I rested against the edge of the pool as Dune swam over to me. I watched with lust as his head broke out of the water, his now wet hair dripping water on his face, his luscious red lips, his elegant smooth neck, his chest, those abs... I trailed off as he neared me. He raised up his hand and traced his forefinger over my eyebrows, my eyes, my nose then my lips. My lips parted in anticipation on what I knew was coming next. His hand sneaked to the back of my head and guided my face towards his. As his head tilted down to meet mine, a shrill ringing echoed around us and I bolted upright in bed panting.

It was a dream. I realized with a sigh. I hit my alarm clock's snooze button and fell back to the bed.

Ohmygosh! I had totally forgotten about him! I had promised to call him after dinner last night but I had slept off. Man, am a terrible girlfriend!.
The call had ended and less than three seconds later it started ringing again.
I finally answered the phone and placed it at my ear sitting up.
"Hey", I greeted nervously as I walked towards the bathroom.
"Hey babe. Good morning. Guessing by your tone, you just woke up". He said with his signature chuckle that didn't sound quite as enticing as it has always been before yesterday.
"Yeah," I agreed in a low voice as I picked up my new toothbrush.
"So, how's your dad?" He asked and in a low whisper added, "And your evil stepmom?".
I actually gave a snort at that.
"She's really not that bad. Kinda amazing actually and she has a son".
He whistled at this.
"Glad to know that you now have an annoying younger brother like me. Now you'll know my pain".
I giggled a little as I spat out toothpaste.
"Actually... he's older than me"
"...now that's fucked up"
"Yeah. So, how's your summer break going? Met any hot chicks yet?", I teased.
" Ha, Ha. Like I could ever have eyes on another girl while I have you".
" Aww, how sweet", He proceeded to tell me all the things I'd missed , till I heard a knock on the door.
" Hey Rick, am gonna call you later. Bye Babe, after that I hung up and stepped out of the bathroom. I walked to the door and swung it open.
Standing there was Dune, looking hotter than ever!
"Hey, Good Morning there sleepy head".
I was suddenly aware of how horrible I probably looked right now. I subconsciously ran a hand through my bed hair but my hand got tangled up in the mess. I jerked my hand away and I could swear my face was as red as a tomato but Dune paid it no mind.
"Hi", I said at last.
"So, wanna join me for a dip in the pool? It's really hot and my parents just left for work".
My mind immediately flashed back to my dream. Shit.
"Um, pool?".
"Yeah, our outdoor pool". He saw my hesitation, "You can swim right?". He asked curiously.
"Pfft. Off course. Um, see you in five. I meant five minutes". I rushed out and slammed the door in his face.
