Chapter 1 - whispers of a forgotten war

Chapter 1: Whispers of a Forgotten War

Long ago—long before cities rose and machines hummed—the world was shaped by forces beyond mortal understanding. Light and Shadow, bound in eternal conflict, tore through the skies and oceans, and only a few dared to stand between them.

But history buried the truth. What remained were only myths. Stories. Fairy tales.

Until now

The Cracks Begin

In a world that had long forgotten the ancient battle, darkness began to stir once again. Natural disasters struck without warning. Strange energies pulsed through the skies. Whispers spoke of creatures appearing in places where no life should exist. People began having visions—dreams of fire, shadow, and ruin.

In one corner of the modern world, hidden from the eyes of the ordinary, there stood an Academy. Not an ordinary school, but one shielded by enchantments, protected by time itself. Known only to the chosen few, Veritas Academy was the last sanctuary of ancient knowledge.

But even it was changing.

The Headmaster stood on the Academy's highest balcony, gazing at the sky as it shimmered unnaturally. Behind him, teachers and council members murmured nervously.

"It has begun," he said softly.

"Are you sure?" one of the elder teachers asked.

He didn't respond. Instead, he turned to the ancient wall behind him, where seven symbols—each glowing faintly—were carved into the stone. One symbol flickered stronger than the rest, its light unstable.

"They are returning," he said. "But they do not know who they are."

Scene 2: The First Signs

Across the city, in different lives, something strange was happening. Six students—ordinary to the world—began to feel it. Something pulling them. Something waking up inside them.

Each of them, in a different place, would soon find a strange book. Bound in leather, etched in runes, and warm to the touch. The title was burned into its cover:

The Book of Origin.

And when they opened it, the first page simply read:

"To find your truth, you must first lose the world you know."

Scene 3: The Forgotten Seventh

But unknown to all, there was one more.

Someone whose power had not yet awakened.

Hidden. Silent. Watching.

The seventh had no book. No signs. Only dreams. Dreams of fire, loss, and a world she had never seen—and yet somehow knew.

Far from the others, she awoke one night with a whisper in her ear.

"They will need you. But not yet."
