"The simulation's duration changed from one hour to one day?"
Kirin Uchiha didn't really mind. Sure, an hourly simulation provided more detailed insights, but it also cost him far more time in the real world.
After running several simulations already, Kirin had a solid grasp of the key players' movements on the night of the Uchiha Massacre. A broader, day-by-day view would actually help him conserve time in reality.
(T/N: If somebody did not get it. Previously, the system provided information about each hour of the simulation, but now it will give us information about the every day)
...
"Still loading? Whatever. Anyway... the Uchiha clan really is twisted."
Looking at the transcript of the last simulation, Kirin couldn't help but sigh. That included himself.
In his previous life, he had never even killed a bug, let alone a person. Yet in the simulation, he had murdered Kazuki Uchiha without hesitation—then hunted down his fleeing people like a ravenous wolf. He even used living people as target practice for ninjutsu.
"Is this who I really am? Or is it the Uchiha bloodline slowly warping my personality?"
The thought sent a chill down his spine. But then he relaxed, sinking back into bed.
After all, in the chaos of the Shinobi World—even in Konohagakure, the so-called most peaceful village—ordinary lives meant little, and low-ranking shinobi were just disposable tools. In a world like this, perhaps such instincts were the only way to survive.

The message on the panel pulled Kirin's drifting thoughts back into focus. He ran his finger along a perfectly sharpened kunai, eyes fixed on the screen.

[Day 2]
Due to your injuries from the previous day, you slept until noon before a maid gently woke you up.
Under the nurse's attentive care and the maid's service, you enjoyed a comfortable lunch and couldn't help but comment—This is how life is supposed to be. Though the Uchiha leadership wasn't as rigidly feudal as the Hyūga, they certainly lived well.
During your afternoon rest, you tried to stretch and move around, but the wounds from yesterday's fight still ached. After a bit of activity, you returned to the study and pulled out a few scrolls you'd always wanted to read.
Time passed quietly. Peace still reigned in the Uchiha compound.
Later, the Uchiha Elder summoned you for more questioning. You fabricated intel using your nonexistent powers of foresight and told him about the dealings between Itachi, Danzō, and the masked man.
The Elder showed little emotional response to your "prophecy," and you returned to your room to continue reading.
By the end of the day, you had fully memorized the Uchiha clan's core throwing technique—Manipulated Shuriken Technique—but your body was still recovering, so you didn't push yourself too hard.
...
[Day 3]
Thanks to the nurse's treatment, your wounds had mostly healed. Your body felt nearly back to normal—there was still some pain, but it no longer hindered your training.
You asked the Elder for kunai, steel wire, shuriken, and ignition oil. With these, you began your formal training in the Manipulated Shuriken Technique.
The Elder didn't question you today. Instead, he watched your tireless practice with visible interest—your relentless, machine-like repetition seemed to catch his eye.
The night of the massacre had not yet arrived.
...
[Day 4]
Your body had recovered completely, and the pain no longer limited your movements. You continued training the shuriken technique.
Your unyielding commitment seemed to move the Elder. For the first time, he began offering occasional tips to refine your form—each suggestion giving you valuable insight.
Still, the night of the massacre did not come.
...
[Day 5]
Your willingness to push through pain to continue training finally earned the Elder's approval. He told you that you had already grasped the essence of throwing techniques, and that continuing to aim at logs or discs wouldn't help you progress any further.
Seeing the hunger in your eyes, the Elder summoned a guard to spar with you.
During the match, you realized just how naive you had been. In front of this special jōnin, your so-called "mastery" of shuriken arts meant nothing. Even in pure throwing accuracy, you were completely outclassed.
But as the sparring continued, you began applying the techniques from the scrolls more fluidly, no longer bound by rigid form. Your ability to dodge also improved dramatically.
Still, the massacre had not yet come.
...
[Day 6]
While you were fast asleep, a kunai slit your throat.
You awoke in shock, but no sound escaped your mouth. Around you wasn't the Elder's residence—but an empty, desolate field.
A masked man with a single eye activated the Mangekyō Sharingan and began interrogating you.
You mustered your last strength to flip him off with an international-friendly hand gesture.
Failing to get anything out of you, the masked man vanished. You died...
Three days after your death, the Uchiha Massacre unfolded as usual.
But unlike past timelines, this time some Uchiha other than Sasuke survived.
Several children were taken into Root. Others were placed under ANBU surveillance and allowed to live normal lives. Some loyal to the Elder's faction fled to the Land of Lightning and were granted asylum by the Raikage.

[Simulation Complete]
[Calculating Rewards...]
[Evaluating Combat Power…]
In this simulation, despite dying, the user accidentally broke the deadlock and ensured a sliver of survival for the Uchiha clan. A tragic yet heroic ending.
[Overall Judgment: Life or Death Battle!]
[Rewards Granted!]
[Choose 5 out of 7 Rewards Below:]
"Huh? Five out of seven? I thought it'd be three out of five!"
Kirin hadn't expected that his reckless play would actually extend his survival past the night of the massacre. Though he was ultimately killed by Obito breaking through the barrier, this simulation had exceeded all his expectations—and even saved part of the Uchiha clan.
He walked over to the sink and splashed cold water on his face to clear his head. Then he fluffed his pillow into the perfect shape, laid back, pulled the blanket over himself, and with a bit of ceremony, opened the reward menu.
『1』 +1 Simulation Attempt
『2』 Single Tomoe Sharingan (Both Eyes)
『3』 Manipulated Shuriken Technique (Including insights and muscle memory)
『4』 Chakra Refinement Technique (Includes understanding and chakra reserve boost)
『5』 Great Fireball Technique (Includes insights and hand seal fluency)
『6』 Basic Experience in Dojutsu Application
『7』 Loot System – First-time reward for Life or Death Battle evaluation!
Looking at the long list of rewards, Kirin frowned in hesitation. The extra simulation attempt, the Sharingan, and the physical improvements gained during the sim—every single one of them was tempting.
And then there was the new system reward—Loot System. Judging from the name alone, he could guess it allowed him to extract spoils from simulations.
But simulations already gave rewards. So what was the point of an additional loot feature?
With no choice, he summoned the sleeping assistant again.
[Ding~ Does the user have any questions?]
"Yeah. What exactly does the Loot System do?"
