Tiger watched the mysterious girl leave, still perplexed about her identity. A pat on his shoulder broke his reverie. He turned to see Rose, her eyes narrowed in a mix of amusement and annoyance.
"You know there's a pretty girl right in front of you, right?" Rose said, looking away.
"Oh, where? I don't see anyone," Tiger replied with a sly smile.
Rose's eyes flashed with annoyance, and she stepped on his foot, making him groan in pain.
"Ahh, what was that for?" Tiger hobbled away, holding his foot.
Rose ignored him, but Tiger soon caught up, tapping her shoulder. "Hey, it was a joke. Come on."
Rose brushed his arm off. "It doesn't sound like a joke to me. You've always had a bad sense of humor."
Tiger leaned in, his face close to hers. Rose's cheeks flushed, and she looked away.
Just then, Benjamin woke up, pushing Tiger away with his back. "What's all the noise about?"
Benjamin's eyes widened as he took in the scene. "Oh, I didn't think you'd guys would have already reached that level."
Tiger's face turned bright red as he pulled away from Rose. Benjamin's teasing comments only added to the embarrassment.
"Aren't you guys going to kiss after your long-lost friendship reunion?" Benjamin asked, grinning mischievously.
Tiger grabbed Benjamin's collar. "You planned this, didn't you?"
Benjamin giggled. "I mean, you fell upon a brick wall now, didn't you?"
The room fell silent, and Benjamin's eyes widened in realization. "Oops, I shouldn't have said that."
Rose's smile turned devilish as she picked up a bottle. Tiger let go of Benjamin, covering his face in laughter.
"What did you say about my body?" Rose asked, swinging the bottle.
Benjamin stuttered, "N-nothing, it was an accident."
Rose charged towards him, but Benjamin fainted before she could strike. "Well, at least I didn't touch him," she said, putting the bottle back.
Tiger placed Benjamin on a chair, chuckling. "You might have gone a bit overboard."
The room erupted in laughter, and the tension was broken.
