Lights exploded on. A chorus of voices screamed, "Sürpriz!"
She blinked. Her father smiled, arms wide open. "Happy birthday, my princess!"
Tears shimmered in her eyes as she whispered, "Teşekkür ederim, babam (thankyou so much Dad) You're the best."
But someone else stole her gaze — standing quietly near the garden entrance.
Aliyan.With Aiyla.
The little girl ran into Esra's arms. "Anne (mom), I missed you!"

She opened her mouth… but fear clutched her throat.
He brushed past her.
"Cemre is waiting. Don't follow me."
That night, the moon hid behind clouds. And someone… was watching.
From a distance. From the shadows.Listening. Waiting.
And when morning came, something was missing.
Someone was gone.

Unaware, Cemre grew restless. It had been a week since she last saw her daughter. Her heart ached. She decided to visit Aliyan's mother's house.
But when she arrived, a storm brewed inside her.
"Where's Aiyla?" Cemre demanded.
Aliyan's mother blinked, confused. "He hasn't returned since the day he left."
That one sentence cracked the silence wide open.
Cemre's fingers trembled. Her blood ran cold. "What do you mean... he hasn't returned?"
"He said he was going to his office. That...
