When Veronica and Sophia heard the door open they looked up and automatically smiled at Cassie
"Cassie you're here" Veronica said happily
Cassie had told them that since they're friends,they should call her by her name
Sophia eyes landed on the man behind Cassie and she raises her brow 'isn't this... Mr Adrian?'
Cassie and Veronica notice her gave and followed, Adrian was just standing like he wasn't being stared at
Some might mistake him for a body guard
"Oh,,this is my friend Adrian, Adrian this is Veronica and Sophia also my friends" the way she introduced, you'd think this was some business stuff between cold people
Sophia and Veronica bow politely "nice to meet you Mr Adrian"
Cassie wanted to sigh but found it stressful, Adrian kept a straight face "nice to meet you too" Cassie would have facepalmed herself 'dont he knows to smile'
After a while of talking and Cassie knowing if there was any problem,she and Adrian took their leave
All through he had been so quiet that Cassie had to glance at him
It's not like he she wanted him to talk but she felt this grown man was sulking
In the car,it was no difference, even after they tech the villa
Cassie didn't seem to want to get off so Adrian looked at her,she was also looking at him
"Is something wrong?" Adrian shook his head "nothing's wrong"
Cassie turned and was about to open the car door
"I thought after last night,maybe you'd consider us as more than friends"
Cassie stopped in her tracks 'so that's what he's sulking about' she sits straight and raise 2 fingers "give me 2 weeks and I'll give you an answer" with that she left,she stepped out, glanced at him up and down before closing the door, Adrian sighed inside the car and waited for Cassie to go into the villa before driving off
When Cassie reached the villa,she went upstairs to Divine and Peter room
She knocks on the door and divine opened it "Cassie? You're back early"
"Mom,it's 3 in the afternoon"
"Really"
Cassie sighed "can I come in"
Her mom opened the door wide and let Cassie walk in before closing it
Peter was busy on the phone while standing close to the bed,he seemed to be on a serious phone call so Cassie and Divine sat quietly on the bed
After a while he cut the call and looked at his wife and child sitting so obediently and couldn't help but smile "is something wrong"
Cassie shakes her head "it's just,I plan on moving out tomorrow"
Divine and Peter were surprised
"Why?what happened?" Peter asked while sitting next to Cassie
"I want to move in with Adrian" though her words were cold there was a hint of happiness in it
"But, didn't you guys just meet" Divine asked nervously
"No mom,the truth is I've know Adrian since highschool but a few obstacles came and so we separated but now things are good"
Cassie didn't exactly lie,she just summarized everything in one way
The parents weren't aware of this before but somehow this made them calm down,both of them look at each other and as if speaking to each other,after a few seconds they nod "you can go" both said at the same time
"But you have to come visit" Divine added
"Sure, I'd visit"
Lisa was outside the room listening in on their conversation,when she heard her parents agree,tears started streaming down her face
That evening Cassie arranged her bags but didn't sleep, instead she was busy watching a girl acting 'me and you together'
