The director cleared his throat and Sophia calmed down or at least she tried to control her anger.
" Well now that we're all calm, I would really appreciate it if you all could get along, at least until the end of the movie production, please, it's very important that you're in good terms. I believe you've all gone through your scripts, and if you haven't then quickly run through, we'll be starting production in a week. Thank you".
The director was brief and straight to the point,. probably still concerned about Sophia's outburst. The celebrities started leaving one after the other but the guy who Sophia yeld at stayed back.
" So tell me Sophia, what makes you think you have the right to yell at me like that, were you just pretending to be nice?".
" No, well I asked nicely but you blatantly refused to, and so I shouted, sorry if it upset you. I'm sorry".
He smiled at her before leaving, though I don't really know if that's even a good smile. Ethan just gave me a signal that we should get going, but he stopped at the door.
" Sophia, I'll call you tonight, let's have dinner by eight, I'll see you then".
Well that was shocking, Sophia also looked surprised. We were about leaving when Annie rushed in, she greeted Ethan and rushed to Sophia's side, he took one look at her and just left the room with me following him behind.
*Sophia's point of view*
Dinner with Ethan, Ethan Wyatt, really. What has gotten into him, and is that how you ask someone to dinner, jeez. He was about leaving when the lady who helped me with my dress the other day came in, after greeting him she walked up to me and then Ethan just left with Daven.
" Sophia, are you okay, you look stressed. I'm sure Ethan has done something wrong again right?".
" No he did nothing, and thank you for asking, I'll be fine. I didn't get your name last time".
" Annie, and I heard you're both acting in a movie together soon, it'll be chaotic don't you think".
" It might and it might not, who knows".
" I heard some whispers about you and Max, did you shout at him, everyone is saying you sounded so rude".
" Well they were all here when it happened, I really don't care what they think right now".
" You're right, no one's thoughts should bother you, rest up for your new movie".
I smiled at her and left, walking down the stairs I bumped into someone, the files on his hands fell down and flew all over the place, Carl and I helped him pick them up.
" I'm so sorry, please don't be upset, I didn't see you there".
" It's okay, I should have been more careful as well, Sophia Yvette right".
" Yes, and you're definitely Justin Desmond".
" I'm surprised you know me, what's more surprising is that you know my name".
" You're a popular actor and model, of course I know you, who wouldn't".
He just smiled at me, obviously he was in a hurry so he left. Justin Desmond, a tall muscular, light skinned, brown haired and green eyes specimen of a man, I suddenly forgot how upset I am until Carl cleared his throat and raised his eyebrow at me.
" At this point you might start drooling".
I chuckled and was about leaving when I saw Ethan outside with Daven, now don't get me wrong but, if Justin is a fine specimen of a man then Ethan is probably a god and Daven a demi-god.
I mean how can someone be so breathtakingly handsome and have such a bad attitude, and now he said he wants to dine with me, I'm scared even. Reaching outside I planned to walk straight to my car but he just had to call me.
" Sophia, stop".
Sophia stop, like I'm his child or something
" What, I've heard you concerning our dinner time and I'll try to be there on time, so what else do you want".
" If you could only relax I'm sure you'll hear what he has to say so we can all be on our way Sophia".
Daven answered in his defense.
" And if he treated Sophia with more respect I'm sure she'd be comfortable enough to be relaxed around him and hear what he has to say Daven".
Carl's comeback was beautiful, both Carl and Daven glared at each other so much that I'm sure even Ethan felt the tension in the air.
" All I wanted to say is that you should be careful Sophia, I might be mean to you but I've seen you carry out your work with so much dedication, the last thing you should do is surround yourself with people that'll bring you down, here in the entertainment industry there's hardly ever a real friend, everyone is selfish and if you honestly find a real friend then hold them close, but in your case, all the people you've been smiling with are people you should run away from, they're not healthy for you. I've been here longer than you, be careful".
He walked away with Daven and I just stood there dumbfounded, this is the second time he's saying this, and the worst part is that I don't even have any friends here, he's just trying to seek attention. I got into the car with Carl and left.
*Ethan's point of view*
I arrived home with Daven and Yvonne opened the door to welcome us. She smiled from ear to ear and I could tell her smile is genuine.
" Sir, welcome home".
" Thank you, where's your son?".
" He's in the kitchen with Stephanie sir".
" I've found a school I like, I'll give you some money and the driver will take you there tomorrow, enroll him".
" Thank you so much sir".
" Where's my brother?".
" He went to the hospital for his treatment sir".
At least he's taking the initiative to get better. Daven and I walked to my room and Yvonne came in just few minutes after we've settled down with a tray of juice and cake. I just smiled at her as Daven took the things from her hand, she bowed and left.
" A part of me is really happy you didn't listen to me and you brought them home, she's a really nice woman and her son makes this place lively. But, do you think Sophia is gonna take your advice".
" Obviously not, she's definitely not going to take it, she's too naive to see all the jealous people around her, by the time we're done with this movie they'll be more jealous people around her, by then Carl might be the only real one she's got".
" And what could you possibly want to discuss with her over dinner, what on earth could you two have to talk about?".
" If we're going to be male lead and female lead in an upcoming drama then I feel it's best we put our animosity behind us, besides, she seems like a really nice girl".
" And I'm sure her outburst today is also a reason why, the fact there's also a possibility she's suffering from trauma is drawing you close, I've known you for years Ethan, so I can guess what's going on in your mind, be careful".
" Of course, I'll be going to her alone, but why don't we eat out before that".
" We just came back and you expect me to go out again so soon, hell no, ask Yvonne and Stephanie to make us something to eat".
I got up and went to the kitchen, but why I'm I doing this, isn't this Daven' job.
*Sophia's point of view*
Here I am looking for the perfect dress for the evening, a gown, a skirt, or trousers, jeez.
" This is the first time I've seen you so worked up about what to wear, what s wrong with you".
" Carl this is Ethan Wyatt we're talking about, the guy who hates me suddenly asks me to dinner. If I'm going to be insulted then I should be insulted while dressed in style".
" I still think you're over preparing, imagine if he's not as dressed up as you are for tonight".
" There's no way that's possible, knowing Ethan he'll be all sophisticated tonight and I have to match that".
I finally decided on a red dinner gown, opened back, off shoulder, short sexy dress. This will definitely do. Time was running fast, I decided to rest a bit so I wouldn't feel tired and I can vouch I slept for five minutes but when Carl woke me up it was already 7:00pm.
I jumped out of bed and into the bathroom, finished taking my bath, dressed up and applied little make up on, I was about to leave the house after asking Carl how I look for the eleventh time when reality hit me.
" He didn't give me a location, Carl he fucking didn't give me a location, what the hell, did I get ready for nothing".
Carl already burst out laughing, he was practically hitting his hand on the bed laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too with tears in my eyes.
I was about to actually break down into a mixture of tears and laughter when we heard a honk outside. I looked through my window and it was a car I haven't seen before, sweet ride actually, Ethan came out from the driver's seat and waved at me.
" Carl he's here, he came all the way here to get me himself".
" Awww isn't that sweet, remember he's Ethan Wyatt, the guy who never missed an opportunity to ridicule you, so be careful".
I nodded and went down to meet Ethan, and exactly what Carl said came to pass. He was wearing a jean and t-shirt, what the fuck. Upon seeing me he smiled and then laughed calmly, oh gosh he looks so cute.
" Well you're overdressed, you look beautiful, red is really your color".
I could feel myself blush, I'm sure it's out of embarrassment, gosh. He opened the car door for me, I got in and he went to the driver's door and got in. I looked at the time and it was 07:56, he's really a punctual person. Starting the engine we drove off.
" So, where are we going?".
" It's a surprise baby girl, just sit back".
Did he just call me baby girl, what suddenly got into him. We drove for awhile and stopped at a building, in front of us stood a helicopter.
" Don't tell me we're going to another country for dinner".
" Calm down princess, let's get in".
He took my hand and led me in, the helicopter took off and looking at the city from above made everything look so beautiful, the lights made the night shine bright. The helicopter flew for awhile before stopping at a spot.
I recognize this place, hell I've only seen it in movies and on social media, we're in Montenaro, like The Montenaro. I looked at Ethan who wholeheartedly smiled at me, the sweetest smile I've ever seen. He took my hand and led me into the hotel, I don't even know if this place is a hotel cause it has a variety of things.
Getting into the elevator he kept on going on and on about how cool this place is and how he can't wait to show me around. We first had dinner of course, at the fucking rooftop and the view looked ecstatic.
" Okay this is the kind of dinner I want my husband to take me on".
" He'll take you to better places, I'm glad you like it here".
" So, what's the reason for this dinner date?".
" I just want to say sorry for all the times I've wronged you, we're about to work together now, won't be good if we have grudges against each other".
" You're right, though you owe me shopping, ice cream, and a vacation trip".
" Greedy girl, I'll add it to my to-do list".
We laughed all night long, had dinner and he showed me around Montenaro, from their art, to their swimming pool and even their clothes section, I'm definitely coming back here for that shopping spree. By the time we got back to the helicopter it was already past 11.
" Thank you for tonight Ethan".
" Pictures?".
We took pictures and videos screaming in the helicopter, I never knew we could have this much chemistry. He dropped me off at home and promised to call, guess he'll get my number the same way he got my address.
I ran to my room and told Carl all about my evening like a little girl who was given cake for the first time, but my excitement was cut short by a phone call, thinking it was Ethan I took the call and screamed
" Holaaaaa!".
But my excitement dropped when the voice wasn't his.
" You sound excited tonight, it's Justin Desmond Sophia, how are you".
