The recording flickers into life.

A crackled image.

Dust particles caught in amber light.

A man stands at the center of the frame — lean, sharp-eyed, his face gaunt with knowledge. His robes are gray, not crimson.

His voice begins calm. But not stable.

"My name is Cassian Velin.

Founder of the Order of Helix.

Or maybe... just the first to break it."

He exhales shakily.

"If you are hearing this, then I've failed.

Or worse — I've succeeded."

He begins to pace.

The background flickers: diagrams drawn on stone, the spiral burned into old parchment, shattered memory glass stacked like bones.

"We believed we were shaping the future.

Instead, we opened the door to what comes after humanity.

What waits beneath the spiral isn't a god.

It's not evil.

It's... truth.

Too raw for the human mind to survive intact."

He stops. Looks into the lens — into you.

"We didn't create the spiral.

We found it.

Buried in the bones of dead languages, encoded in symbols that predate thought.

The serpent is not a metaphor.

It's a structure.

A system of recursion. A living cycle."

His hand trembles as he lifts a broken piece of a mask — the same shard Elder IX kept.

"We wear masks to survive the spiral.

Because those who see it with naked eyes... don't remain whole."

"That's what happened to Nine."

He goes still.

"Elder IX was once my student. A prodigy.

He saw too much.

And when the spiral touched him, he didn't break.

He calcified."

"He doesn't kill out of cruelty.

He kills to preserve the spiral.

Because if it shatters completely... everything collapses."

A low static hum begins to grow behind the audio.

Velin steps closer.

His voice drops.

"There is an Axis.

One born not to preserve the spiral...

But to end it."

"A living fracture.

A recursion loop with a soul.

A contradiction."

"If you're him…

If you're the Axis…

Then I have only one warning left."

The screen flickers. Velin's face flickers with it.

Then it stabilizes. One last time.

"You can burn the spiral.

But make sure you know what's beneath it."

"Some doors… aren't meant to be closed.

But what comes through them must never wear your name."

The audio degrades. His eyes widen — as if seeing something we cannot.

He speaks one final word.

"Run."

The feed cuts.
