Chapter 2 - 2

During the journey, Zixin didn't speak a single word and simply closed his eyes as if he were asleep.

Perhaps in a few more dozen minutes, they would arrive at Future Tekno. Mo Yu was also very wise—before arriving, he had already contacted his subordinates to inform them that the young master was coming so that everyone could be prepared in advance.

Yes, like opening the gates and doors of the company so they could enter. This company was very strict about outsiders entering.

If someone wasn't an employee or staff member, they weren't allowed to enter, even if they held a high-ranking position—unless they had a specific reason.

There was no reason to enter without a purpose. No reason to force one's way in.

In fact, that wasn't the only reason. Future Tekno was an independent research company.

Inside, there were secret research laboratories managed by Zixin in secret. Not many people knew about them—one of them was located in a highly confidential underground facility.

It wasn't biological research, but energy research—focused on how energy could grant a person unknown powers.

Last year, Zixin achieved a breakthrough in how nanotechnology could integrate with human cells, and it was truly astonishing. With this, humans could gain additional energy that would support their cells and potentially cure difficult diseases in the future. That's why he's currently focused on creating new breakthroughs.

This research relied only on him and a few trusted individuals. Officially, the company appeared to be researching various resources like chips, electrical energy, and R&D technology.

But only he and a select few knew that he was researching something that could change the fate of humanity in the future.

"Great people do great things"—this saying is not wrong, because humans always want to understand everything, even if they know it might be dangerous and life-threatening.

The research is ongoing and has reached a critical point.

According to him, if this research is successful, what he needs to do is perfect it and apply it to the human body after testing whether it's safe or not. And for the experiment, they have agreed to use themselves as test subjects, it's not possible to take risks with other people's lives. Previously, they have also conducted experiments on several types of animals and it's been safe, but it's unknown whether it's safe for humans. If Zixin wanted to do something bad, he could use his money to find someone who would do anything for money, but he's not that kind of person. He prefers to make himself the first person to try it, because he's the one who discovered it, and of course, if he's successful, it would be great, and if not, at least he wouldn't feel guilty if something happens to others if he gives up on it.

After entering, Zixin smiled, "This nano technology will change the world... or at least change my life." Mo Yu shook his head and thought to himself, "You're too ambitious, young master." But this is the young master he knows. After bathing and changing into special research attire, Zixin began working. The room is filled with holographic screens that look quite sci-fi. He meets and greets several of his research colleagues. There are 5 people in this room, including himself, Mo Yu is not included because he's not part of this. The other four are two men and two women, all of whom are highly experienced experts.

"Boss, I found something here," a beautiful red-haired woman shouted to Zixin and the other three. In front of her, a blue holographic screen displays complex data with numbers and letters that would be incomprehensible to ordinary people. Zixin and the other three immediately gathered around the woman. Without waiting for Zixin to ask, the woman continued, "These cells magically change color to gold when combined with our blood cells. But it doesn't last long, and when our blood cells die, these nano cells will disappear along with them."

Zixin pondered for a moment and said, "That means these cells can only be activated when the person is still alive, and if someone dies, these cells will also disappear. Continue researching..." The woman nodded, and Zixin and the other three returned to their respective workstations and continued working. Now that success is within reach, how can these people relax?

After a full day, Zixin and his colleagues still couldn't solve the problem of how to break through this issue. It seems like the research has hit a roadblock, despite the technology and equipment here being the best in the world. They need to be patient... Zixin reminded himself. Even though he's a genius, there are some things that are definitely difficult to achieve without going through a long process first. And this technology won't work without Zixin's contribution. It's like a technology that can only be developed 50 years from now, and it's not without risks. If successful, it will have a significant impact, it will change the paradigm significantly.

Let's explore the impact of Zixin's research on the world:

Positive Impact:

1. Cure for rare and chronic diseases.

2. Improved quality of human life.

3. Extended lifespan.

4. Enhanced physical and mental abilities.

5. Revolution in the field of medicine and health.

Negative Impact:

1. Dependence on nano technology.

2. Security and privacy risks.

3. Unequal access to technology.

4. Unforeseen environmental impacts.

5. Misuse of technology for unethical purposes.

Ethical Consequences:

1. Use of technology to manipulate or control.

2. Questions about immortality and the meaning of life.

3. Religious and spiritual implications.

4. Scientist's responsibility towards discovery.

5. Government oversight and regulation.

Social Impact:

1. Changes in societal structure.

2. Impact on the global economy.

3. Changes in social values.

4. Conflict between pro and anti-technology groups.

5. Influence on education and research.

And of course, this research is not being conducted officially. It means it's illegal! But if he reveals what he's achieved so far, it will arouse humanity's greed. Humans are indeed very greedy for everything and will never be satisfied. Although Zixin is also human, he feels that human nature is disgusting in certain ways. Therefore, when choosing people to participate in this research, he's been screening them among thousands of researchers, investigating their character and of course, their abilities. For now, he's choosing to wait and see how it develops and not rush, so he can get more perfect results. This is what he's thinking. (To be continued)
