Scene came back to Robert.
Guru Ashoka was suffocating as he was gripped by that beast through his neck.
"Wh… Who are you…?" Ashoka asked.
"Hm, who am I? I'm Krahnyte, a shadow devil. But for now, I am your death, old man," the beast declared in a deep and devastating voice. "I am just disappointed. I have heard the tale of the legendary Guru Ashoka, the immortal one living for more than 100 years, the founder of the Enomy association — but now he is struggling to take a breath."

Kal's eyes opened, his vision back.
He saw a humanoid or a huge human-like figure, having grey skin with black striping patterns, wearing a warrior's armor without a chestplate.
He tried to move his body, but he couldn't, as he was stuck between rocks and debris.
"Bullshit, I can't move. Damn rock. But Guru Ashoka is in danger. I need to do something before it's too late," he thought to himself.
At that time, Liza was still unconscious.
At that moment, Krahnyte's face fell as he felt pain in his right hand. Ashoka fell to the ground.
He realized that his right hand was cut off — but it was not bleeding.
Seeing that, Krahnyte started laughing recklessly. "Hahaha! So, you are the warrior — sorry, bastard — who killed my rival. Due to which, I lost my long-loved dream to kill him."
His expression changed as he was in flaming rage. He stomped his foot on the ground.
"Now I will destroy you to gain my dream!"
Suddenly, an iron rod dropped beside his left shoulder.
It was Robert who threw it.
"You talk too much, man or beast, whatever you are. Just be quiet, man. You scared positionless," Robert declared while poking his finger inside his ear.
Ashoka steadied himself and, taking a deep breath, he rushed toward Kal and Liza.
"I need to save them," he thought to himself.
He used his full strength (in injured condition) and removed the rocks, freeing Kal and Liza.
"Liza! Liza, are you alright? Wake up, please!" Ashoka shouted.
Kal stood up and saw that Robert was already on his feet, standing in his neutral karma mode, facing the beast head-on.
Krahnyte started laughing recklessly.
"Arunakreon, the King of Devils, was defeated by you? A piece of shit? That's just a—"
His tone suddenly changed to dark and deadly.
"A waste of power and time."
Suddenly, Kal noticed something terrifying—
Krahnyte's cut-off hand was missing.
"What are you searching for, brat?" Krahnyte declared, glaring at Kal and showing his fully recovered right hand.
"What the heck!" Kal shouted in disbelief.
"Not again, man. He can also regenerate,"
Robert said in amazement.
"Look, I am immortal. I can't be killed.
But you can be," said Krakhnyte.
"Then what I can do, na? I don't care,"
Robert replied while lying on the ground and cleaning his nose.
"What the hell are you doing, Robert?"
Kal barked.

Neutral started smiling, punching his own fist.

to himself while shouting in pain.
His head was bleeding, and his right arm
was covered in blood.
But Liza's condition was way worse.
She was unconscious, her left arm was severely injured,
and an iron rod was snapped inside her stomach.
Her breath was weak but stable.
This shows she was alive.
Kal's eyes were filled with tears and guilt.
"I am just useless. I can't even help my best friend who is fighting for our life.
I can't do anything," Kal groaned in sorrow and guilt.

Krakhnyte appeared from a smoke and shadow.

Kal saw that the man was Ashoka.
Ashoka's cloth was covered with dust and was tear by from some place.
"Kal, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. But I would be if you do nothing now rather than blaming yourself," Ashoka consoled him.
"But what can I do?" he replied, slamming his hand on the ground.
Ashoka started laughing boldly.
"Yes, you could believe in yourself. You have used it before, as Liza have told me," Ashoka sigh.
Kal looked at Ashoka in confusion.
"What?" Kal asked him in confusion.
