Chapter 2 - CH2-SYSTEM

UNKNOWN PLACE

Third-Person POV

After the white light engulfed Mayukh, he found himself floating in an endless void—a weightless, empty existence stretching as far as his eyes could see. There was nothing. No sound. No sensation. Just an abyss of nothingness.

"–rld…What the hell...?" he muttered, his voice echoing strangely in the silence. He glanced around, hoping to see something—anything—but there was nothing except himself.

Classic horror movie logic: if you hear your own echo, you're either about to die or become the chosen one. There is no in-between.

"Didn't they say I'd reincarnate into a world I know? Then why am I stuck in this eerie, godforsaken place?" he grumbled, running a frustrated hand through his hair.

Before he could curse his situation further, a sudden ding rang inside his mind—sharp, mechanical, and unexpected.

Ding.

[Binding to the host in 10 seconds... 9... 8… 3... 2... 1]

[Congratulations to the host for binding with the system created by HIGHER BEINGS.]

[Any information regarding why you are here and what system do will now be transmitted to your brain.]

A moment later, an invisible force slammed into his mind like a tsunami. His hands shot up to his head as white-hot agony burst through his skull. It felt like molten iron was being drilled straight into his brain.

"AAAAHH!!" he screamed as his vision flashed white, waves of memories and foreign information flooded his consciousness.

Every nerve in his body felt like it was being scorched alive.

Brain.exe has stopped responding. Rebooting...

After what felt like an eternity, the pain finally subsided, leaving him panting, drenched in cold sweat. "Damn… that was not a simple transmission," he exhaled shakily. "They could've given me a warning!"

Well… they kind of did.

Taking deep breaths, he tried to process the storm of knowledge now embedded in his brain. As his thoughts began to clear, a sleek, black, transparent screen with golden text materialized before his eyes.

He blinked. "Well, hello, mysterious floating screen."

Now, why was he in this void?Correction: it wasn't a void at all. It was his deep consciousness.

The truth was more jarring. He was supposed to reincarnate but he had been in a car accident.

His new parents survived—but they were in a coma. His 13-year-old self had been declared brain dead

Due to the emergency, the system had been forced to awaken him early. He frowned, his chest tightening. "So, I'm basically on life support… My body is alive, but my mind was a blank slate until now."

As he mulled over this bizarre situation, another realization hit him like a slap.

"Wait... why didn't I reincarnate as a baby? Shouldn't I have started over from birth?"

The system answered without prompting:

[Newborns lack full bodily control. Most of their organs are underdeveloped, and their senses, brain, and vocal cords aren't fully matured. Reincarnating as a baby would mean being trapped for an entire year, just watching]

[As for not reincarnating you for next decade to not raise any suspicions so best time was when puberty hit humans]

"Fair point… It would be hell to be stuck crying like an idiot with no way to communicate." He shuddered at the mental image.

The system then elaborated. HIGHER BEINGS had divided his soul into two parts—one blank, designed to reincarnate naturally without memories. The other, containing his consciousness, remained locked deep within until the planned merge at age fourteen technically I will be in 24 days. But the accident had disrupted everything. The system had no choice but to wake him up prematurely.

"So I was supposed to merge at fourteen, but fate threw me a curveball… figures."

Now—what did this system actually do? As he studied the floating screen, a grin slowly crept onto his face. The system, created by higher beings, gave him access to templates—preset power systems based on fictional characters.

There were two types: Normal and Special.

Normal templates granted him a character's powers, skills, abilities, and weapons—but not their unique bonds. For example, receiving Naruto's normal template wouldn't include Kurama. Same went for Rimuru Tempest.

Special templates, on the other hand, were enhanced packages—complete versions or unique powers. But they were rare. Very rare.

"So no overpowered freebies? Yeah, no surprise there. If I got Rimuru enhance version, I'd be a walking apocalypse."Rimuru in Marvel: Galactus who? You mean snack.

They wanted him to become a savior. A beacon of balance in the nexus they call. Here, characters who survived by luck wouldn't exist. Everything was real. But some protagonists retained their plot armor, so at least not everything would be stacked against him.

Then came the bombshell revelation. As he gained strength and absorbed more templates, he would eventually reach the qualifications to wield powers of the higher beings themselves.

Each Beings stronger than the One Above All. Stronger than Zeno. Stronger than The Presence.

"Wait, what?! You're telling me I could surpass them?!" His voice cracked in disbelief. "That's insane!"

[YES.] system replied nonchantly.

He exhaled slowly, trying to grasp the magnitude of that possibility. "Holy crap… I'm aiming for godhood. No—something beyond godhood. What even is beyond the One Above All?!" One Above All's therapist: "And how does that make you feel?"

Maybe those higher beings didn't even exist in the same dimensional structure. Like Dormammu in the Dark Dimension. Sure, he could rule there—but the One Above All could erase him with a mere thought. The higher beings operated even beyond that level.

And no one knew how many of them there were. He recalled the text he had read on the screen before his transmigration. Each line had invoked a different emotion. But the final one—a line filled with karmic energy—had hit the deepest.

At this point, he'd learned to roll with the insanity. At last, his attention returned to the glowing screen displaying his new identity and system stats:

[NAME: ALEX JONES] – 13 yr

[TEMPLATE: NONE]

[POWER LEVEL: TOO WEAK TO MEASURE]

[SKILLS/ENERGY: NONE]

[DRAW: 1]

[MISSIONS: NONE *CLICK TO EXPAND*]

[SYSTEM POINTS: 10,000]

[SYSTEM MALL] – refreshes every 4 months in main world time

[GIFTS: {SYSTEM SPACE}, {SYSTEM INVENTORY}, {ENHANCEMENT POTION}]

"All right, let's break this down," he said, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "One template draw, points to spend, and some pretty cool gifts... Not bad."

The system also had two types of missions:

Triggered Missions

Otherworldly Missions

Triggered Missions are primarily generated based on the choices I make in life—like deciding my goals, actions, or direction. These missions act as events, pushing me forward with specific objectives, offering motivation, and of course, rewards. The rewards usually come in the form of System Points.

Otherworldly missions allowed him to travel into fictional worlds—expanding his horizons beyond his current reality.

The world he was in now was considered his main world. To advance, he needed to complete at least two templates. Once he assimilated 70% of the first one, he'd be eligible to draw again. Completing two additional templates would open the path to another world. Otherworlds would be chosen based on the template i got.

And in this new life, his name… was Alex Jones.New life, new name, new body—same old soul.

Quite a rhyme, huh?

His father was Edward Jones. His mother, Sandhya Jones. He was half-Indian, half-American—a beautiful mix of two worlds. But right now, none of that mattered.

A sharp pang twisted in his chest. Even in this life… he wouldn't get to see his parents' smiling faces.

God really said: "Let's copy-paste the pain into your next life too." His lips curled into a bitter smile—well I did raise the flag though

In his past life, they had died. In this one, they were in a coma. What a cruel joke. Multiverse: "Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Trauma."

His fists clenched at his sides. The pressure grounded him, yet it couldn't dull the ache inside.

No. Crying wouldn't change anything. But maybe… a few memes might. He inhaled slowly, deeply. What a cliché fate for a so-called savior.

But self-pity wouldn't help. If this was his reality—then he'd carve a new path.

His parents might not wake up to see him grow…But when they did—he would make damn sure they'd be proud. Shifting his gaze on the panel. Now, onto the gifts:

{System Space} – his personal dimension. Complete with training rooms, a research facility, and a futuristic med bay. Time ratio: 2:1.

Limitation: Cannot be accessed while under attack.

Basically, a budget version of the Batcave—with premium time dilation.

"Damn, this is amazing!… Wait, can I put Mom and Dad in it?"

[NO. SYSTEM SPACE IS NOT READY FOR TRANSMITTING SOULS THAT ARE ALREADY DAMAGED.]

"Damaged? What do you mean? Is there a problem with their souls?"

[I HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO ANSWER.]

He glared at the screen for a few seconds before calming his rising panic."So... only the higher beings know about damaged souls," he muttered, shifting his focus to another gift.

{System Inventory} – capable of storing any inanimate objects

SIZE- upto mount everest

{Enhancement Potion} – grants wall-level strength, near-photographic memory, and peak human intelligence.

More importantly: removes personality influence from templates.(AUTHOR NOTE - IMPORTANT READ AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER)

No Batman emo hours. No Hisoka weirdness. No Dio god complex. "Oh hell yeah.

No 'I am Vengeance' brooding or becoming some battle-crazed maniac. Nice touch." But even with all these perks, one last question hung in the air like a guillotine.

"All right, System… which world am I in?"

[The first world, or the main world you are in right now, is: MARVEL.]

His grin froze. Oh… shit.

A cold chill ran down his spine. Reality slammed into him like a freight train.

He is in Marvel.

Where gods, monsters, and cosmic horrors lurked behind every corner.

Where people got obliterated just for existing in the wrong place.

Where reality-warping lunatics roamed free.

A single bead of sweat rolled down his temple.

"I… am so screwed."

**Author Note: Important: Please Read**

In order to help readers comprehend what the system offers the main character, this chapter includes all of the system's information. It will also be beneficial for understanding the system in future chapters.

I have created my own power scaling system, which I will explain below. I've included examples and explanations for clarity. Please bear with me—I haven't read the comics, so I hope you won't hold that against me. I initially planned to explain this in the next chapter, but I feel it's essential to provide this information now.

**Power Scaling:** these levels are also divided within 3 stages lower(L) , middle(M) and upper (U).Some beings, despite belonging to a higher power level, can be defeated by those from a supposedly lower tier. Power alone doesn't always dictate victory—skill, strategy, and sheer unpredictability can flip the script.

- **Human Level:**Bruce lee[U]

- **Peak Human Level:** Captain America (MCU)[U]

- **Wall Level:** Someone who can destroy a wall with one punch. I know you might say that Captain America(MCU) can also destroy walls, but I'm referring to someone who can blast the wall away entirely. Captain (MCU) can crack or put a hole in the wall, but he cannot obliterate it completely. Captain America (comic) [M]

- **Building Level:** She-Hulk(MCU)[U]

- **Street Level:** JUGGERNAUT(DEADPOOL MOVIE) [M]

- **City Level:** Dofflamingo[U]

- **Island/mountain Level:** Edward Newgate (a.k.a. Whitebeard)[U]

- **Country Level:** Madara Uchiha with Rinnegan and reanimate body state [L] (cause of infinite chakra in reanimate body)

- **Continent Level:** Yamamoto Genryusai (peak)[M]

- **Surface Level:** Vector(toaru)[U]

- **Planetary Level:** Superman (Christopher Reed version)[U]

- **Stellar Level:** Odin (comic)[U]

- **Galaxy Level:** Celestials[M]

- **Cluster Level:** Rune king Thor (Comic version)[M]

- **Single Universe Level:** Rimuru tempest (light novel)[M]

- **Multiversal Level:** Beings who can alter concepts, such as Infinity, Eternity, Annihilation, and Phoenix (referring to the complete entity, not just fragments of power in hosts, like Jean Grey is a host, not Phoenix herself).[U] ALL OF THEM

- **Above Reality:** Your reality won't affect them. The Beyonder and the Living Tribunal

- **Omni King:** above all others in their MULTIVERSE - One Above All, the presence and Zeno.

- **Omni God:** Higher beings. The ones who provided the system to the main character.

- **XXXXXXXXX:** I don't even know OR might?

I hope this helps clarify things!

I am just saying with examples that they can destroy the said level using about 80-90% of their power with quite a effort.
