"Thirty million volts! Thunder Beast!!"
Zzzt, zzzt, zzzt...
The White White Sea's sky was engulfed in lightning, with Yasa's figure rising and falling within it like the Thunder God reborn in the mortal realm!
As he increased the electrical current, a vivid Thunder Beast emerged from the thunder, roaring deafeningly as its cry shook the heavens.
ROAR!
The Thunder Beast materialized a kilometer away, carrying tremendous momentum as it flew forth before gradually dissipating.
So far, Yasa could unleash up to sixty million volts of lightning, comparable to Enel's Thunder Dragon technique.
However, his technique's destructive power was several times greater than Enel's, making direct comparisons meaningless.
"Hm?" Immersed in developing his Devil Fruit ability, Yasa's heart stirred as his Observation Haki detected an anomaly in the White White Sea.
A particularly ferocious serpent-like Sea King had mistaken him for prey, preparing to breach the surface and attack.
"So it's not some Sky Island balloon-like Sea Beast, but a Sea King washed up by the currents? You're today's dinner..." Yasa shrugged nonchalantly, his palm clenching the void as he roared, "Thunder God's Spear!"
A lightning spear crackled to life, its azure form pulsing with electric fury. He whirled it in a practiced flourish before driving it downward with the force of divine judgment. The spearhead spat crackling arcs as it pierced the sea surface with terrifying speed.
Simultaneously, the Sea King in the White White Sea roared, its massive jaws gaping as it breached the water—only to appear precisely where Yasa's spear struck, completely unaware of the impending collision.
Zzzt!
The Thunder God's Spear demonstrated its piercing power in brutal efficiency, slicing through the creature's flesh as easily as paper. A single thrust left the Sea King impaled through and through...
The searing heat from the excessive voltage left irreversible burns across the creature's flesh. The air filled with the aroma of roasting meat, which quickly turned to charred smoke.
Yasa felt a twinge of regret—burned flesh was wasted food.
But there was no choice. Powerful damage always came with destructive force. The Sea King's scorched flesh would have to be cut away.
The snake-shaped Sea King, its head pierced through, floated lifeless on the surface.
"Test the final technique, then go eat dinner!" Yasa slowly closed his eyes.
If this worked, he'd gain both long-range strike capability and rapid enemy-clearing power. That would make attacking God's Island Apayado virtually guaranteed success.
Sensing the omnipresent electrons in the air, Yasa pushed his Observation Haki to its limit. Every living creature, air current, and ocean flow within five kilometers became visible to his "eyes."
Controlling the electrons to gather, condense, and collide, Yasa suddenly opened his eyes and shouted:
"God's Judgment!"
A massive pillar of lightning suddenly appeared five kilometers away on the sea, descending from the sky to strike the water.
BOOM!
The sea was blasted open, its water vaporizing into steam or dispersing as oxygen into the air.
"It worked!" Yasa's heart swelled with joy, a smile creeping across his face.
This technique was none other than Enel's divine punishment used to judge the Sky Islanders. With Observation Haki enveloping Sky Island, any lawbreakers would be struck by lightning.
However, Yasa had improved upon this method. His version was ten times more convenient than Enel's, allowing him to shape the lightning into any form he desired.
For example...
"God's Judgment - Thunderbird!"
Screech...
The lightning transformed into a Thunderbird, not only more powerful but also easier to control.
"Hahaha! Mission accomplished. Dinner time, then Electrode Enhancement, sleep, retrieve the Ark Maxim blueprints, and finally... Angel Island!"
Yasa roared with laughter as he hauled the Sea King floating on the surface back to his residence on Birka Island.
A satisfying meal was prepared - the Sea King's meat was exquisite, having developed a robust texture from its deep-sea existence, rich in energy.
After patting his full stomach, Yasa lay on his wooden bed to begin his daily Electrode Enhancement routine.
One month later, on a certain day...
Deep in the night, when all was silent, stars shone upon Birka Island.
A figure emerged swiftly from the forest, heading toward the temple at the center of the residential area.
Under the starlight, the newcomer's features became clear: long black hair cascaded down his back, his eyebrows sharp as blades, and lightning danced in his bright eyes. His tall, well-proportioned frame belonged to none other than Yasa.
After another month of training, he could no longer endure the mundane days on Birka. The madness in his bones refused to be suppressed here, and even his daily growth in strength couldn't quench his yearning for the sea.
He needed the design plans for the "Ark Maxim" to reach Angel Island and conquer God's Island Apayado.
Upon entering the towering temple at the heart of Birka, Yasa brazenly lit up his lampshell without concern for witnesses. What did he care if anyone saw? Who could stop him?
At worst, they might deliver God's Judgment - a mere Thunderbird! But this island was full of weaklings. Yasa was confident no one here could withstand even a single bolt of his lightning.
Climbing the stairs formed by Island Clouds, his hand trembled with power. With a surge of energy, he blasted the temple gates open with a thunderous roar.
"Who goes there?" The sleepy guards were instantly jolted awake. A dozen winged Birdmen surrounded Yasa, spears leveled at his chest.
"Young man, what's your business here?" demanded a Captain-like guard in a deep voice.
"Captain, why waste breath? Just take this wingless freak down!" another guard growled.
The soldiers around him nodded in agreement. If you woke them from their sleep, don't expect to leave unscathed—especially a wingless monster like this?
"I'm here to retrieve the design plans for the Ark 'Maxim'. Are you sure you want to stop me?" Yasa squinted, his voice casual as he spoke. He had no time to waste on these low-level lackeys.
"How dare you, a monster, covet the design plans for our Birka's greatest treasure, the 'Maxim'!" The captain roared, his face flushing with anger. This was their ship to return to the Infinite Land!
"Kid, are you going to surrender yourself or shall we help you?" one of the half-awake soldiers asked lazily. "Surrendering might lessen your sins. Otherwise, your fate is certain—exile by the Cloud Float Current!"
"Oh, exile?" Yasa waved his hand impatiently. "I don't have time for your nonsense. If you can survive my lightning, then consider yourself lucky!"
"Ten million volts! Thunderbird!"
A massive bird of blue lightning suddenly appeared, its wings spread wide as it charged forth with devastating force.
"Ah!"
Screams erupted as over a dozen guards were instantly reduced to charred remains. The sole survivor, left trembling in shock, wet himself and fled from the temple, teeth chattering as he shouted:
"Monster! Monster! Help me!"
