Chapter 15 - CHAPTER : 15

'What a strange person.'

The blue eyes behind the glasses seemed to freeze Diarin to death.

'Is it because you kicked out Executor Dermaf?'

"Miss Shay."

"Yes?"

"Why did the castle suddenly become so pretty?"

"The castle? Ah! Not long ago, people from the Imperial Palace came and made a major repair."

"Aha."

I knew it.

Because Ezet had a golden return. The imperial executives who had neglected the North Gate Estate for several years must have had a chill in their backs. If there was an administrative error in the past, they would have corrected them like crazy while reducing their mistakes.

'But why do you keep using the white oak palace in the capital?'

I could never figure out why.

After heating up the room, Shay skillfully organized Diarin's luggage. She was always quiet, but when she saw Diarin's dress, she exclaimed slightly.

A luxurious dress embroidered with hundreds of diamonds like small stars embedded in a light fabric. It would have been a natural reaction because it was like a treasure that most nobles could hardly see.

"Oh, please keep them clean. I will resell it."

"What? Resell…, Huh? What?"

Shay was embarrassed but acted much more cautiously. It was then that she widened her eyes.

"Oh, my. What about this?"

Oh. Underwear.

Lingerie underwear.

Before going to see Ezet, I was matching a few dresses. Words were like underwear and laces. Before coming down to the Northern Gates Territory, I bought a cloak in the capital and changed everything. It came down and washed and has never been worn.

But Shay's face was red.

"What provocative lingerie! Miss! I know a lot of ways to infuse fragrance on fabric. You can soak it in hot water that has been heavily spiced for a whole day, then shake it off and dry it in the sun."

"Yes? What …."

Shay's face grew red as she thought about it. She looked like a ripe tomato.

Seriously, a fiancée brought naughty lingerie to the castle. Anyone could only imagine one thing. Unless you have a particular hobby of collecting underwear.

After all, she agreed to be a good fiancée for Ezet. How much has Duke Concel changed? When will the rumors spread to the capital? Maybe it has already spread.

The prince, Ezet Asperk Kirchen.

He couldn't forget the old friendship he had with his fiancée, so he sent her to the North Gate Castle.

"If I weren't the main character, it would be a really fun drama."

"Lady?"

"Ah, Miss Shay."

Diarin smiled shyly and said she was asking for a favor. Shay said not to worry and gathered up her lingerie underwear.

"I'm in the next room to my lady's, so call me if you need me."

Shay turned off the light and went out.

Diarin, who was covering herself with a blanket as if she was about to fall asleep, pretended to be asleep and woke up quietly.

Diarin crept over to the hot stove and squatted down. After opening the lid of the stove, she took out a magic stone that had not yet been used.

When she held the magical stone in her hand, a black swan pattern was drawn on her white wrist like an illusion and then disappeared.

After clenching the magical stone, which started to heat up quickly, like a hand stove, she opened the white wooden wardrobe. The cloak that Limoud had saved is hanging well.

Diarin took out the cloak, tied it tightly around her shoulder, and went to the window.

A cold wind blows in from the northern night with lightly colored hair that flutters.

Diarin put her foot on the window frame. At the same time, the black pattern shone once again on the wrist. The entire bedroom quickly became silent.

Ordinary people do not know what has changed, but the new beasts Ol and Lor knew.

〈It's magic.〉

Ol whispered leisurely. Diarin casts a noise-cancelling spell throughout this bedroom. It was a magic that Shay used in case she heard the sound of the wind.

Lor asked in a slightly tired voice.

〈Humans. How many spells can you do at the same time?〉

"Well, I haven't counted…. If you're curious, should I count again later?"

Ol intervened.

〈Then won't the master vomit blood again?〉

"No, I'm going to solve that problem."

Diarin bit the handkerchief in her mouth. With magical powers all over her body like a pasture, she eventually climbed completely onto the window sill.

Outside the window. Completely empty.

Several small round magic circles are created in front of Diarin's feet with the sound of jingling and small bells ringing. The magic circles begin to line up one after another towards the roof, like a transparent staircase.

Without hesitation, she put her feet on it.

One step, one step. Another step.

The magic circles that Diarin stepped on disappeared. Again and again, an infinite number of magic circles are created in front. At first glance, it seemed to be walking up the sky.

So, it didn't take long for Diarin to reach the castle's highest roof. She slipped the warm magical stone she was holding like a lifeline into the slippers for indoor use.

Two free hands.

She extended both arms out in front with her palms facing up.

Divine beast's pattern drawn red on the skin. Red tide's magic power.

A magic circle large enough for a person the size of Diarin to pass through is drawn vertically like a mirror.

The clear sound of small glass beads hitting resonated in her ears. Numerous patterns were densely drawn on the empty magic circle.

At the same time, the hair, cloak, and body rose up.

A human who does not set foot on the earth.

The magic took full form in no time.

Upon completion, the horizontally rotating magic circle began to slowly penetrate Diarin's body. From head to toe.

It was then that Diarin was able to spit out the handkerchief that had been covering her mouth the whole time. The handkerchief was stained with blood to such an extent that the original color could not be recognized.

"Throw this away."

〈Okay.〉

Lor's red feathers fly and throw the bloody handkerchief far away in a suitable place.

The cold night air. Her white misty breath dispersed.

"Whoo."

A cool breeze winds around her light brown hair shining in the moonlight. A silver-white full moon seemed to be just above her head.

It was a perfectly round shape, but it was not a task for Diarin, who wrapped mana around her body, to focus on.

"Did you see how Limoud looked at me as if I'm a patient with a time limit?"

〈That knight? I saw, it was funny.〉

〈That's right, Master, with just one gesture, your body might explode, right?〉

"Speak nicely, Ol."

〈My beautiful master's beautiful hand gestures will make her cute body explode and die.〉

".….. Don't talk."

Anyway, it was unexpected that Limoud caught her vomiting blood. It was better than being caught cutting Beowulf in half.

So Diarin decided to cast three spells at once.

Creation, transformation, fantasy.

Vomiting of blood was due to the side effects of mana. It's inevitable that a part of the body might be lost to keep mana in store, so Diarin planned to cast a spell and shake off the feathers of stone instead of blood.

Diarin applied illusion magic once more to this magic. In the eyes of others, the feathers of the red tide's would look like black feathers of the black swan. Once it hits the ground, it will disappear like a snowflake.

Contrary to what is easily said, fantasy was a tearfully complex magic.

Ten intermediate-level wizards completed the spell that took them several years, and yet Diarin completed it all like a cup of tea.

Even while other spells are still in play.

Ol, who had been quiet, asked,

〈Master, why didn't you perform these magic spells in advance?〉

〈Do you enjoy vomiting blood?〉

〈Isn't the master strange?〉

〈Strange?〉

〈Oh, can't I remember this? Mark… There's something like that, Lor.〉

"...Please. Can you not make your summoner a strange person, Ol, Lor?"

In Duke Concel's, the maid always opened the door and came in. If Diarin's magic in progress was stopped, the burden on her body is very high.

In addition, wizards feel deep psychological stability under the bright full moon. That was the reason why she came up to this roof on purpose.

Black feathers fell under her feet and soon disappeared. Diarin's complexion had become noticeably pale. She was like a dead body.

This was because her body, unfamiliar with magic, quickly became tired. Before going down to the bedroom, Diarin turned and looked at the castle's support.

To be exact, a dark forest that sits like a barrier under the garden of the castle.
