"Where are you bringing my underpant to?" Samson asked.
"Hmm?" Fiona froze.
She was so nervous that she forgot that she was still holding his underpant in her hand.
"I... I'll take this out and wash it."
"There's no need for that, just send my coat for dry cleaning." Samson took back his thing from her and tossed them onto the shelf. He turned his back to Fiona and said coldly, "Get out."
"Fine." Fiona walked out of the door. She took a deep breath and leaned helplessly against the wall.
She could sense Samson's dislike for her.
No, it was more than mere dislike, He abhorred her.
She was a cautious person, but ever since he showed up, she kept making mistakes.
She suddenly remembered that she had to take Samson's shirtless photos.
Fiona secretly opened the door a crack and peeked at Samson.
He had taken off his shirt, and she could see his prominent abs. He looked skinny with clothes on, but he was actually very muscular.
She took out her cell phone and saw that Samson was looking at the door. She was so frightened that she quickly took a photo and shrunk back.
Then, she heard the sound of the door being locked.
This... Was this because Samson thought that she would peek?
There was an indescribably awkward feeling in her heart. She composed herself before giving the supplies department a call and asking them to send a new pot of bonsai over. She also called the cleaning department and asked them to send a cleaner over.
Twenty minutes later, Samson came out of the bathroom.
He had changed his clothes and washed his hair. His hair was still wet, and there was a sense of mistiness about him. Somehow, he looked quite attractive like this.
Fiona didn't even dare to look at his eyes. She asked amicably, "Mr. Hunt, your breakfast is ready. Do you want to dine in the restaurant, or should l ask them to send the food to your room?"
"Ask them to send the food over."
"I have a meeting at 8:30 a.m., and I won't be around for about two hours. Do you need us to prepare lunch for you?"
"There's no need. I'll go out for lunch." Samson sat down in front of his desk.
"What about dinner?"
"Miss Saison." Samson looked at Fiona coldly.
"You're merely my room manager, and not my butler. All you need to do is take care of matters related to the room." Fiona knew that Samson was annoyed at her again. She smiled and nodded.
"Alright, Mr. Hunt."
As she headed out, she glanced at the door of room 1908.
It was inevitable for those who worked in the service industry to meet all kinds of customers.
However, those people were just passersby in life, and she did not find the need to let those people affect her mood.
She had breakfast at the cafeteria and headed to the commerce department for the meeting.
When Jenny saw Fiona running over, she asked, "Did you manage to get any photos?"
"Yeah," Fiona replied and sent the photo to Jenny.
"Wow, look at this side profile. This gaze, these abs... So much testosterone. He's so handsome!" Jenny was extremely excited. She whispered beside Fiona's ears,
"Can you take a photo of him wearing nothing?"
Fiona flicked Jenny's forehead and said, "Wake up, girl. that's a crime."
"Haha." Jenny giggled and stared at the photo.
"I wonder how Samson's like in bed. Those who look like sexless on the surface are usually extremely wild in bed."
"Manager Carson is here." Fiona reminded her.
There were four people in total in the commerce department: Manager Carson, Fiona, Jenny and Sarah Biel.
"Since the beginning of this year, on average, only sixty percent of the rooms in our hotel had been occupied. June is not a peak season, and all of us in the commerce department must work hard. Hence, the company had come up with a scheme to encourage you guys. For all the deals you guys seal in June, as long as the customers are paying the full price, you can get a commission of 100 USD per room. What do you think?" Manager Carson said.
Fiona raised her hand. "The crew of The Legend of the Blue Sword will be filming in our city in June. The female lead is Bianca Ellen. I intend to get her to stay here as well as sign a contract with her fan club."
"The male lead of this TV series is James Baker. I've had a meal with James before, so he'll probably agree to stay here if I seek him out. It's more convenient to have him recommend the hotel to Bianca Ellen. Why don't I go and approach the crew instead?" Sarah said aggressively.
"James and Fiona know each other very well. Do you have James phone number" Jenny asked Sarah.
There's a strange expression on Sarah's face.
"Does Fiona have it?"
"Of course. Fiona even brought me along to have a meal with James Baker the other day. I think that Fiona should be in charge of this," Jenny said.
"Do you really have James' phone number?" Sarah asked Fiona in disbelief. Fiona smiled awkwardly.
James Baker? He was one of her husband's boyfriends.
"I can get it if I want it," Fiona did not answer the question directly. Sarah's expression was very dark.
Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
"Aren't you working at the room management department now? Are you planning to get twice the salary?"
"I'm just there temporarily," Fiona explained with a smile.
"Humph, how could you be able to do a good job with so many tasks at hand?" Sarah said mockingly.
"Her performance will speak for itself. You're pretty good at mocking people, aren't you?"
Jenny said angrily.
"Do you want to make a bet, then?" Sarah looked at Fiona.
"If you can't seal the deal for at least forty percent of the rooms in June, you can drag your sorry a*s back to the room management department."
Before Fiona could speak, Jenny said, "Are you gonna get the hell out of the commerce department if she manages to do it?" Sarah smiled.
"Yes."
"Fiona, make the bet." Jenny encouraged.
Fiona lowered her head and looked at Jenny. Jenny had no idea how difficult this was.
There were 111 rooms in Crystal Ocean International Hotel, and making the bet meant that she had to seal the deal for at least 44 rooms a day. How was it even possible? It was not the peak season.
"20 percent..." Before Fiona could finished speaking, Sarah rushed to say, "Deal. You have to seal the deal of 22 rooms a day, which means 660 rooms a month. You can even get a 66,000 USD commission! I'll be waiting to see how well you can do the job with so many tasks at hand."
Fiona couldn't register anything that was said in the meeting after that.
She had to seal the deal for 660 rooms. Even if she managed to invite Bianca Ellen over, and ten people from her fan club joined Bianca Ellen, she would be able to seal the seal for 10 rooms a day at most. The only possible way to win the bet was by having every single person in the crew stay at the hotel, including the director, producer, logistics manager, props team, filming crew, other actors as well as actresses, and the fans of those other celebrities...
Crystal Ocean International Hotel was a five-star hotel. Even an ordinary room cost more than 1000 USD a night. Not everyone could afford to stay there. She had no idea what to do.
After the meeting, she immediately went to find David Burton.
"Mr. Burton, I have taken on a very difficult task. Can you assign someone else to become Samson Hunt's room manager?"
"Manager Carson has already told me about that. You're very gutsy indeed. 660 isn't a small number. I'll find an excuse to let you get away from Mr. Hunt. After all, he hates it when his room manager is changed for no reason."
"Thank you, Mr. Burton. You are the most open-minded leader I have ever met." Fiona flattered David. David smiled.
"Are you free at noon?"
"Why?"
"Today's the birthday of the son of the big boss. Why don't you head to the celebration with me? You have an hour to get changed and reapply your makeup," David said.
As a subordinate, she had no choice but to obey the order.
An hour later, a Bentley stopped at the door of the hotel. Fiona was about to open the door for David when David opened the door himself and stood respectfully aside. Accompanied by his personal assistant, Samson sat coldly in the backseat. Fiona didn't expect this.
