Chapter 11 – Fogmoor Ridge: The Island That Whispers
The warm memories of Fanservice Island were already fading into the salty wind as the Waifu Maru cruised through thick morning fog. Ayman stood at the bow, arms crossed, eyes scanning the mist.
"Feels like something's... watching us," he muttered.

[Objective: Discover the source of the strange fog. Defeat the island's guardian. Reward: 1,000,000 Beli + 1 Gacha Summon Ticket]
[Warning: Difficulty – High]
His heart skipped. "A million Beli? This arc's got some budget."
Behind him, the girls were preparing themselves. Android 18 checked her arm circuits. Yoruichi tied her hair into a high ponytail. Esdeath calmly sheathed her blade in ice. Tsunade, however, was asleep on deck, a sake bottle resting on her chest.
As they approached the island, the mist grew thicker, until visibility dropped to almost nothing.
Suddenly—CRACK!
The Waifu Maru jolted violently as something slammed into the hull.
"What the hell was that?" Ayman shouted.
A shadow shifted in the fog—massive, slow-moving, and dragging something across the water.
"Tch. We're being tested," Esdeath muttered. "Classic setup. Big fog. Hidden beast. It's practically screaming first boss battle."
They docked cautiously at a rickety wooden pier half-sunken into the fog-covered shore. The island itself looked like something out of a horror story—dead trees, black moss, and crumbling ruins cloaked in eerie silence. Even the birds didn't make a sound.
Yoruichi sniffed the air. "There's a presence here. I don't like it."
"Great," Ayman muttered. "I barely got over the last sunburn. Now it's Scooby-Doo Island of Death."
They moved through the ruins, cautiously. In the center of the island stood a massive stone structure—an ancient cathedral choked in vines and etched with strange symbols. Ayman placed a hand on the stone.
Suddenly, the runes lit up blood red.

[Recommendation: DO NOT FIGHT ALONE]
A massive bell tolled deep within the cathedral.
Then the doors opened.
A figure emerged—tall, gaunt, draped in fog like a living shadow. His skin was pale gray, his eyes hollow, and his voice echoed like wind through a grave.
"So... another fool steps into the Fogborn's domain."
"Who wrote this guy's dialogue? Shakespeare?" Ayman muttered under his breath.
Morvados raised a hand, and the fog around them thickened, forming into claws.
"Let your soul be claimed by silence!"
Before Ayman could react, Yoruichi flash-stepped and knocked him out of harm's way.
"Less sarcasm, more dodging!" she snapped.
Esdeath leapt into battle, ice rising from the ground like spears. Morvados snapped his fingers and shattered them with a wave of fog.
"His fog can disperse abilities!" she shouted. "This guy's no joke!"
Tsunade finally arrived, groaning. "I swear to Kami, if I miss my nap for nothing—!"
She punched the ground, shattering the cathedral floor. But the fog closed over the cracks, healing them instantly.
Ayman ducked behind cover. His heart pounded.
[System Suggestion: Share power with 1 summon?]
[Available: Yoruichi, Tsunade, Esdeath, Android 18]
He chose Yoruichi.
[Power Share – 60 Seconds: You have inherited Yoruichi's speed]
His body surged with energy. The world slowed. Fog claws came at him in slow motion—and he dodged them like leaves in the wind.
Ayman charged. "Let's see how you handle my speed!"
He appeared beside Morvados in a blink, launching a wild uppercut.
WHAM!
The villain staggered back—more stunned that Ayman had landed a hit than from the blow itself.
"You—! You're not just a fool. You're a reckless fool!"
"I prefer eccentric adventurer," Ayman grinned.
The summons closed in. Esdeath trapped the fog with subzero crystals. Tsunade slammed a fog beast into rubble. Android 18 blasted the cathedral roof apart, letting sunlight stream in.
"His fog's weakening!" she called.
"Then let's finish this!" Ayman shouted.
He shared power again—this time with Tsunade—and his strength doubled.
Together, they charged. Fog claws melted away under chakra and ki. A final blow—a combined punch from Ayman and Tsunade—sent Morvados flying into the altar.
BOOM!
The fog vanished instantly.

[New Mission Incoming…]
Ayman fell backward, panting on the floor of the ruined cathedral.
Yoruichi flopped down beside him. "You actually kept up this time."
Esdeath gave him an approving nod. "Not bad. For a Captain with no real powers."
Android 18 sat on a broken pillar, arms crossed. "Acceptable."
Tsunade handed him a sake bottle. "To victory?"
He raised it. "To surviving insane boss fights with women way stronger than me."
[System Notification: Gacha Available – Would you like to summon now?]
Ayman grinned.
"Hmm..No."
