Corrupted Forest.
Learning that Emilia possessed incredibly high Ice Magic Mastery, Elliot decided to train her towards becoming an Ice Archmage.
Unfortunately, Elliot could currently only acquire skills from game worlds; he couldn't yet break through dimensional barriers to obtain skills from manga worlds. Therefore, the skill Elliot could bestow upon Emilia was also from a game.
Kamisato Art: Soumetsu! (Ayaka's Elemental Burst)
Kamisato Ayaka's ultimate. As a character who existed since Genshin Impact's closed beta, her official release was still eagerly awaited by countless players. Some had even hoarded tens of thousands of primogems just waiting for her.
After Emilia consumed the World Bubble containing [Kamisato Art: Soumetsu], he used Appraisal on her again. Let's see the results.

Skill Points: 5000
Titles: [Cryo Elementalist], [Witch of Envy]
These base stats... were luxurious! At Level 3, having 132 Magic Power... almost no one at the same level could compare to her. As expected of a genius born with Magic Supremacy!
Especially the two titles, [Cryo Elementalist] and [Witch of Envy] both were growth-type titles. As Emilia leveled up, her future strength would become even more formidable.
Interestingly, Emilia didn't have the n%I=W skill. This meant she wasn't a reincarnator, but a genuine native of this world. Though not a reincarnator, her innate stats already rivaled most of them.
Next, Elliot skipped over the skills and looked at her titles. In this world, titles were often far more important than individual skills.
Just like when he himself awakened as the Rex Lapis Dragon Emperor, his three characteristic titles had provided significant boosts.
[Witch of Envy] was a title similar to Magic Supremacy, providing Magic Power while also imbuing all the holder's attacks with a [Suffering] status effect. While under [Suffering], mental strength would continuously weaken.
Only [Heresy Nullification] could grant immunity. Elliot was quite interested in this title; an enchantment effect that targeted both soul and mind was very rare.
But he was quickly drawn to the next title.
[Cryo Elementalist]: A mage who controls the element of ice, possessing powerful cryo magic abilities. Casting ice-attribute magic receives a massive boost. Holders of this title will gain continuous mana regeneration in extremely cold environments and are granted the [Eternity] characteristic.
[Eternity]: Divine soul endures. After physical body perishes, a new body can be forged from ice and snow. This characteristic unlocks at Level 30 and above!
Kumoko also saw this title. Her mood deflated a little. This girl's two titles are both so amazing! Never mind Witch of Envy, but this Cryo Elementalist even has a special characteristic! And because the characteristic is so overpowered, it needs Level 30 to unlock! That's cheating!
Never mind all that. The [Godspeed] skill that D had given her back then was now a dime-a-dozen ability; plenty of high-level monsters had it.
Like her own mother, who was a [Godspeed LV 10] master, much faster than her. So, seeing this title skill, Kumoko was green with envy. It wasn't fair! Where was the justice in this world?!
If she had started with such titles and skills, her early days wouldn't have been so miserable! A twinge of jealousy pricked at Kumoko.
It wasn't that she was narrow-minded; anyone in her shoes would feel a little unbalanced. Elliot was a reincarnator like her, so having cheats was normal.
But Emilia was a native without the n%I=W skill, yet she seemed to have cheats too!
After consuming Elliot's World Bubble, Emilia's entire demeanor changed drastically. If before she was like an outcast, now she finally seemed... like a normal person.
At the same time, thanks to the healing power from Elliot's Dendro Gnosis, the wound on Emilia's leg healed instantly.
The finger-long gash on her fair ankle vanished without even a scar. The Dendro Gnosis's healing power wasn't overwhelmingly strong powerful healing magic in this world could supposedly regrow limbs even if only a head remained but its advantage was that it had no side effects and completely erased all traces of injury, leaving no flaws.
Moreover, Emilia's originally frail body now seemed infused with vitality. A healthy, rosy color appeared on her pale cheeks.
Then, Elliot pointed to an old tree and said to Emilia, "Use the power I gave you. Hit that spot with it."
Hearing she had to destroy a tree, Emilia instantly became conflicted. "I can't, Lord Elliot! Trees have life!" Elves highly valued the environment.
They not only forbade themselves from destroying trees but also prevented others from doing so.
Interestingly, however, if lightning caused a natural forest fire, elves wouldn't extinguish it, believing it to be Mother Nature's wrath.
Even if a simple elven spell could put out the fire, they wouldn't interfere. Many times, such forest fires would burn for months.
In short, for a half-elf like Emilia, destroying a tree wasn't just a 500-coin fine; it would result in various severe punishments. And she genuinely believed trees had life, so she was unwilling to attack them.
Seeing her hesitation, Elliot raised an eyebrow.
"Trees indeed have life. Other plants and animals also have life. You've probably eaten mushrooms, sipped nectar, and tasted fruits they are all products of nature."
"By your logic, if a fruit is the child of a tree, and you can eat the tree's child without hesitation, then killing the tree itself shouldn't require much reluctance either."
"Besides, do you know how many ants you've stepped on, how many bacteria you've swatted? The paths you've walked were once places where plants thrived. But because you compacted the soil, they can no longer grow. Aren't you then a sinner against nature?"
"Since you're already a sinner, what more is there to be concerned about?" Elliot rattled off a stream of specious reasoning.
Kumoko, standing nearby, rolled her eyes. That's complete nonsense. Who considers bacteria as individual lives?
But for Emilia, these ideas were novel, something she had never heard before.
"Suppose one day, this tree gains sentience, stands up, and tries to whip me with its roots. How would you choose to use your magic then?" Elliot continued.
"Help... you," Emilia said with certainty on this point.
Seeing his words had an effect, Elliot pointed to the large tree ahead and then said in a commanding tone, "Alright then. For my sake, destroy that tree."
If it were for herself, Emilia definitely wouldn't dare attack the tree. But if it was for Lord Elliot... she was willing to do it. And Elliot's words had given her a reason!
"B-But..." Emilia became a little flustered. "I don't have a staff right now. I don't know how to cast magic." Reincarnators could use skills as soon as they obtained them.
But unlike reincarnators, native creatures, even if they gained a skill, were limited by [Proficiency] and might not be able to use it immediately.
Elliot nodded. He remembered that the human Ronandt used a staff to help cast his spells. He raised his hand.
CRASH— A tall tree fell with a loud thud. Emilia was so scared she immediately crouched down, looking terrified. She hadn't expected Elliot to act so decisively, directly destroying a tree. In the Forest Nation, this was absolutely a capital crime!
But Elliot paid it no mind. So many trees, what's the big deal about cutting down a few? He then touched the fallen tree, and with an infusion of divine power, all the tree's life force instantly condensed into a single branch.
Elliot broke off this branch and affixed an Intertwined Fate (a Genshin gacha currency item, likely just flavor here for a gem) to it. Just like that, a staff was complete.
"You try it." Elliot handed the staff to Emilia.
Though still reluctant, Emilia gritted her teeth, aimed at the large tree, and unleashed her strongest magic.
Kamisato Art: Soumetsu!
"Please forgive me, Mother Nature!" she whispered, then unleashed the skill!
Emilia had never cast high-level magic before. The largest-scale magic she had ever used was in winter, when she used her own mana to freeze her tree hollow shut to protect herself from the cold.
So, when she activated the ability Elliot had given her, she had no idea how immense its power would be!
[Kamisato Art: Soumetsu] manifested as three savage, swirling crescent blades of ice, each with a radius of five meters.
The ice blades spread outwards, shredding everything in their path trees, grass, all were torn apart. The sharpness of the ice blades was no less than that of a rock crusher's blades. Anything caught by them was instantly pulverized into a pile of debris.
And because of the super-low temperature accompanying the ice blades, this debris was also instantly frozen, becoming extremely brittle. A gust of wind would turn it into white powder.
If this had hit a human instead of a tree, it would be like being thrown directly into a cement mixer. The [Kamisato Art: Soumetsu] Elliot had given her was a Level 10 skill. Its power was naturally immense.
