The transformation Luceris underwent was nothing short of extraordinary.
She was completely different, inside and out.
Leaving aside her hair color change—since, as a berserker-like class, that was somewhat expected—there was something far more astonishing.
Her ears... were now elven!
And, her chest...
if they didn't witnessed the entire process firsthand, Leanne and Selene would have sworn someone had swapped Luceris out mid-transformation.
Judging by the current form, there was no way this could be a boy anymore.
Luceris was a girl.
Leanne and Selene exchanged a look, their shock clear in their eyes. Silent but mutual understanding passed between them.
Once Luceris donned the Dimensional Divine Costume, her career panel shifted dramatically.
[Luceris]
Level: 20
[Skills:]
Normal Attack: Arrow of Flowers and BirdsEach arrow shot deals four points of damage and applies a Crystal Flower seed to the enemy. Up to four seeds can be applied.
Charged Attack: Oath of Wind and MoonCharge to release multiple arrows rapidly, amplifying the power of each shot and detonating the Crystal Flower seeds on impact.
Evasion Skill: Heaven and Earth TechniquePerform a rapid displacement to dodge twice in a row, with an extreme dodge causing time and space to distort for a brief moment.
Nirvana: The Beginning of You and MeCreate a flawless dome, greatly enhancing personal abilities and enabling the ejection of charged attacks.
This class bestowed unique abilities based on the attributes of her Dimensional Divine Equipment. In addition to that, Luceris had the advantage of enhancing all her career points through her intelligence rather than wasting any on skills.
By this measure alone, she held a considerable advantage.
At the same level, her physical and mental stats were far beyond the reach of most.
Luceris extended her palm, and a soft pink light radiated from it, forming a beautiful bow and arrow in her hands.
"Flying Flowers from the Past Life."
The bow was nearly legendary—a black shaft adorned with white embellishments, and purple crystals set into the end, giving it a graceful yet potent aura.
The weapon's abilities were formidable as well, capable of powerful control no matter the level of the enemy.
[Crystal Thorn]Exploding Crystal Flower seeds generate a crystal barrier that slows enemies by 70% and has a chance to imprison them for one second.
[Fairy Love Song]Increases attack power and critical hit rate by 20%, with an additional 15% boost for charged attacks.
Luceris had quickly realized that "Flying Flowers from the Past Life" could be further enhanced with enchantments from the world's skilled enchanters and blacksmiths. To unlock its true potential, she'd need support from the best in the field.
Partnering with powerful figures and seeking the backing of influential officials had proven to be the best choice she could have made.
"That weapon…" Leanne muttered.
Selene nodded in agreement. "It looks like high-grade gear. It's definitely a few levels above our equipment."
Leanne sighed, clearly impressed. "I have to admit, Luceris—sister Luceris—never fails to surprise."
As elite young warriors trained by the government, both women were used to wielding top-tier equipment. Yet, they couldn't help but be taken aback by Luceris's bow. The faint glow of divine energy that flickered from it felt like an elf's blessing.
If the bow were enchanted, it would undoubtedly become a treasure of national significance.
Luceris smirked, her pink pupils sparkling with mischief as she winked at them, her adorable expression catching them off guard.
"Ready," she said with a mischievous tone, already eyeing the nearest cat demon that had been watching with hunger.
A cat demon leapt forward, clearly eager to test her skills first.
Luceris took a quick step forward, drew the bowstring, and let loose a barrage of arrows.
The magic condensed within each arrow and shot out at blinding speed.
Whoosh!
Pink crystal arrows whistled through the air, too fast to track. One cat demon froze in mid-air as an arrow pierced through its body, blood splattering in all directions.
Whoosh!
Another arrow flew, followed by several more in quick succession, as the cat demon's health rapidly dwindled. Soon, it was pinned to a nearby dead tree, never to rise again.
After a dungeon monster dies, its corpse lingers briefly—neither vanishing nor completely decaying until adventurers collect any valuable items or time runs out.
"Those cat demons had such low HP, and Sister Leanne's control was on point," Luceris commented, her voice full of admiration.
As a level 101 Dragon Knight, Leanne's ability to manage the monsters' health with such precision was a testament to her skill.
One might recall a wise king's words: "It is difficult to control the force of stepping on ants without crushing them to death."
Yet even after leaving these cat demons with barely any health, Luceris's abilities had stunned them both.
Before Luceris's transformation, they had been ready to jump into action at a moment's notice. The level difference was vast—over forty levels. Most attacks would miss, or if they connected, they'd barely be a nuisance.
Considering those facts, they never imagined Luceris would be able to defeat these monsters so effortlessly.
But she had, easily dispatching them with swift precision.
After unleashing a volley of over a dozen arrows, every single one hit its mark, dealing remarkable damage.
At this rate, if Luceris's agility were high enough, she could use the 40-level gap to secure a one-hit kill on full-health enemies!
It was a feat so impressive, it would leave any martial artist obsessed with leapfrogging challenges in awe.
Just as the two women were still recovering from their shock, another cat demon appeared from the shadows, its scarlet eyes burning with murderous intent. Its claws were raised, aiming to strike Luceris down.
"Watch out!" Leanne shouted, seeing the impending danger.
Luceris felt the deadly aura and her pupils contracted. Instinctively, she knew she was in grave danger.
Selene reacted quickly, raising her staff to intervene.
A single hit from that demon would surely end Luceris's life!
But just as the claws descended—
A wave of crystal energy surrounded Luceris, forming a protective space around her.
Holding her bow steady, she sidestepped effortlessly, as time and space seemed to twist and bend around her.
"I can't believe this!" Leanne whispered, jaw hanging in shock.
