As Kaal drifts through the infinite cosmos, his thoughts flow aggressively like a waterfall, wondering why I am being punished for doing nothing. Where have I been thrown to? How long will this fall continue? I can't see the bottom, top, walls, support, or reference.
.
[kaal]
How much time had passed since I was thrown into this cosmic fall? Slowly, I think I am missing parts of my memories, as if someone or something is trying to erase them.
And what was this blue illuminating smoke surrounding my body? I sure remember that I don't have this thing surrounding me.
I used various ways to touch and bite it and tried to manipulate it by assuming it was my aura, like in fiction stories (even though that was an utter fail ).
I don't remember how much time has passed; it may have passed centuries, but I don't know much.
All I remember is that I am floating in this cosmos....
Huh, what is cosmos? How do I know its name?
Day by day, the illuminating smoke on my body fades away
I can't feel my limbs or any part of my body.
Another week passed..
Slowly, my vision faded, and until now, I was conversing with myself.
Now. I can't even remember many words.
Am I even losing my existence? Is every soul degraded just like me after it dies in the human world? It's just too....
Kaal lost everything that says who he was and what he was, and his soul was moulded into a tear shape.
And at one split second, when the day was changing in other worlds, the sudden jolt from his soul shook the path he crossed; his soul went into deep slumber. From that moment, the blue illuminating from his soul began to rise again, shielding him as if protecting him.
Suddenly, the space cracked and interpreted the path leading to dimensional slip, and Kaal's soul dashed forward, dashed onto a big planet, and vanished.
Kaal's punishment of numerous loops of reincarnation started on this planet, TRETHA. It is a planet where scientific technology hasn't yet been introduced.
At a far distance from the city, a town called ANDHA. The whole village was built under a single tree.
They regard it as the world tree, but it's just a normal tree that showed abnormal growth, nothing special.
Within a pitch black surroundings are the playful giggles of children playing nearby.
A suffocating little being just gained consciousness, kicking around for air, after complex struggles, cracking sounds were heard, bright light and a clear loud sound were echoed.
That's precisely how Kaal started his first step, being born as a bird.
His soul energy was messed with because of the cosmos' dimensional particles. The memories engraved through his previous life were all sealed, not erased, because the god punished him with the curse of repenting through life, exploring various emotions and situations, and the importance of people relying on each other.
But why was he born as a bird when all his redemption conditions are related to the lifestyle of human beings?
After Kaal is born as a bird, the blue aura in his soul slips through him and merges with the unborn egg in the same nest.
A week passed
Kaal, who was reborn into a bird, has finally opened his eyes, along with his fellow siblings.
He learned that he was a TRISVARA, the only bird species very close to the human species due to their understanding of human life.
The mother bird feeds them and keeps them warm when they are sleeping.
The place ANDHA was a place that tested every living being to their limits because of the firm and harsh winter, heavy thunderstorms, water scarcity, and especially the heat in summer.
The tall tree in the middle of the town is the only reason the ANDHA was still kicking with life.
And that's where every fauna resides, taking shelter on it.
On the second day after his birth
, his mother bird named them all according to the will they showed to survive, appearance and the chirps they made
. He was named Reno.
Reno felt some feeling that purged into his soul
[reno]
Mama, am I gonna die now? I can't feel a thing but a hot steam escaping from my body
[mother TRISVARA]
no reno
There is a myth that every TRISVARA is carried through the blood.
Every living thing knows that, back in the days, our ancestors had the power to travel the upper ( Heaven ), middle (Earth) and lower ( hell ).
We must pass the prophecy to the people, from the lower to the upper realms.
Due to one of our kin crossing the line and sharing some secrets of the divine realms, our race was cursed to lose its powers and shorten its lifespan.
[reno]
Mom, what was that secret that made our kin get cursed?
There is a lot of food in one nest, which would be cool.
[mother TRISVARA]
That secret was a secret to even our kin, Reno.
Because that story was told by a kind woman I met while finding an answer.
[reno]
What's the answer, Mom? Is that a worm that you bought this morning? If so, that was wholesome. With a single one, my stomach filled like I don't have to eat forever.
[mother TRISVARA]
no reno
Question means when you find some unknown thing, mysterious situations and curiosity to learn what lies behind that, where the things start to make amazing scenarios like colourful clouds during sunset, we always use what, why, how and where.
You questioned me about what the question was, remember ? Hahah..
[reno]
hooo...
[mother TRISVARA]
And answer means, what satisfies your question reasonably, like what I said to you to say Hooo... \, got it.
[reno]
Mama, what question do you have before travelling so much to get an answer? And did you get your answer?
[mother TRISVARA]
There was a time when every one of us got those questions in life, so wait until time brings up the question to you.
But Mom, why is this reho clinging to me like that? Does he have poor health, or is that the bird flu
No, no, Reno, it seems he likes you more than your siblings.
As his big brother, can you teach him things that he doesn't know
Yes, Mom, leave it to Reno
.
.
As the sun sets
(crying echoed from Reno nest)
a group of people crying in front of a house where an old human lady was lying dead.
[reno]
Why are they crying over an old, dead lady
Mom once said everyone must die at one point, and that's unavoidable.
If she is dead, she's dead. What's the reason they are crying in front of a body?
Why do they all look like that? They are not smiling, I know that for sure, but why is this atmosphere around them so heavy??
Why is that?
That's the first question that piqued Reno's curiosity in this world.
