VEDANT RAJPUT POV

I was running after my friend but suddenly a girl bumped into me and her sketch book fell over the ground

I was going to yelled at her but when our eyes met, my anger lost and replace something.... I'm lost in her, mesmerizing her

For a moment, everything else fades. The noise dulls, the world sharpens. A stray beam of sunlight catches in my hair, Our eyes hold something impossible to define—something magnetic. It's not just attraction; it's a pull, a certainty that this person matters, even before a single word is spoken.

Why It's felt I know her Somehow She's looking familiar

Her constellation-blue eyes locked with mine, casting a silence louder than any noise. Those heart-shaped lips, that glowing skin—she wasn't just pretty, she was poetry in motion. The crimson council blazer with gold edges clung to her like it belonged; the white skirt with its soft blue trim danced around her legs, while black thigh-high socks led into neat brown shoes. Her long black hair, tied with a blue bow, flicked like a spell in motion. I swear, even her hands looked like they'd never known a flaw. She didn't walk into the hallway—she owned it. And I? I was already losing.

"Ahh!"she said while pressing her temple and bending down to collect papers from the floor

This's not just a attraction something more - something deepen, a feeling that I couldn't explained in any words except Love not Vedant Singh rajput don't know how to do feel for someone but something unsettled in my chest -- is it curiosity or.....!

"bhai you're staring her like a obessesive ashiq,"My friend whispered into my ear and I shot him a death glare.

"Oh—I'm sorry, I didn't see—" she started softly, bending down to grab her book.

ufff her voice

Ritik peeked from behind the pillar. "Brooo… did your secret girlfriend just crash into you?"

I glared.

"I'll punch you later," I muttered without looking back.

I bent down, grabbed her sketch before she could and handover to her

"No I'm sorry" I retorted but her eyes widen in disbelief

Isn't this how a gentleman should behave!

My friend giving me a look he saw another person instant of me.

I scratch the back of my neck "what's your n-"I paused, A familiar sound broke the moment.

"Waha kya kar rahi ho jaldi Aao"

(what are you doing there, come quickly)

I look at my friend he was sweating like devil is just stood in front of him, colour drained from his face and without wasting any moment he run away.

I don't have to turn away to look at the speaker, because my friend reaction told me -- she's here

Her.

My ex–best friend. My partner-in-crime. The infamous school devil Princess

After elementary, we stopped contacting each other

And now we both can't stand up in same place without any argument

But the most unexpected reaction?

The girl stood in front of me—the one I couldn't stop staring at. Her face glowed with joy, unbothered by the fear that usually followed the devil's presence, she chuckled

"coming!"

She had a laugh of an angle that put a smile one me but it was in my heart, not my face, but why she smiled for her?

Even my body stiffened in shock hearing her voice but

why she's not scared like others? don't tell me they are.....friends!

she began to walk beside me, muttering something under her breath her scent leaving a trail of chaos behind

"Ruko"I called out, my voice calm but commanding.

(wait)

She paused relutantly

turning halfway to face me

"yes"

"your bracelet" I said, holding her bracelet that had slipped from her hand.

she hesitated, then snatched the bracelet from me, her fingers brushing mine slightly.

The moment lingers, fragile yet powerful. Maybe neither knows of Us what to say, But that's for sure something significant just happened.

My gaze follow her until she disappeared, I didn't know her name, but something about her make me intrigued me.

PRAKRITI MALHOTRA POV

The sunlight filtered in through the tall classroom windows, casting golden beams across the silent desks. The ticking of the wall clock was painfully loud—each second dragging longer than the last. My fingers tapped restlessly on the wooden desk as I slouched in my seat, chin resting on my palm.

"Oh Anaya, I'm so bored!" I groaned for the fifteenth time, stretching like a lazy cat across the desk. My voice dripped with frustration as I tilted my head back, staring dramatically at the ceiling. It had been two long hours since I stormed out of the principal's office—and ever since, my mood had been rotting like yesterday's lunchbox.

"Chill, Kriti. We still have two more free periods to go," Shanaya replied in her voice, soft and sugary like cotton candy.

But—wait... what?!

"TWO MORE?! Oh no!" I practically yelled, my voice echoing loud enough to grab every single gaze in the room. Students turned and stared.

Did I care? Not even slightly.

After what happened earlier, the principal's office—once my cozy little lair—was now my version of a haunted house.

"I can't stand this boring, bookworm air anymore!" I muttered under my breath, dramatically flicking my hair.

With a loud thud, I stood up, slamming my desk for effect. My eyes snapped to Anaya, mischief brewing like a storm.

"Let's go to Ishi's class!" I declared with a smirk.

"Par… she—" Anaya tried to speak, unsure.

(Translation: "But… she—")

Too late. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her along without waiting for a reply.

"Kriti! Wait—shouldn't we at least inform the class monitor?" she asked, her voice laced with nervous concern.

"Why fear when Prakriti is here?" I winked, letting go of her hand to swing an arm over her shoulder with practiced flair.

"Okay, okay, let's go," she giggled, giving in.

As we strolled down the hallway and peeked into Ishika's class, a grin crept onto my face. The teacher's chair sat empty.

Bingo. Just how I wanted it.

"Hey, Ishi! What's up?" I called out, marching toward her desk like a queen entering her kingdom. She was surrounded by her usual gang, deeply immersed in solving some math problem.

"Ye padhaku keede bhi na…" I mumbled with a shake of my head, amused by the nerd fest.

(Translation: "These study worms, I swear…")

"Hey, didi!" Ishika waved at me cheerfully from her seat.

"Hello, Ishi," Anaya added with her usual grace as we reached her.

There was one empty chair between them. I flopped onto it like I owned the space.

"Looks like you both have a free period?" Ishika asked while scooting her books aside to make room for Anaya.

"Yeah… and Kriti insisted we come here so…" Anaya started to explain.

"It's okay, Anaya. I was getting bored anyway," Ishika smiled gently, patting her on the shoulder.

I turned toward a couple of girls sitting nearby and waved. "Hey!"

Their reaction?

Terrified glances and one shaky wave.

I Sigh. The fear was so unnecessary.

I looked back at Ishika and Anaya, now chatting about some new fashion trend.

I shook my head, sighed, and leaned back with dramatic flair. "Huff…"

"What happened, didi?" Ishika asked, glancing at me while still half into the convo.

I stood so suddenly that my chair scraped the floor with a loud thunk.

"Kriti! Are you okay?" Anaya asked, genuine concern in her voice.

"No!" I snapped, pure frustration written across my face.

"Zyada drama mat kar, aur bata—Dadu ne tujhe bulaya kyun tha?" came a familiar sarcastic voice.

(Translation: "Stop being so dramatic and just tell us—why did Dadu call you?")

I turned to see Shivi, smirking with her arms crossed.

"How do you know?" Anaya asked, her curiosity sparking.

"Behen hoon inki. Sab jaanti hoon," Shivi said proudly, flicking her hair.

(Translation: "I'm her sister. I know everything.")

"Ab bata bhi do, di!" she added, nudging me.

(Translation: "Now tell us, di!")

"Yes, Kriti. Spill the tea!" Anaya chimed in, eyes twinkling.

I took a deep breath, shook my head slightly, and finally muttered:

"Vo… hua ye tha ki…"

(Translation: "So… what happened was…")
