Thomas boarded on the zeppelin, for his journey to Tarant. There were many passenger on board the zeppelin, infact there were mages aboard the vehicle as well. It is well known fact that mystical energies cause technological vehicle to have critical failures, because of this mages are either not allowed to travel in it or travel in it by sitting farther from the vehicle's engine. Mages of whatever level of power are not allowed to sit on automobiles and buses, in trains, however, if mage's magical aptitude is low, then, they are allowed to sit in any compartments of train, including the first compartment which is usually only carry the people with neutral and technological aptitude, but if mage's magical aptitude is high but below 70, they are forced to sit the compartments in the back of the train also known as mage's caboose, however if the mage's magical aptitude is high and above 70, they might not even allowed to board the train at all. Zeppelin which is comparable to automobiles and buses is also something that cannot be boarded by mages, but IFS zephyr is a special zeppelin that utilizes advanced technology, and it work perfectly even if there are thousands of mages with magical aptitude equal to 100, of couse the mages are requested to sit away from engine not because it will critical failure but rather the presence of advanced technology which strengthen the nature in incredible level cause mages to become seriously ill, and if the mage is a full-blooded elf then he/she might even be hospitalized. Everthing was going very well, the mages, technologists and other people in ship were decent people perhaps like Thomas, they are all Arlandians, which explain why they are getting along very well, even talking to each other, unlike the ones from Unified Kingdom, who will eventually end up in quarrel due to their opposite aptitudes. Thomas who was getting bored decided to pass time by looking the surrounding from window. Suddenly, a strange noise appear perhaps of a machine, which become louder and louder, two of them infact. The noise was coming from two unknown flying machine flying toward the zeppelin, the driver of both flying machine were half-ogres, which is odd as although half ogre's are smarter than a full-blooded ogre, they are not intelligent enough to drive such complex vehicle. Issac Zapruder, a human photographer, who was at the roof of the zeppelin took to photo of those two vehicles, believing them to be ordinary travellers, not knowing those vehicles were combat vehicles, the driver of the vehicle fired the explosives ammunitations on the zeppelin, poor Issac who happened to be hit by ones of the explosive dies instantly, all the passenger in the zeppelin were also panicked, fortunately some passangers with ranged weapon reached the roof and fought back the attacker, these people were the magical bowmen, technological bowmen and gunslingers. These people fought back that attacker, but the vehicles were small and fast, none of the arrows hit the vehicle, even bullets of gunslinger couldn't defeat the attacker. Fortunately there was a necromacer among the passenger as well, he cast a necromantic black spell, harm spell, which succesfully hit one of the attacker, after hit by the spell multiple times, he died and hit vehicle crashed with one of the propeller of the zeppelin, destroying the vehicle, taking down the the driver with it, the other attacked continuously fired it's ammunitation on the zeppelin successfully damaging it, the damage caused one of the zeppelin's engine to burst, the explosion also hit the other attacker's vehicle, both zeppelin and the flying vehicle falls crashing to the ground. Thomas who was in the zeppelin was seriously wounded, he had weapon, but it was a regular sword, a melee weapon, it cannot defeat the enemies from longer distance, so, he was unable to aid bowmen and the gunslingers. Fortunately, back in Arland, he created few cure all medicine, a medicine made from the knowledge of both herbology discipline, capable of fully healing a person and well as restoring the fatique along with curing all poison instantly. Since, Thomas was fatally wounded, he needed an instant healing to save himself. Thanks, to the all curing drug, Thomas survived, even pain from injury is gone.
"That was close, if I hadn't made that drug back home I would have been dead by now", Thomas said to himself after wiping his sweat.
Thomas looked aroung hoping that there might br other survivors, who might also narrowly escaped death like him. Suddenly he heard a voice.
"Help, help me pleae.", someone spoke
"Must be a survivor, I must save him", Thomas thought
Thomas pull out the debris and foung a gnome below.
"Thank you my friend, I don't have much time, you must find the 'boy'....find the 'boy' and give him back his ring", gnome said while giving a mysterious ring to Thomas.
"And he will know what needs to be done (cough....cough)", gnome continue speaking before coughing.
"Listen....listen me, we had no other choice, we had to do what he said, it was the matter of time that our work is almost finish and 'THE EVIL', you can't imagine, he is coming back to destroy everything....everthing and everyone", gnome spoke in sad tone.
"Just find the 'boy', tell him that I escaped and came back to warn, he will know what to do, you my friend, it's all up to you.....", the gnome spoke before taking his last breath.
Thomas checked the gnome's body, and found the passport his the gnome's id, the gnome's name is Preston Radcliff, he seems to be an gnomish businessman according to his outfit and id. Thomas checked the ring and found out that it was an ordinary ring, no magical enchantment or technological enhancement on the ring. Still as a decent human being, he decides to deliver this ring to the 'boy', and to find out the motive behind the attack on the zeppelin. Suddenly he heard a footstep coming toward him, Thomas unsheath his sword and decides to face the incoming stranger.
