Chapter 33 - Pyon II

Either the Hunter Association had sent her here for some task, or she had come to the Moros Ruins out of personal interest.

Pyon, halfway through her examination, excitedly took several photos of the plate with her phone. Akira stared at Pyon phone, a look of surprise on his face.

Her phone was also pink, with rabbit ear decorations. But that wasn't what surprised Akira. Under Akira "Gyo," the phone was enveloped in a pink aura—this phone was a product of materialized aura.

Pokedex ability activated!

Name: Pyon Strength: B

Nen Ability: The All-Knowing Phone, Conjurer Type Can materialize a phone, the appearance of which can be customized. The phone can function normally even without an internet connection, possessing all the standard features of a regular phone.

Items photographed by the phone can have their related information explored by expending Nen energy. The more mysterious the item and the less known about it, the more Nen energy is required for exploration.

Indeed, this phone is the manifestation of Pyon Nen ability!

This also explains why Pyon suddenly started taking numerous photos of the memorial plate. She must have been using her Nen ability to verify the authenticity of the memorial plate.

This Nen ability is undeniably something Pyon would develop. It not only aids her in her field of interest, ancient documents, but also satisfies her constant need to use her phone.

Presumably, such a fitting Nen ability was born from a very strong will during its development.

As for Pyon being one of the Twelve Zodiacs yet only having a B-level strength, Akira roughly understands the reason. The strength in the pokedex likely refers to combat strength.

One's inherent strength is part of it, and the strength of one Nen ability is another. Pyon Nen capacity or her advanced Nen techniques probably surpass of those like pete from the Harimu ruins.

However, Pyon Nen ability doesn't have a direct effect in combat. Unlike Pete insect swarm, which can be used as an attack method, hence the same rating as Pete.

I remember in the original work, Hisoka rated Pyon strength at 77 points, which is not low.

As a member of the Hunter Association Twelve Zodiacs, the primary consideration is the contribution each makes in their respective fields, but they certainly need a certain level of personal strength.

If anyone sees Pyon as just a soft girl with a non-offensive Nen ability and underestimates her, they will surely regret it. Even without direct offensive effects, Pyon ability is still very formidable. Not to mention its utility in fields like history, given enough time in a battle, she might be able to recount every detail of an enemy Nen ability.

In a world where intelligence warfare is prevalent among hunters, this is undoubtedly an overpowering ability.

As Akira pondered this, Pyon put her pink phone back into her pocket and gently handed the memorial plate to Akira.

"Sir, you're really lucky. This is no ordinary item" Pyon said, her large, watery eyes looking at Akira with a cute expression. She intended to reveal the specific identity of the item.

"A 1655 memorial plate from the Rodo Company" Akira straightforwardly stated.

"A 1655... huh?!" Suddenly, as Akira stated, Pyon instinctively responded, her rabbit ears twitching heavily.

Only after speaking did Pyon realize that the young man before her already knew about the item!

"Sir, do you know what kind of antique this is?" Pyon exclaimed in disbelief, her cherry-red lips slightly parted, her eyes filled with confusion.

She herself had only confirmed the plate identity after a thorough examination with her Nen ability. But it seemed the young man already knew?

"A memorial plate made by the Rodo Company in 1655, extremely rare, especially popular among antique plate collectors" Akira glanced at the astonished Pyon and recited the information about the commemorative plate without missing a word.

"That's right... completely correct!" Pyon listened carefully to Akira introduction of the memorial plate, which matched exactly the information displayed on her phone just moments ago.

Seeing Pyon astonished gaze, Akira had no choice but to explain softly.

"At first, I didn't recognize it either. It was mainly because I detected a faint presence of Nen on it. After getting my hands on it, I confirmed it through some analysis."

Only then did Pyon realize, under the use of "Gyo," that there was no "aura" dissipating from the top of Akira head.

Instead, it was circulating on the surface of his body.

Pyon finally understood—the man before her was also a Nen user. Under the use of "Gyo" a genuine antique was discovered among a pile of counterfeit ones.
