Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Stormy Waves

Chen Mo stared at the mobile phone that suddenly turned into a busy signal, and his heart felt as if it were being tightly grasped by an invisible hand. The dean's lips curved into a smug smile, gesturing for the security guard to carry him out. Just then, Chen Mo suddenly exerted force and threw the security guard closest to him over his shoulder. He then seized the electric shock stick at the guard's waist. As the lightning flashed, the other security guards fell to the ground one after another.

Do you think this can threaten me? Chen Mo held the electric shock stick against the dean's throat, his eyes burning with rage. "All the deeds that Zhou Zhengguo and you guys did, I will definitely make them public!" The dean's face turned deathly pale in an instant, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead. "Don't act rashly!" You have no idea at all who you are opposing!

Chen Mo snorted coldly, quickly copied the surgical records to a USB drive, and turned around to leave. Unexpectedly, as soon as I stepped out of the archives room, I was surrounded by a group of people armed with guns. At the head was a man wearing sunglasses. He clapped his hands slowly and said, "Officer Chen, you really have some skills." However, do you think you can still get out?

At the critical moment, a shrill siren suddenly rang out outside the hospital. Zhao Jianfeng led a team of special police officers to break in: "Let him go!" The man in sunglasses changed his expression and waved his hand to signal his men to retreat. In the chaos, Chen Mo handed the USB drive to Zhao Jianfeng and said, "It's crucial evidence inside. Make sure to protect it well!"

On the other side, Lin Wei's yacht sank to the bottom of the sea in the explosion. When she woke up from the coma, she found herself floating on the sea surface, with a broken yacht deck beside her. The sound of a ship's engine came from afar. Lin Wei forced herself to wave her hand and call for help. However, when she saw the approaching ship clearly, her heart sank instantly - it was a cargo ship flying the Burmese flag, one of the ships involved in organ transportation.

Lin Wei quickly dived into the water, attempting to evade the search. But the people on the cargo ship were clearly well-prepared. They cast fishing nets and forcibly fished Lin Wei onto the ship. Lin Wei was taken into the cabin. The scene before her eyes made her pupils suddenly contract: dozens of iron cages were filled with people of different skin colors. Their eyes were vacant and their bodies were covered with pinholes. It was obvious that they were living beings used for organ experiments.

Welcome to the "Human Body Farm". A man with a strong Burmese accent came slowly. He wore gold-rimmed glasses and was playing with a scalpel in his hand. "I heard that you are pursuing our business?" Unfortunately, you didn't have the chance to spread the news. Lin Wei forced herself to stay calm and said, "Do you think this way you can get away with it?" Chen Mo and the others won't let you off the hook!

The man burst into laughter: "Chen Mo?" He can't save himself. Do you think that farce in the hospital was by chance? We have made the arrangements long ago. Saying that, he motioned for his men to lock Lin Wei in an iron cage, "From now on, you are also one of the 'commodities'."

Meanwhile, Chen Mo and Zhao Jianfeng were analyzing the surgical records at the police station. They found that before and after each organ transplant operation, a huge amount of money flowed into the private accounts of the relevant doctors and officials through overseas accounts. Even more astonishingly, the flow of these funds eventually all pointed to a multinational organization named "Shadow Group".

This "Shadow Group" not only manipulates telecommunications fraud in Myanmar, but also gets involved in the trade of arms, drugs and organs. Zhao Jianfeng threw the materials on the table and said, "What we investigated before was just the tip of the iceberg." Chen Mo thought for a moment, his gaze firm: "We must find Lin Wei. She must have discovered more important clues on the yacht."

Just then, a police officer rushed in and said, "Captain Chen, we just intercepted an anonymous email with a video in it." The video footage shows Lin Wei being confined in an iron cage, extremely weak, with the background being the cabin of a cargo ship. The body of the email contains only one sentence: "I want her to stay alive and come alone to the old street in northern Myanmar."

Chen Mo clenched his fists, a trace of determination flashing in his eyes: "Tell everyone to get ready to act." This time, I'm going to completely destroy their lair!
