Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Immortal And Demon Realm

Lex raised his index finger and began to draw intricate runes into the space in front of him. Each stroke was precise, calculated, and heavy with the weight of origin laws.

Molten light gathered at his fingertip, coalescing with every second. The air around him thrummed with a faint, electric tension, as if the universe itself were holding its breath.

With a flick of his finger, the surrounding structures crumbled into dust, dissolving as though they had never existed, leaving behind only the raw essence of their energy.

A massive, glowing runic circle rose from the ground, its edges shimmering with raw origin energy. Lex extended his hand, and with a motion as effortless as parting a curtain, reached into its depths.

A phantom hand, translucent yet solid, materialized in the depths of the space layers. It grasped a massive pipe, which then passed through the runic circle. Lex guided it carefully into place with steady, precise movements.

As the mouth of the pipe touched the ground, the earth shook violently. Its end shifted and reshaped, blending seamlessly into the surrounding mountains - as if it had always belonged there.

As if awakened and alive with the energy coursing through them, the once barren mountaintops now pulsed with a faint rhythmic glow.

Deep within the mountains, a crystalline mine took form, its walls glittering with energy stones condensed from the remaining Origin Energy in the atmosphere.

He reached down and plucked one of the stones from the ground, turning it over in his hand. It was silvery, smooth, and cool to the touch, but beneath its surface, vast energy was contained within.

After a brief inspection, he discarded it without interest. To him, it was nothing more than a byproduct, a trivial relic of creation, though he knew lesser beings would covet it.

With the pipeline and its branches now firmly anchored in this realm, Lex turned his focus to refining the distribution ratio of Origin Energy.

The cosmic energy that permeated the universe accounted for only six percent of the total mass of the Origin Ocean;a ratio that could neither rise nor fall.

It was a fixed constant, the optimum equilibrium upon which Lex balanced the universe.

Lex filtered the energy with meticulous precision, dividing it according to a ratio of twenty.

What emerged after the filtration was a purer, more concentrated form of energy, its silvery hue shimmering with an ethereal, almost living glow.

By contrast, ordinary cosmic energy remained colorless, taking on the hue of its wielder's elemental affinity.

Lex named this refined energy Immortal Energy, a name that matched its purity and strength. The silvery essence hummed softly with potential, glowing as if alive, and eager to be harnessed.

A single strand of Immortal Energy had the power to elevate a being to a higher life form — if the being could withstand its overwhelming intensity.

Stronger individuals had a higher chance of survival, but for the unprepared, it could be fatal.

Immortal Energy was rare, even within the Immortal Realm, a resource Lex had deliberately designed to remain controlled and exclusive, its access only those with sufficient strength could claim.

After days of meticulous creation, Lex finished creating the physical structures of the Immortal Realm. The only task that remained was to forge a "will" for it, a force that would act as the ultimate enforcer of order, an intelligence to command and maintain the delicate balance of this new realm.

This will would operate like a machine, devoid of emotions, impartial, and indifferent to the creatures inhabiting the realm. It would remain most of the time dormant, intervening only when the realm's safety was threatened.

Lex gathered the surrounding Energy using the Soul Law, and compressed it into soul power. The soul power grew denser and denser until it crystallized into a heart-shaped gem.

This heart throbbed steadily, like a living organ, though it was not a physical material but a construct of pure energy.

Lex scanned the heart, his senses flickering across its crystalline surface. Beneath the solid structure, he felt a faint, nascent consciousness reaching out to him, tentative yet affectionate, like a child seeking the warmth of its mother's embrace.

He chuckled softly, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "You're quite the eager one, aren't you?" His voice was gentle, tinged with a rare note of fondness that he forgot he even had.

The heart pulsed brighter in response, as if it acknowledged his touch, its glow intensifying with each beat, drawing closer to him.

Lex stepped back after minutes of studying the heart, he left the heart suspended in the sky of the Immortal Realm. With this, the will of the immortal realm awakened to life, silently taking its place as the ultimate guardian.

Its purpose was clear; to maintain the stability and order of the Immortal Realm, ensuring that chaos could never take root. And with this, the creation of the realm was complete.

From the outside, the Immortal Realm was an awe-inspiring sight: an infinite expanse of floating continents, each one stretching endlessly into the void.

Massive mountains rose like titans, their peaks clawing at the heavens as though daring the stars themselves to challenge their dominance.

In certain places, a silvery glow bathed the land, a subtle yet unmistakable sign of the dense concentration of Immortal Energy that pulsed through those regions, a living force that gave the realm its unique essence.

Encasing the entire realm was a vast, luminous canopy, a protective veil made by the newborn will of the realm. It was colorless, transparent barrier, its presence almost imperceptible yet undeniably there, like the whisper of a breath or the shimmer of heat on the horizon.

The canopy stretched endlessly around the realm, a seamless barrier that blended with the void, its energy humming faintly with quiet authority.

It might have seemed invisible to the untrained eye, but to those who could sense its power, it was a profound declaration of the realm's unity and the unyielding order that now guarded it.

Lex stood above the realm, his gaze sweeping over the endless expanse of floating continents and towering mountains.

As his eyes fell on the shadowed regions devoid of the dense silvery Immortal Energy, the thought of a colossal sun, as a source of light and life took root in his mind.

With a casual wave of his hand, the laws of the universe responded, bending to his will. The very fabric of the cosmos shifted, as Lex shaped the flow of energy and matter with ease, his presence the catalyst for an unseen transformation.

The Law of Fire, the Law of Light, the Law of Heat, and countless other laws intertwined, their essences merging into a single, radiant sphere.

The sphere grew, into a titan of incandescent energy within seconds, glowing with a searing brilliance that could have scorched worlds.

However, Lex tempered its power, ensuring it would nurture rather than destroy.

As the sun blazed to life, its light cascaded over the realm, banishing the darkness that had clung to its edges. Shadows retreated, and the land seemed to awaken, bathed in a golden warmth that breathed vitality into every corner.

The silvery hue of the Immortal Energy glowed even more brightly under the sunlight, making the immortal realm feel both ethereal and breathtakingly beautiful.

But Lex was not done. With another motion, he created a moon, a softer, gentler companion to the sun. Its light was cool and serene, a silver glow that washed over the realm in quiet contrast to the sun's fiery radiance.

Where the sun energized, the moon soothed, its beams caressing the land with a tranquil luminescence.

Together, they balanced the realm, their light weaving a change of day and night, warmth and calm.

Lex observed his work with quiet satisfaction, thinking to himself, "Now that this realm is complete, the only thing left is to fill it with life, but that can wait for now."

He vanished in an instant and reappeared in a vast, empty void, a desolate layer of deep space, where only a few distant stars illuminated the heavy darkness.

This was where he would create the next realm, the "Demon Realm" Unlike the harmonious and radiant Immortal Realm, this place would be its antithesis: harsh, cruel, and unforgiving.

It would be a domain where only demonic creatures could thrive, born of chaos and malice.

Lex stood in the void, his glowing body starkly contrasting to the emptiness around him. With a thought, he began to manipulate the laws of the universe, weaving Origin Energy into a new form.

The void trembled. A deafening sound echoed—a paradox, for in such a place, sound should not exist. Then, a spatial tear appeared from its depths, something immense began to emerge.

It was not a continent or a floating landmass this time, but a 'tower' and colossal beyond mortal comprehension.

The tip of the tower appeared first, piercing through the tear like a blade. Slowly, it ascended into the void, its form growing more defined as it rose. After several seconds, the tower fully materialized.

The tower's base was broader than its peak, a monstrous edifice spanning three million light-years across and soaring ten million light-years into the void.

Its surface was forged of dull gray metal, a substance that seemed to devour the faint light around it rather than reflect it.

The sheer mass of the tower warped the fabric of space, distorting the void around it in shimmering, mirage-like waves.

Lex gazed upon his creation with cold detachment. The Demon Realm was never meant to be beautiful, nor harmonious; it was a crucible, a place of suffering and survival, forged for the strongest and most ruthless.

The tower loomed in the void, a monument to chaos and dominion, its presence a grim testament to the duality Lex had carved into existence.

The Immortal Realm was light and order; the Demon Realm, darkness and anarchy. Together, they would bind the universe in a delicate, brutal equilibrium, each a reflection of the extremes of creation.
