And they shared a very common trait.
No, perhaps it was better to say this was a unique trait of the High School DxD world.

Asia blushed bright red from the bold statements of the girls around them.
But Vitan? He was completely unfazed.

"Vitan-san, did you say something?"
Asia, walking beside him, twitched her ears slightly and tilted her head to ask.
"It's nothing. The people coming to meet us have arrived."
Casually brushing off Asia's question, Vitan pointed forward with his finger, indicating the entrance of the school building.
A girl with neat, shoulder-length black hair gave off a crisp and refreshing impression.
The glasses she wore added an air of intelligence and scholarly grace, but her expressionless face exuded an icy and stern aura from the inside out.
Standing beside this short-haired girl was another girl with striking crimson hair.
Her beauty was beyond words, and her naturally exuded noble aura stood out.
Her waist-length scarlet hair fluttered in the air, brightening the surroundings and perfectly complementing her snow-white skin.

Vitan was already acquainted with Rias and Sona.
After his sparring match with Sairaorg, he had submitted an application to Sirzechs to go to Japan.
At that time, Sirzechs had called Rias and Sona—who were managing affairs in Japan—over.
As such, the two girls had reconnected with Vitan, who could be considered something of a childhood friend.
"Not at all. It's an honor for both me and Sona to have you vacationing in our territory. It's getting late. How about I have someone take Asia-san to her class now?"
Looking at the somewhat timid Asia beside Vitan, Rias spoke politely and gracefully.
At the same time, she gave Asia a very warm and kind smile.
That smile helped Asia ease much of her nervousness.
After Rias said this, a female student who had been standing quietly behind her—so quietly she had gone completely unnoticed—stepped forward.
She had short silver hair, a delicate and pretty face, a headband with a black cat design, and an unmistakable aura of a nekomata.
It was none other than Toujou Koneko, Rias's rook.
"Asia-san, please come with me. I'll take you to your class."
Her doll-like adorable face showed no emotion, clearly someone not good at communication.
"I've arranged for Asia-san to be in the same class as Koneko. If she ever has any trouble, she can talk to Koneko for help."
"Y-Yes! I'll be in your care, Koneko-san."
