Chapter 32 - Episode 31: Unleashing the Storm

Forest Battlefield – Minutes After the Clash

Lengaza's body shook with adrenaline, his fists trembling. Blood mixed with dirt, but his eyes burned like a storm about to erupt.

Subject Two stood opposite him, undisturbed. He wasn't bleeding, wasn't even breathing heavy.

"Is that all?" Subject Two taunted, his voice like ice.

Lengaza clenched his jaw, his hands sparking with the remnants of his power. His entire body felt like a detonator.

"I'm not done yet."

Flashback: The Training

In a sterile room, deep within the facility's core, Subject Two was always the final test.

Lengaza's trials, in comparison, were almost child's play.

"You want to fight him?" The Director asked, standing behind Lengaza. "You'll break."

Lengaza just stared.

"Then I'll break the whole damn world."

Present – Forest Ruins

Lengaza lunged forward, his energy coiling through his veins like fire. His fist shot out like a missile, and Subject Two didn't move.

They collided.

The earth cracked.

For a split second, everything stopped. The air, the light, the universe itself held its breath.

Then everything exploded.

Elsewhere – Raya, In the Shadow of the Ruins

Raya felt her chest tighten. She could feel them, the pieces of themselves, shattering through the air. She fell to her knees, her palms pressing into the dirt.

"Why can't I just—"

She stopped, eyes widening as the truth hit her like a thousand tons of rock.

She wasn't just watching.

She was part of this chaos.

The air around her shimmered, vibrating.

"I remember…" she whispered, almost too afraid to believe the words.

Suddenly, her body lifted—like a puppet on invisible strings.

"I'm not just part of this. I created it."

The Battlefield – Lengaza and Subject Two

Lengaza was no longer just a soldier. His power expanded, swirling into something raw, primal.

Subject Two smirked, and suddenly, a crimson blade formed in his hand—a blade of pure energy. He swung it down with terrifying speed.

But Lengaza wasn't there.

The air burst as Lengaza teleported behind him—faster than light, his fist crashing into Subject Two's side. The shockwave sent trees flying.

"Is this your best?" Lengaza sneered.

"I'm not here to play, Lengaza," Subject Two said, voice cold as ice. "I'm here to end you."

The two collided again, power rippling outward, turning the forest into a warzone.

Meanwhile – Subject Six, Racing Toward the Chaos

She wasn't running for her life.

She was running to fix it.

"I didn't make him for this," she muttered. "I didn't make him for you."

Her hands sparked with energy—dark energy, the same that had once forged Lengaza.

"This ends now. I will stop him. I will stop you both."

Her footsteps echoed in the woods, fading into the chaos she was about to face.
