Chapter 92: This Keipei is Just Weak

Late that night, Hayato and his group found a good camping spot. After winning a full set of equipment from a Duelist who had already set up his tent, wagering three Star Chips, Hayato lay down quite comfortably.

Bakura was making a fire, while Keipei looked at the tent with a face full of disdain: "How can anyone sleep in a place like this at night? There are so many mosquitoes and it's so noisy. Even the room Pegasus used to lock me in was much better than this."

"But this is the only kind of place available for you to choose from, unless you want to go back to the cage Pegasus prepared for you," Hayato said, lying in the relatively spacious tent, looking at Keipei standing in front of it, and smiled. "So don't be too picky, young master. At least your conditions are better than the guy I won from, right?"

The original owner of this tent seemed to be a rich second generation based on his appearance. The tent was quite high-end, but he wasn't rich enough to bring people onto the Island like Uncle Anasis. At first, Hayato and the others were just passing by and noticed his tent was quite large, so they thought about asking to stay for a night. Of course, it wouldn't be free; Hayato offered one Star Chip.

However, that rich second generation wasn't as kind as Brother Jie, willing to help Hayato and his two companions. Instead, he saw Hayato's Handful of Star Chips as a big catch and insisted on Dueling Hayato for his tent. The result was obvious: Hayato took the First Turn, summoned VW-Tiger Catapult, and on the second Turn, directly brought out XYZ-Dragon Cannon, blasting that rich second generation into oblivion☆.

Although the Duelists who could come to the Island had gone through several rounds of screening, that didn't mean they were all powerful Duelists. Duelists like Weevil Underwood, Mai Valentine, and even Uncle Anasis were ultimately only a minority.

Although Keipei was still somewhat reluctant, he eventually crawled into the tent and sat next to Hayato. Seeing Hayato's relaxed demeanor, Keipei thought for a moment and asked, "In Pegasus's Castle, I saw you talking to him. You should have a good relationship with him, right?"

"You're probably asking why I didn't report you to that Staff member during the day, right? That guy Pegasus is a genius game designer, and I happen to have a lot of ideas about this game as well, so limited to this game, we get along well, but that's all there is to it."

Hayato sat up and seemingly casually took off the Duelist Glove on his wrist, shaking his hand. "I'm not Friends with that guy." At least not the Pegasus whose mind was currently confused by the Power of the Millennium Eye and who had done many unforgivable things; Hayato didn't consider him a Friend.

"Alright, alright, we still have a whole day of hunting on the Island tomorrow, so let's get some rest early." Taking off the Deck Box from his waist to avoid it digging into his back while sleeping, Hayato moved to a corner of the tent and lay down with his back towards Keipei. Bakura finished making the fire outside and also crawled into the tent, sitting inside and watching the fire outside.

It was already autumn, and their camping spot was quite close to the sea. If they didn't have any means of keeping warm and were exposed to the sea breeze all night, they would definitely catch a cold the next day.

After a while, Bakura also lay down, leaving only Keipei looking at the fire. The firelight danced in his eyes. Turning his head, he glanced at the Duel Glove and Deck that Hayato had put down.

---Kaiba who came to the Island by helicopter---

The next morning.

Hayato was originally in a state of comfortable sleep like a baby. In his dream, he went First Turn on the Field, brought out a 6-Material King of the Citadel, activated Mystic Mine, and then used Solemn Judgment to negate the opponent's Xyz Delay. But just as he was about to perform a Direct Attack on the opponent in such a sweet dream, he was shaken awake.

"Hayato! Something's wrong! Wake up quickly! Hayato!"

As soon as Hayato opened his eyes, he saw Bakura with an Expression like he was about to cry. Seeing Hayato open his eyes, Bakura quickly said, "Something terrible has happened, Hayato. Keipei is gone, and so are your Deck and Duelist Glove!"

Hearing this, Hayato's gaze swept towards his side. Sure enough, the Duelist Glove he had taken off yesterday and the Deck Box containing his Deck were gone. Seeing this, Hayato couldn't help but sigh, "He still did it, that kid Keipei."

Seeing Bakura's self-reproaching look, Hayato quickly comforted him, "It's alright, it's alright, don't cry. Actually, I was prepared for this." Reaching into his waist, Hayato pulled out another Deck Box containing a Deck, as well as ten Star Chips, under Bakura's surprised gaze.

Facing Bakura's confused and bewildered eyes, Hayato just smiled and didn't explain anything, only saying, "Everything is within calculation."

Meanwhile, on the other side, Keipei, with a face mask covering his true appearance, stood on the Duel Platform, wearing a Duelist Glove that was clearly ill-fitting and loose. Several Star Chips were embedded on the Glove.

Across from Keipei, "Dark Yugi," the Pharaoh, whose temperament was completely different from the usual Yugi, also stood on the raised Duel Platform and placed his Deck on the Field: "Although I don't know who you are, stealing someone else's Cards and Star Chips is truly unforgivable."

"Shut up! It's all your fault! If it weren't for you, my bro... Anyway, Duel!"

Keipei seemed not to want to reveal his identity just yet, braking in time when he almost let it slip. Although the Pharaoh's eyes were somewhat suspicious, seeing that Keipei had already shouted "Duel," he didn't say anything more, just drew his Hand from his Deck.

As Keipei drew his Cards, he thought to himself: 'That guy Pegasus actually contacted The Big Five and put KaibaCorp on the Wager table. Yugi, if you are defeated by that guy Pegasus, KaibaCorp will fall into his hands, and I will never agree to that no matter what.'

'So, let me use Brother Hayato's Deck to crush you. As long as you don't have the Duelist Kingdom Qualification, that guy Pegasus's Wager won't be valid!'

Keipei's Plan was quite good—The Big Five's Bet with Pegasus was to "defeat Mutou Yuugi, who defeated Kaiba, in an official Match." So, as long as Yugi didn't enter the official Match and lost his Qualification to leave Duelist Kingdom Island before that, the Wager wouldn't be valid.

And the method Keipei thought of was to use Hayato's Deck, which was strong enough to defeat the Japanese national Champion, Weevil Underwood, and Bet all of Yugi's Star Chips to eliminate him. In Keipei's Heart, Yugi's Deck, which had lost the invincible Exodia the Forbidden One, was simply not worth mentioning.

Thinking this, Keipei lowered his head to look at the five Cards he had drawn in his Hand, and then he was dumbfounded—

Among the five Cards in his Hand, Hayato's Ace Monster—the Ojama Brothers—were all gathered, and the other two Cards were both Hayato's most commonly used Skull Stalker.

From another angle that Keipei couldn't see, the Ojama Brothers had already climbed onto his head and were dancing a cheerful dance on his headscarf:

"Invincible Ojama Brothers!" "Aniki's strongest Ace Card!" "That's us three, yeah~"
