The grand halls of the Phenex estate shimmered with breathtaking opulence. Golden flames danced along enchanted chandeliers suspended high above, casting a warm and regal light across marble floors etched with ancient runes. Banners bearing the blazing sigil of House Phenex an immortal Phenex rising from fire draped proudly from towering pillars. The air was thick with magic and anticipation.
Tonight was no ordinary celebration. Riser Phenex had achieved what few devils his age ever could he had completed his peerage. A feat that resonated across the Underworld like a herald's trumpet.
Nobles in fine silks and flowing cloaks mingled with warriors in polished armor and robed dignitaries, all drawn by the spectacle of Riser's rise. The elite of devil society stood gathered under one roof, their eyes fixed not on the highborn lords, but on the young man standing at the heart of it all.
Riser Phenex.
Flanked by his peerage each member a unique powerhouse in their own right he stood tall, his golden eyes calm yet fierce. The young son of house Phenex now radiated poise, his presence magnetic.
Daryun, silent and steadfast in obsidian armor, stood behind him like a living wall of steel. Milim Nava, draped in bright silks, bounced excitedly on her toes beside him, grinning wide. Artoria Pendragon, graceful and noble, rested her hand on the hilt of her sword, eyes sweeping the crowd with knightly vigilance. Thalia lounged casually with a glass of fruit wine, her smirk sharp and knowing. Merlin mingling with the noble women of each house. Kaijin chugging a massive mug of pure alcohol. Nago to big to be inside the estate rested next to kaijin forge.
They were not just warriors. They were a family. And tonight, the Underworld saw it for themselves.
From the staircase above descended Lord Phenex, his golden cloak billowing behind him, followed closely by Lady Phenex, regal in crimson velvet. As they approached, the hall quieted.
"Riser," Lord Phenex began, voice deep and measured, "tonight you stand not as my son, but as a leader whose achievements have echoed through every corner of our society."
He paused, his eyes scanning the assembled peerage.
"You've gathered powerful allies. But more than that, you've inspired loyalty, trust, and unity. These things cannot be bought, inherited, or faked."
Riser bowed his head slightly. "Thank you, Father. Your words mean more than you know."
Lady Phenex smiled warmly. "We have watched you grow from a proud boy into a man worthy of the Phenex crest. You've led with strength, yes but also with compassion. We are proud."
A smaller figure darted forward, her amber eyes shining with emotion.
"Big Brother!" Ravel flung herself at him, and Riser chuckled as he caught her in a warm hug. "You've become amazing! Everyone always talks about how powerful and smart you are!"
"And you," Riser said with a smile, brushing her hair fondly, "have become my brightest star. Your support keeps me grounded."
Ruval the last to congratulate him didn't need to say a word his eyes said what needed to be said already. How proud he was.
The moment was tender, personal. But it was soon followed by a swell of applause as the guests clapped, the Four Satans themselves among them.
Sirzechs Lucifer stepped forward, his crimson hair like a blaze in the light. "Riser Phenex," he said, tone filled with both authority and warmth, "your transformation is nothing short of remarkable. Power is important but wisdom, loyalty, and leadership these define true greatness."
Riser nodded respectfully. "Coming from you, Lord Sirzechs, that's an honor I won't take lightly."
Serafall Leviathan twirled forward with a bright grin. "Kyaaa~! Riser-kun! I absolutely love your peerage! Milim chan is so energetic! You've got style and substance!"
Milim waved cheerfully. "Hiya~! We fought like crazy the first time we met! He's got guts!"
Ajuka Beelzebub, arms folded, smiled slightly. "Your peerage isn't just strong it's balanced. You've chosen allies who challenge one another to grow. That speaks to your foresight."
Even the ever reserved Falbium Asmodeus gave a rare nod. "Efficient. Disciplined. Effective. You've made your mark, Riser."
The music resumed in the background, soft and elegant, and the guests began to mingle again. But at the center, Riser's peerage stood close, forming a semi circle as they began to share their stories.
Milim hopped onto a nearby table, raising her voice with excitement. "I still remember our first fight! He tried to go full power right away I respected that! He wasn't afraid of me, even when I unleashed my draconic aura!"
"You tried too destroyed a small mountain," Riser muttered under his breath, prompting a chuckle from Artoria.
Milim winked. "Details~!"
Artoria spoke next, her voice calm and clear. "When I was adrift forgotten by time and fate Riser offered me purpose again. Not as a knight to be wielded, but as a comrade. He treated me as an equal, and that honor means more to me than any title."
Thalia, swirling her wine lazily, added with a crooked smile, "I joined for the chaos. Stayed for the man. He's infuriatingly noble for a devil. And I say that with genuine affection."
Daryun nodded slowly. "He inspires. He listens. He leads not by fear, but by belief. That is why I stand with him."
Merlin the ever flirt just shot him a wink and a kiss
Kaijin raised his cup cheering already drunk
Each voice added a thread to the tapestry of Riser's legacy. And slowly, the celebration shifted from a display of prestige to a heartfelt reunion of souls bound by trials and trust.
Later in the night, as the final toast was raised and the music dimmed, Riser stepped forward to address the crowd. The hall fell silent.
He stood tall, surrounded by those he had fought for and with.
"This peerage this family," he said, voice strong and sincere, "isn't just a symbol of my power. It is the result of every trial we faced, every bond we forged, and every choice we made together."
He looked out at the sea of faces nobles, warriors, rulers and met their eyes without fear.
"I was born into privilege. But I've come to understand that true strength lies not in birthright, but in what you build. In who you stand beside. Tonight is not just my triumph. It is our triumph."
He turned to his peerage. "To each of you thank you. For your trust. For your strength. For being part of this journey."
A quiet moment passed. Then the hall erupted in thunderous applause, flames from the chandeliers flaring in response to the roaring emotion in the room. Glasses clinked, laughter rang, and for that one night, the Phenex soared unbound, unbroken, and reborn.
