A group of students from her school walks in.

The group approaches the cash register.
As she scans the items, one of the girls in the group speaks up.
"Hey, I swear I've seen you somewhere before?"
"Yeah, now that you mention it, I think I have too."
"Oh, right! She's that weird emo girl who always sits alone in Spanish class. I remember she had some weird-ass name."
"I'M NOT EMO, I'M GOTH—THERE'S A FUCKING DIFFERENCE! AND MARS IS A PERFECTLY NORMAL NAME!"
"Mars is anything but normal. You're literally named after a planet. Who the hell names their kid that? Astronauts?"
One of the boys chimes in.
"Can you stop talking to this emo bitch already? She sits by herself for a reason. Let her scan the shit and we'll leave."
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING AN EMO BITCH!?" Mars shouts.
The supermarket manager bursts out from the back.
"What the hell is going on out here!?"
The room goes silent until one of the girls quickly speaks up.
"Your employee just randomly started yelling at us for no reason."
"Boss, that's not what happened—I—"
"You're fired!"
Didn't even get a chance to explain myself. Fucking lovely.
Now I'm friendless, labeled some creepy emo kid, and unemployed.
Yeah… this school year's already shaping up to be a fucking disaster.
