' My Mastery system....a system that I created so that I wouldn't have to master skills the old fashioned way because I didn't have time.' I thought grinning or tried to anyway.
The system works in a way that I'm able to earn skill points through specific actions that generate 'Ord' which is the term of the phenomenon that I've named what all systems use to grow themselves.
This Ord is what all systems are after when they host inside humans, they make them do quests or other actions that will generate them a special type of energy that they can use to do a plethora of fantastical things and even create items of legends with.
Of course my system wasn't built to grow or even had any sentience at all, I built it to allow myself instant mastery over skills I wanted to learn.
It was barebones for a system but i used the little resources I had at the moment to create it so it wasn't that bad as what other mortal can say that they created a system from scratch?.
So with just a thought I immediately brought up the systems only function.

Seeing this I smiled as it seemed that I had already generated 'ord' earning me 10 Skill points I could use to level up my skills.
But wanting to make sure that it still worked the same I added a point in [burrow] and watched as it leveled up.
With this came a wave of new understanding, mastery and knowledge as I suddenly knew how to use the skill better then what was advertised.
I knew how to look for the perfect place to dig for maximum efficiency and how to to rapidly burrow myself in earth.
' Definitely still works....' I muttered to myself groggily.
Opening my Status once more I saw that a little update had been made on it.

It was a small change that only now showed me my bio-mass count.
Seeing as that was done I then returned to my conundrum, how the fuck was I supposed to survive.
Firstly and foremost, I was blind.
I could sense a couple life-forces around me yes but at the end of the day, I was blind.
I would have to rectify that, either through evolution or by trying to find other means to replace that sense.
But for now, o had to try and survive.
And then another conundrum occured to me.
I had no limbs, like none at all.
If I had to describe myself from what I felt of myself then I would say that I was a larva...with a maw of teeth and no eyes.
I don't know how good that description is but that's the best I could make of myself.
' Fuck...I wish I atleast nutted before I got to this shithole...' I thought with a sigh before I tried squirming towards the nearest lifeform and immediately used my skill.

I saw a damage counter appear just at the corner of my eyes and knowing fully well how much HP these motherfuckers had by cross referencing mine I decided to use all available points on that one skill.
Opening my Skill List while ignoring the larva that squirmed infront of me I proceeded to max out my [Bite] skill.

Seeing the screen I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
' I don't remember my system allowing my skills to evolve....or maybe that was restricted due to my world being stricter or something.' I thought to myself as I knew that each world was gorvened by a different set of mysterious rules that made some things that were easily achieved on some world to be close to impossible on another.
But of the two choices I was given I of course chose the second.

And so immediately I gained the benefits of dumping 9 points into a single skill as I gained a plethora of knowledge on simply biting things, I even gained knowledge on how to bite and chew things rapidly to make way for me to bite again.
But after that dump of mastery I also gained knowledge on how to infuse my bites with energy and in my case, mana.
Deciding to test it I opened my maw and activated the skill felling as my mana slowly channelled out of my chest area where my 'Core' probably was and make an almost instant trip into the needed mana veins located in my mouth area and muscles before I delivered the bite and it almost felt like I bit through the softest material on the world as I couldn't even feel the flesh on my teeth and only the taste of a strengely good tasting liquid on my tongue.

Getting pulled out of my euphoria ride I looked at the new screen and then opened my status again and looked at the level section.

' So I need 9 more kills?' I thought with a shrugg before I went on a started a massacre not at all caring that I was essentially killing my brothers and sisters.
