They were finally able to sneak inside and proceeded to meet with the officials of the rebellion. Naruto, along with his team, now stood before Ao and a few of the Mist ANBU.

Ao narrowed his eyes as he looked them over.

"You must be from the Hidden Leaf Village, if I'm not mistaken," he said coolly.

The Leaf shinobi remained mostly silent. Naruto wasn't much of a talker, and the others followed his lead. But someone had to speak.

One of the masked ANBU stepped forward and replied,

"Yes. We've been sent by the Hidden Leaf Village to assist your rebellion."

Ao's gaze swept over them, noticing that only a single squad had arrived.

"Is this it? Just one squad?" he asked, his voice laced with skepticism.

The same ANBU nodded.

"Yes. We are all that the Leaf has sent."

Ao frowned slightly. He had expected at least a hundred shinobi. The rebellion needed serious manpower, not a handful of elites. He was about to protest, but Itachi—unmasked and calm—stepped forward.

"Don't worry. We are more than capable of helping you with your mission," Itachi said smoothly. "Take us to your leader, and we'll discuss the operation in detail."

Ao studied him for a moment, then gave a reluctant nod and began to lead the group.

Silently, Ao activated his Byakugan as they walked, attempting to identify who was behind the masks. However, to his surprise, each mask was sealed with a jutsu that blocked his vision from seeing their faces. Annoyed, he instead examined their chakra networks.

Most of them had chakra levels consistent with elite ANBU. But then his eyes focused on one particular individual—the one who had spoken earlier. His chakra flow was unusually precise, especially around the eyes.

Ao narrowed his eyes. A Sharingan...

An Uchiha. And based on what he'd heard, likely the Uchiha prodigy—Itachi.

But then his gaze landed on the final member of the squad, and he nearly lost his footing.

He quickly composed himself, his mind racing.

The last member was a boy—young, maybe thirteen or fourteen, no older than fifteen. He was tall for his age, but his physique still clearly marked him as a teenager. Despite that, Ao could feel the overwhelming presence rolling off him—his chakra was dense, controlled, and intimidating.

That must be him, Ao thought. Naruto Namikaze... the one they say was trained in secret by Itachi himself. The rising star of Konoha.

Even the Mizukage didn't have chakra this vast. Ao had never seen anyone, not even among the elite, with such immense reserves. And he had seen the chakra network of Kisame Hoshigaki, who was often referred to as a "tailless Tailed Beast" due to his chakra levels. But this kid—this boy—held even more within him.

Ao deactivated his Byakugan for now. He'd report this immediately to Mei Terumi. He had already been hearing rumors about "the Demonic Flash," the son of the Hokage. He had his suspicions about the boy's identity, and if they were true… then they had an extraordinary shinobi aiding them.

He turned back toward the group. "Wait here," Ao instructed. "I'll inform Mei Terumi-sama. She will meet you shortly."

The Leaf shinobi gave a slight nod as Ao entered the main rebel camp.

Inside, Mei Terumi stood over a large map of the Mist Village and its surrounding terrain, studying it with her advisors. Ao entered, and she immediately noticed his presence.

"Oh, you're back already," she said, glancing up. "That must mean the Konoha shinobi have arrived?"

Ao gave a curt nod.

"Well then, how many shinobi has the Hidden Leaf decided to send as aid?" she asked, clearly hopeful.

Ao hesitated for a moment before answering, "They've sent... a single ANBU squad."

Mei's eyes widened in shock. "What? One ANBU squad? That's it?" Her voice rose slightly in disbelief.

She was about to express her frustration further when Ao quickly interjected.

"Mei-sama, please wait. I believe I know who they've sent. That may change things."

Mei looked at him curiously. "Explain."

Ao nodded. "I activated my Byakugan. While their masks were sealed to prevent identification, I was still able to examine their chakra networks. One of them is clearly an Uchiha. The chakra flow to his eyes and his appearance—particularly his hair—match what I know of the Uchiha clan."

Mei's expression grew serious. "An Uchiha, you say? Could it be... the Uchiha?"

Ao nodded solemnly. "If I'm not mistaken, he is one of the prodigies. Possibly even Itachi Uchiha himself , If I'm not mistaken, he must be the Uchiha prodigy I've been hearing so much about: Itachi Uchiha."

At this, Mei was taken aback. Itachi Uchiha was almost a legend within the entire Uchiha clan. Stories about his strength and exploits were widespread. She was at least relieved that Konoha had sent such a high-ranking shinobi.

But then Ao continued.

"Mei-sama, there's another person in the squad. From the looks of it, he's the leader. He can't be older than 14 or 15, I guarantee it."

Mei frowned. "So what's so special about him?"

Ao spoke gravely. "I have reasons to believe… he's the Demonic Flesh—the son of the Hokage."

Silence fell across the entire room. Some of the rebel advisors who were about to criticize Konoha for sending too few shinobi froze, their words dying on their tongues.

Mei looked at Ao. "Are you sure?"

Ao nodded slowly. "I'm not entirely sure, Mei-sama… but I saw his chakra network with my Byakugan. His chakra reserves were enormous. I've never seen anything like it. He has more chakra than our current Mizukage and Kisame Hoshigaki combined. And the control he has over it… I couldn't even sense his presence until I focused. With chakra that massive, it's nearly impossible to remain undetected. Yet… there was nothing. He concealed himself perfectly."

Again, the room fell silent.

Mei's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. If Konoha had really sent not only Itachi Uchiha, but also the so-called Demonic Flesh, the rising star of the Elemental Nations—then they had indeed sent more than just an ordinary squad. This boy… this Naruto Namikaze, was rumored to have defeated elites from both Iwa and Kumo simultaneously, and even subdued one of Iwa's Jinchūriki as if it were nothing. And he had done that at the age of only eight.

At the time, when she first heard those stories, she had scoffed. They sounded like exaggerated tales. But now… with more and more confirmation over the years, it had become clear that the Elemental Nations had a new star.

Naruto Namikaze, otherwise known as the Demonic Flesh.

Mei finally nodded. "Alright. I will meet with them."

Ao gave a respectful nod and left to summon them.

Not long after, the entire Konoha ANBU squad stood before Mei Terumī. She carefully studied the two shinobi Ao had described. One of them, she recognized instantly from the Bingo Book—his presence alone sent a chill through the room…
