Bai Shuying stood dazed in front of Su Meilin's abode.

Bai Shuying took off all her clothes and scrubbed herself clean with a clean rag with what seemed to be body wash smeared on it. Then she scrubbed her hair with what seemed to be shampoo.

After dousing herself with water, she soaked herself in the bath.

Hua Xiran knew this was her opportunity to turn everything around; she fought, she bled, and she succeeded in obtaining the Yin object and broke through to the Soul Transformation realm.
She returned to the Yin-Yang Sect with Su Meilin and reformed the entire sect. She met backlash from the opposition, the Luxuria faction, but when the opposition met her fist, they yielded.
Hua Xiran suppressed the dominant faction and allowed the Pure Love faction to survive.
While she worked tirelessly, Su Meilin entered the Yin-Yang Sect's Sutra Pavilion and picked a cultivation technique from a dead lineage of the sect. When Hua Xiran found out what the technique was, she almost fainted. The master and disciple both now needed someone with strong and pure Yin energy.
Hua Xiran could cover for Su Meilin until she reached the ninth-stage nascent soul realm due to her having an abundant amount of Yin energy items stored, but for herself was difficult; she needed too much Yin energy.
Hua Xiran was not in a rush, she was just worried about her foolish disciple, who had no clue about the technique she was cultivating.
When Su Meilin reported that she was attacked and injured by the Heavenly Sword Sect disciples, Hua Xiran fumed with anger.
Those bastards! How dare they attack my disciple!
Su Meilin continued her report of being saved twice by a half-fox, half-human girl and brought her back to the sect to worship Hua Xiran as her master, afraid that she would implicate the hybrid girl.
