Chapter 351 - Cenarius

Malfurion led Galen and the others to Cenarius.

The surrounding bunnies and fawns weren't shy; they simply made way for the group before lying down to rest, seemingly feeling quite safe here.

Malfurion ended his transformation, and Galen and the others dismounted their steeds in advance. The three artificially tamed nightsabers obediently walked to the edge, showing no agitation even though the surrounding small animals were on their menu.

Several small birds landed on Galen and the others' shoulders. Sylvanas reached out to touch a bird, startling it into flight.

But when Galen touched a bird, using his new ability—the aura of the Druid—the bird not only didn't flee, but affectionately rubbed its head against Galen's cheek.

"Master, I've returned, bringing three friends from afar."

"This is Galen, this is Sylvanas, and this is Alleria."

Malfurion introduced his new friends to Cenarius.

Cenarius stood up, his form immense. His upper body resembled a night elf, but his lower body was that of a stag. His eyes were golden, and his long, moss-green hair hung down to his shoulders, with leaves and tender branches growing in his hair and beard.

Cenarius had two enormous and imposing antlers on his head, making him appear even taller. Galen estimated that the Lord of the Forest was at least close to four meters in height.

Malfurion told his mentor about his encounter with Galen, revealing Galen's origins and some of the things they had discussed the previous night.

The Lord of the Woodlands listened carefully to his composed disciple's story, and he also noticed the birds' affectionate behavior towards Galen, a stranger, which piqued his interest.

After Malfurion finished speaking, Cenarius stepped forward on his four thick hooves. The lush flowers and plants on the ground tilted to either side under his hooves, as if the plants were giving way to him or he was unwilling to trample them.

"I am Cenarius!" The demigod of nature approached Galen: "Welcome to my domain. I am the demigod of the woodlands you seek."

"Powerful demigod of nature, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Galen!" Galen didn't add 'Remar' after his name. Although Cenarius wasn't a demigod known for his combat prowess—easily killed by Hellscream's axe if caught off guard—his love for nature and his protection of Azeroth were genuine, and Galen felt admiration.

"I sense you're thinking something discourteous, young one." The Lord of the Woodlands tilted his head, his face covered in whiskers, and scrutinized Galen.

Galen possessed the aura of arcane magic, but Cenarius didn't suspect any disguise magic. He simply assumed that Galen, being of high elf origin, learning the arcane arts was normal.

"Not at all, great Forest God."

Galen quickly banished any impolite thoughts. After all, even a powerful being like the abyss lord Mannoroth had died by Grom Hellscream's leap and strike. Under the Gorehowl, all are equal.

Each demigod had their own area of expertise, and they were all important to Azeroth. Galen shouldn't simply judge their strength based on combat power.

"We've traveled a long way to see you," Galen said, looking up at Cenarius. "You guard the forests of the world of Azeroth, protecting nature and all living things. I wish to embrace nature like Malfurion."

Galen was preparing to try to unlock a new class.

After repeatedly spending money to learn Aragorn's Holy Light skills, the seed of Holy Light power had spontaneously generated within him. After the seed grew, he successfully changed his class from Warrior to Paladin.

He had also been exposed to the arcane arts when he was young, but despite having powerful mental strength, he was unable to construct arcane circuits and couldn't cast spells. Even his mentor, Earl Dabyre, had given up. Later, Galen became a Paladin; essentially, a Paladin was a warrior who could use Holy Light spells. With the foundation of Holy Light spells, plus some guidance from the three mage powerhouses—Gandalf, Aegwynn, and Medivh—he could become a mid-tier mage without spending any money.

Galen also knew the principle of 'don't bite off more than you can chew,' so he generally only cultivated the essential abilities of each class.

Heroic Leap, Shield Wall, Blink, Ice Block, Invincible Hearthstone—so useful!

Hehe he!

Hearing Galen's desire to learn the ways of nature, the demigod of nature burst into thunderous laughter. The surrounding natural forces instantly became exceptionally abundant, as if Cenarius' laughter made the flowers bloom more vibrantly, and the birds flew to their side, chirping merrily.

"Of course, I'm very happy to impart the teachings of the Druid to you. But the prerequisite is that you can pass my test!"

Having experienced Illidan, Cenarius had become very cautious when it came to accepting disciples.

The path of the Druid was slow. Natural magic required a long time to sense nature. The deeper the understanding, the more nature would favor him, and the more powerful the spells he cast would be.

Illidan was an impatient person who couldn't stand the slow pace, and ultimately abandoned the path of the Druid, switching to arcane magic, which was faster and more to his liking.

"I am willing to accept the test!"

When you choose a mentor, the mentor is also choosing you. Galen understood this principle, and he wasn't in a hurry. Druid spells were his backup plan, a stepping stone for him to contact the demigods of the Wild in the future. Slower was fine.

"Very good!"

Cenarius placed his vine-covered right claw on top of Galen's head, and a stream of green energy entered Galen's body.

Using a wisp of Emerald Dream power, the demigod of nature pulled Galen into the dream, while shielding some of Galen's senses, preventing him from realizing that he was in the dream.

Galen only felt as if he had returned to the time when he had just unified the Barrens, seeing the sky full of wind and sand and the barren land, he only felt extremely uncomfortable!

If you want to get rich, plant more trees.

He had the Spring of Life, so he didn't have to worry about trees not being able to survive in this barren land. Moreover, the farm could solidify the land, and the soil could accelerate the growth of tree seeds. The source of saplings was also available. When the trees grew, he would plant trees around the farm, and sooner or later he would be able to turn the vast wasteland into a lush forest!

So, in the dream, Galen gave an order, and the farmers began to build farms and plant trees. The quillboars dug pits everywhere in the Barrens, planting, filling, and watering!

One year, two years!

The Barrens changed from a patch of reddish-yellow to a place with lush trees!

As Galen's management and protection project in the Barrens was successfully completed in the dream, the green light on Cenarius's palm stroking Galen's head shone brightly!

The green light was dazzling!

The test of the power of dreams is to see the strength of the power of nature's feedback obtained by the test taker in the dream. Most of the qualified Night Elves at most protect the surrounding forests in their dreams, but what Galen did was to manage the environment and turn the desert into a forest!

In nearly a thousand years of dream trials, Cenarius had never seen such a situation.

He could even judge that Galen's future achievements in the Druid path would not be low!

Even the entire nature of Azeroth would help him!

The green light dissipated, and Galen woke up from the dream.

Congratulations, young one, you have passed my test. From today on, you can stay in this woodland to practice the Druid path!

After Cenarius finished speaking, he turned his gaze to the Windrunner sisters who had come with Galen.

After discovering Galen, a potential stock, he hoped to continue to discover more talents.

Sylvanas and Alleria shook their heads, indicating that they were quite satisfied with their current professions.

However, in the following days, Galen still dragged the two rangers to listen to Cenarius's teachings together.

At the beginning, Sylvanas and Alleria were a little impatient, until a few days later they found that their understanding of the way of nature had deepened, and their strength had actually increased a little!

The natural resistance they gained after casting Wild Guardian increased compared to before, and they had a new understanding of Chimera Shot and Serpent Sting, making them more comfortable to use and increasing their power.

In the following class time, the Windrunner sisters were even more active than Galen!

And Galen found that he was getting started with Druidism very quickly. After more than ten years of cramming education in his previous life, his grasp of theoretical knowledge was quite rapid, but it was quite difficult when casting spells.

He encountered the same problem he had when casting arcane spells!

The difficult construction of the spell circuit made it impossible for him to output the magic power in his body!

But Galen wanted to save face!

He also knew that he had made a big commotion during the assessment!

He should be rated as a one-in-a-million master, right!

As a result, he couldn't even cast a beginner Druid spell

Galen couldn't afford to embarass himself!

The name of genius must be preserved!

In Malfurion's surprised eyes, the power of nature in Galen's hand condensed into energy balls, which he shot towards the wooden stakes in the distance.

Wrath: The basic spell of the Druid, which can condense natural energy and send it out, causing natural damage!

Then there was Moonfire and the healing spell Regrowth.

Galen constantly recharged the skills and spells of the Druids under his command, and then used his body's instincts to memorize the flow of magic power when these spells were running!

He never thought that one day he would become a caster similar to relying on muscle memory!

Galen felt bitter in his heart. For the sake of face, he recharged. One spell cost dozens of units of gold. He spent two thousand units of gold to learn to release Wrath on his own!

But he couldn't say it!

Heads can be broken, blood can flow!

The name of genius cannot be lost!

Sylvanas and Alleria are watching!

Galen stayed in Cenarius's woodland for a month. During this period, the base in Dustwallow Marsh had taken shape. There were only thirty-six Night Elf archers and even fewer Druids, only fifteen.

Galen couldn't change this training progress. If he could, he would also like to find a place where he could enter cheats and directly enter: warpten.

But the reality is... he doesn't even have a keyboard!

The War of the Ancients lasted only two to three years from when Queen's Advisor Xavius was seduced by the Demon King Sargeras to open the portal, until the end when the explosion of the Well of Eternity caused the continent to collapse. At most, the demon army will massacre Zin-Azshari next year, and the war will officially begin.

It seems that relying purely on War Trees and Knowledge Trees is not very good. In the remaining eleven months, he can only train four hundred archers and two hundred and fifty Druids at most.

Human heavy infantry and musketeers can be mass-produced. For someone like Galen who carries most of his belongings with him, one year is enough for him to build dozens of barracks and mass-produce tens of thousands of soldiers!

But at this time, humans have only just been born, and they are still leaving the north to find a home under the protection of their Vrykul parents. It is estimated that there are not many people. Suddenly, tens of thousands of human troops emerge, which is equivalent to drastically changing history!

Moreover, doing so easily exposes the secret of the Heart of Origin creating life out of thin air. Although Galen currently has the strength to protect himself, he is more worried that his changing history will affect the fate of mankind!

In case that villain and Kil'jaeden notice the potential of humans like they noticed the orcs, and think that humans are a threat, and strangle the development of humans in the cradle in advance, it is hard to say whether Galen in later generations will still exist.

It's time to start Plan B!

One quiet night, after Malfurion and the others had rested, Galen left the coordinates in place, and then used the teleportation staff to take himself to the base in Dustwallow Marsh.

At this time, in the base, in addition to the two ancient trees and a town hall that had been completed when Galen left, Cliff led the newly trained farmers to build an Altar of Kings, a barracks, a lumber mill, a blacksmith shop, an arcane vault, and dozens of farms. The remaining farmers also opened a mine, and the workers in the lumber mill were also working hard to chop trees and collect wood.

Galen's arrival alarmed the orc warrior Broxigar who stayed behind at the base.

"Great Lord, you have come!"

"Well, Broxigar, now that the base has a certain ability to protect itself, you don't have to stay here anymore. When I leave later, I will take you near Suramar City, where there is a piece of history that needs you to complete!"

Galen remembered that in Suramar City, Tyrande had just become a beginner priestess of the Sisters of Elune. Because of Broxigar's arrival, this future high priestess shone brightly in front of the public for the first time, showing her talent!

"Yes, Lord!"

Now Broxigar, this orc, has become Galen's follower and has found an object to be loyal to again!

Galen began his plan!
