Character Introduction – Volume 1: The Lonely Artist and the Hidden System

Abid Hasan –

A 22-year-old manga artist living a quiet life in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Once filled with dreams of becoming a famous mangaka, Abid now lives in quiet obscurity, haunted by past failures and loneliness after losing his parents. Gentle, introspective, and deeply creative, he discovers the "Ultimate Manga Selling System," which allows him to sell manga across dimensions. Through his drawings, he slowly begins healing, building unexpected connections with another world.

The System –

An otherworldly interface known as the \[Ultimate Manga Selling System]. It communicates in calm, efficient language and offers Abid missions, upgrades, and sales analytics based on his creative output. Mysterious but supportive, the system nudges Abid toward both artistic and emotional growth. It rewards emotion-driven content, peaceful stories, and deep reader engagement.

Scribe Kairon –

A thoughtful librarian from the fantasy realm of Elderwin, Kairon is one of the first to read Abid's work. Gentle, poetic, and deeply curious about human stories, Kairon becomes a pen-pal-like figure, sending feedback, reader stories, and sketches from his world. He often shares how Abid's stories affect the townspeople.

Children of Elderwin –

Unnamed young readers from the other world who fall in love with Abid's manga. Their letters, drawings, and simple but heartfelt reactions give Abid courage. Some include:

★ A village girl who imagines herself as a flying librarian.

★ A baker's apprentice named Liran who cried reading Soup at the Edge of the Forest.

★ A boy who draws his own version of Abid's traveler character and names him "Shoon."

Dhaka Locals –

Minor slice-of-life characters in Abid's real world:

* The steamed bun vendor near his street, who greets him with a nod each morning.

* An elderly neighbor who waters plants in the corridor and offers quiet smiles.

* Occasional children who peek into his small window, curious about the glowing screen and strange drawings.

Elderwin Realm (Unnamed Figures) –

Background characters from the other world, such as bookshop owners, teachers, and readers, who interact with Abid's manga silently. Their subtle choices—like placing Abid's work in window displays or hosting quiet read-aloud nights—reflect growing appreciation.
