"This tale begins when the God King Ouranos cast his gaze on the mortal realm Gekai."
"The god's beloved, the spirits whom they had prior sent to the Gekai, were doing there best to support the mortals, but they were failing miserably."
"The monsters spawning from the dungeon ran unchecked over the entire land, and mortals dying regularly due to the monsters was fast becoming a common notion."
"And the dungeon left unchecked for so long, spawned the three great beasts, The Leviathan, The Behemoth and The Black Dragon."
"The Gekai was struggling, the mortals relied on the spirits to try to contain the monsters, but were not successful, due to the dungeon spawning monsters continuously."
"Ouranos, the God King thus decreed: ' I will descend to the Gekai and help the mortals fight back against the monsters and the dungeon.' "
"The God King descended to the mortal world while upholding the age old law that God's cannot use their divine abilities in the lower world- Gekai, by sealing his arcanum and divine abilities before his descent."
" Instead he provided his blessings to he mortals, the Falna, so that they can strengthen themselves and fight back against the monsters spawned by the monsters. "
" The people whom he provided his blessings came together and were called a Familia, the Ouranos's Familia. "
" Here, it can't be said that the spirits were not comparable to the Falna's blessings, as it's true that while Falna could be given to even a normal, untalented person and more than one person. "
" But for a spirit to strengthen a person, they needed to perfectly make a fit with the spirit, their abilities, their nature. Only then could the spirits strengthen them."
" But getting the spirits support meant instantly getting stronger, far stronger than when you get a Falna at the beginning. "
" Also the spirits can only support one person per spirit, whereas a God can provide Falna to any number of people."
" Seeing Ouranos provide support to the mortals and the mortals growing stronger and fighting back against the monsters, made some of the other gods in the Tenkai want to descend too. "
" The first one among them to descend was Zeus, and the goddess Hera, who followed behind Zeus. "
" Many other gods followed them thinking of it as a new experience, as they would have their divine powers sealed and experience the life of a mortal. "
" It would be a fresh breath in their eternal lives which had grown stagnant. "
" Due to the newly descended gods also spreading their blessings (Falna) and creating their own Familia's, the adventurers, mortals who received Falna from the gods, were able to push back the monsters into the hole (the dungeon). "
" This was due to a simple reason, by killing the many spawned monsters on the surface, the adventurers would gain excelia, which would strengthen them, allowing them to defeat even stronger monsters, and them to grow stronger infinitely. "
" This created a virtuous cycle, which in just a few ten's of years, the mortals with Falna had created a city around the Dungeon, from which the monsters spawned. "
" Th name of the city was Orario, The Dungeon City. "

" A few years later, a great architect, named Daedalus, from the Ouranos Familia, helped in building a huge tower, known as The Tower of Babel, the one over there, which can be seen from anywhere in Orario. "
The old interrupted the story by pointing his finger in the direction of the tower, which could be seen even from the bridge.
" That tower was created by him under the orders of Ouranos to act as a lid to the dungeon. "
" This marked a change of an era, the time when monsters were able to freely roam the surface was over, now they were now stopped from coming onto the surface and adventurers even began venturing into the dungeon. "
" The members of the Ouranos Familia, voluntarily gave up their Falna and came together to form an organization known as the Guild. "
" The Guild became something along the lines of a governmental body and took up the role to support adventurers who would venture down into the dungeon. "
" Without his Familia members now, the God King Ouranos, slowly vanished from the front lines, no one knows where he is or whether he is still in the mortal world. "
" The new era came to be known in broad as The Familia Myth, with more bored gods and goddesses descending from the Tenkai and forming their own Familia's. "
" Most of the gods / goddesses who came down this time, did not have any noble cause like the ones earlier, instead they descended seeking entertainment, excitement, thrill which they could no longer experience in their eternal life. "
" After all, living as an ageless being for all of eternity quickly becomes boring, unless they had something to do or something which could keep them constantly interested. "
" They went about their own ways, doing whatever interested them, be it becoming a blacksmith or creating a beast tamer familia, or whether it be searching for their Odr, some gods even went as far as to wreak havoc on the mortal world. "
" The only thing keeping these gods in check were Zeus and Hera and their Familia's. "
" The Zeus and Hera Familiar were strong, strong enough to stand undefeated for a thousand years. "
" The deepest floors they explored was recorded as the 71st Floor. "

The old man took a break to soothe his throat, drinking some water from a bottle from his bag, which lay at his side.
"Kids, it's time to go back. The trip was only for half a day. "
Just as he was about to continue his story, an older woman, maybe a nun, as she was wearing a hobbit over her head, interrupted the old man, lead the children away, while giving the old man a small polite nod.
The children, looking at their faces, were reluctant to leave, but still obediently followed the older woman.
Now it was only the two of us there.
We both looked at the children leaving and then at each other awkwardly.
" Ahem, old man, can you continue, I am interested in your tale. What happened to the Zeus and Hera Familia ?"
Trying to clear the awkwardness between us, i asked him to continue his story.
The man feeling thankful for the my words, gave a few coughs and started his story once again.

" This time I'll start by telling you about the mortal world- Gekai and the dungeon and then about the Zeus and Hera Familia's. "
" There are a variety of races in Gekai, some examples are Beast Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Pallums, Spirits and many other races. "
" The beast humans can be further sub divided based on their characteristics like cat people, Chienthrope, bulls, racoon, sheep, werewolf, weretigers. "
" Some more information is that those of the same race must mate with others of the same race to give birth to children. "
" The only exceptions to this are Humans and Amazonesses, who can bear children with any race. "
" Elves have low birthrates compared to the other races due to their long lifespans. "
" There is another interesting fact about elves. "
" Elves are a very proud race, they feel that they are above other races and do not like skin-to-skin contact, most elves even dislike shaking hands with others. "
" Now about the dungeon, what is know is just bits and scraps, it's very well known amoung the adventurers that the dungeon is alive. "
" When you go into the dungeon, it is always looking ways to kill you. "
" The dungeon a thousand years ago, left unchecked; spawned the three great beasts- The Leviathan, The Behemoth and The Black Dragon."
" After the formation of the Dungeon City Orario, the world expected from Orario was the three great quests: the extermination of those three great beasts. "
"Nine years ago, two of these three great quests were completed by the Zeus and the Hera Familia working together. "
"The Zeus and Hera Familia worked together with the Poseidon Familia along with huge boat named Hringhorni, and took down the Leviathan. "
" Next the behemoth was taken down by just the Zeus and Hera Familia's working together. "
"Riding the same wave, both familia went on to fight against the One-Eyed Black Dragon, and were wiped out, only two people escaping from the dragon. "
" It was even widely circulated for a time that those two Familia's even with a Level 9 could not even scratch the One-Eyed Black Monster. "
" Here you may be wondering, why did I tell that the dungeon spawned the Black Dragon and the Zeus and Hera Familia's fought the One- Eyed Black Dragon."
