.
Hinata's favor gained.
Naruto's moment shifted.
---
He looked at his palm.
Then the sky.
Then grinned.
"Alright…"
"Let's see what this system can really do."
