Chapter 337 - Arrakoa

Speaking of the Arakkoa Empire, one must mention their origins.

Affected by the Sporelings and the Gronn Wars, the creatures of Draenor were forced to choose to live on the edges of the continent or even underground. A large number of birds living in Draenor migrated south, eventually settling in the mountains of Arak.

This group of winged creatures eventually gave birth to three demigods: Rukhmar the Firebird, Sethe the Wind Serpent, and Anzu the Raven God, collectively known as the Three Pillars of the Sky.

Rukhmar the Firebird could use the power of primal light and summon flames. Sethe had short but strong wings and was a Wind Serpent. He could not fly as high as Rukhmar, but he was skilled in using shadow and void magic. Anzu was much smaller than Rukhmar and Sethe. He had no advantage in strength, but he had extraordinary wisdom. Driven by curiosity, Anzu investigated the crisscrossing magical energy lines on the planet Draenor and discovered arcane magic.

They led the birds to defeat the Sporelings and the Stone Gronn that invaded Arak, turning this place into a paradise for birds. However, Sethe the Wind Serpent grew increasingly jealous of Rukhmar and wanted to usurp her power.

But the Wind Serpent could not defeat Rukhmar himself, so he sought help from Anzu. However, no one expected that Anzu had fallen in love with Rukhmar. Therefore, Anzu informed his goddess Rukhmar of Sethe's plan. In the end, the Firebird God and the Raven God joined forces to defeat the Wind Serpent God. Rukhmar burned Sethe's wings, and Anzu pecked out Sethe's eyes.

Sethe, with his last breath, issued a curse of revenge against Rukhmar and Anzu. Using his own flesh and blood, the power of the curse seeped out of his body and spread throughout the land. To prevent the shadow power of the curse from spreading, the simp Anzu ate Sethe, enduring the power of the curse alone.

The immense curse caused Anzu's body to change drastically, and he lost his ability to fly. Anzu became ashamed and unwilling to meet Rukhmar in this form. Furthermore, after devouring the Wind Serpent, he gained the ability to control dark magic, so he Escaped into the Shadow Realm, forever hiding from Rukhmar's sight. No matter how Rukhmar called out, Anzu did not show his face.

The core of this story tells us that simps ultimately have nothing, even gods are the same.

To commemorate Anzu's sacrifice, Rukhmar created the Arakkoa based on the Kaliri bird, also meaning "Children of Arak," embodying Rukhmar's elegance and solemnity, as well as Anzu's wisdom and wit.

The Arakkoa officially rose to prominence, and Arak established a glorious and vast civilization.

Of course, every empire will eventually decline. The current Arakkoa Empire is no longer as powerful as it once was, but merely a dying force.

Soon, Nathanos led the soldiers, escorting dozens of Arakkoa to Galen.

Galen looked them over and finally focused his gaze on the Arakkoa with the highest strength.

"Raise your head, Arakkoa!" Waving his hand to have Nathanos take the other Arakkoa away, Galen said to the remaining Arakkoa.

The Arakkoa's head was buried in his chest, and a flash of unyielding and madness flashed in his eyes.

"Caw!"

A sharp raven's cry!

As Galen approached him, the Arakkoa struggled to break free from the chains that bound him, cast a flash, came in front of Galen, and slashed his right claw fiercely at Galen's throat!

"Heh!"

Galen smiled instead of being angry. It had been a long time since he had encountered such a bold creature. Even Alleria next to him did not mean to stop the Arakkoa. It was really because her horizons had been broadened by fighting demigods with Galen during this period. A weak ninth-level Arakkoa, she didn't believe he could break Galen's defense.

"Clang!"

The Arakkoa's claws were like scratching on a steel plate, making a harsh friction sound!

Galen's Holy Light aura has never been turned off, plus at least half of the ten fingers on his body are equipped with Guardian Rings and Defense Rings. These armor bonuses make him a humanoid tank. The Arakkoa's ordinary bone claws want to break through his defense? Dream on.

After the attack, the Arakkoa covered his right claw in shock, and a few drops of blood fell on the ground!

The claw is broken!

Galen quickly stepped forward again and grabbed the Arakkoa's neck: "Ant, you are facing the Lord of the Crusade, the Judge who wields the Holy Light, the King who is about to unify Draenor!"

"Who gave you the courage to resist!"

How long has it been!

Deathwing called him an ant, a reptile, a mortal. Galen had been holding back a breath in his heart for a long time. Now that Deathwing's dragon head is hanging in Shattrath City, and his soul is still being held in confinement by Galen in the Altar of Kings, this breath has been mostly dissipated.

Galen originally thought that he had seen through it, but he didn't expect that the Arakkoa's ignorant behavior ignited his last remaining flame.

Humility and friendliness are used to treat friends. To treat enemies, one should be as cold and ruthless as winter.

Galen's hand increased its strength.

"Aegis never yields!"

Kacha!

The sound of bones breaking came.

The Arakkoa's neck tilted, and his head drooped down.

However, Galen was a little depressed. He acted too fast!

What did he just hear?

Aegis?

The King in Auchindoun's Sethekk Halls?

Back then, when mounts were not shared across battle.net, Galen had five accounts on hand, and he would definitely visit the Heroic Mode Sethekk Halls every day, brushing the reins of the Raven God again and again!

So he was too familiar with the name Aegis. He could be considered a big shot among the Arakkoa. And he just twisted his neck like a chick?

Looking at Aegis lying on the ground, Galen sighed. It was not easy to show off, and now he has to resurrect this Arakkoa. The slap in the face came too fast!

Galen mobilized the Holy Light in his body and cast a resurrection spell to resurrect Aegis.

"I am the reincarnation of the Teron King! The Arakkoa will rise again!" The Arakkoa Aegis jumped up like a corpse, shouting slogans!

The sharp voice was quite harsh.

Smack!

Aegis was slapped on the head by Galen, and the Arakkoa fell heavily to the ground.

Only then did Aegis come back to his senses. He just died. He heard the sound of his cervical spine breaking, and his soul had already seen the Shadowlands. Arakkoa who believe in the Raven God will have their souls drawn by Anzu after death, coming to the realm he opened in the shallow layer of the Shadowlands!

Just like Bwonsamdi's Necropolis, Helya's Maw of Souls.

But just when Aegis was ready to cross the gate to meet Anzu, he came back to life!

Unexpected?

Surprise?

Anyway, Aegis is quite confused now. He thinks the man in front of him is a devil. He is more terrifying than death!

In the mountain path from Talador to Spires of Arak, Aegis led the way with his head down, while Galen rode his horse with the legion following behind him.

Just half a day ago, Aegis, the Arakkoa who had been shouting about never surrendering, was forced by Galen to sign a master-servant contract, leaving him with no choice but to obey Galen.

Galen and the Crusader truly changed the established future of Draenor in a big way. For example, Aegis, who was serving as a guide in front, and his subordinates were driven out of the Auchindoun labyrinth by the Sixth and Seventh Legions. They failed to develop and grow their power in Auchindoun, which was full of shadow power, and become the Teron King who would later occupy the Sethekk Halls.

Galen felt that he still had some value, so he resurrected him. At least this Arakkoa, who was good at arcane magic, really had the ability to summon Anzu!

Galen had actually farmed the reins of the Raven God, and Galen guessed that that thing was at least an avatar of Anzu!

"Besides the Arakkoa, there are also Tiger-Man tribes in Spires of Arak. When they were strong, they even fought to the foot of Skyreach. Later, Terokk, the greatest emperor in the Arakkoa Empire, defeated the Bloodmane Ogres with his powerful strength and drove them to the south!"

"And I am the reincarnation of Terokk, the next Teron King, and will eventually lead the Arakkoa to rise again!"

Pa!

Galen struck Aegis's back with the horse whip in his hand. It looked like he used a lot of force, but Galen actually controlled his strength so that Aegis could feel the pain without breaking his skin.

Along the way, Galen had him lead the way while introducing the situation in Spires of Arak. Who knew that half of this guy's ten sentences were bragging about being the reincarnation of the Teron King.

Galen knew better than anyone that the Teron King Terokk was not dead, but only self-sealed in the shadows. This Arakkoa was purely delusional with excessive ambition.

This was also the most amusing of Galen's many contracted servants. Flintzag, Hogg, and the two Boar-Man leaders, and even the Tiger-Man chieftain in Draenor, were all respectful after they surrendered to Galen, even to the point of being excessively sycophantic. Only this Arakkoa was unruly and neurotic.

In the end, Galen could only attribute it to the fact that creatures with normal intelligence, after seeing the power displayed by Galen, all understood the principle of 'a good bird chooses a tree to perch on' and 'a wise man submits to circumstances'. On the contrary, this kind of religious fanatic completely disregarded common sense!

If he hadn't just sent Medivh to the Glory Road defense line and didn't want to disturb him, Galen would have killed Aegis again in minutes, had the Origin Heart absorb his spirit, and then resurrected him. The Origin Heart's restraint and guarantee of loyalty were much stronger than that master-servant contract!

"Don't stop! Keep talking!"

Alleria chimed in from behind. Along the way, she had learned about the origin of the Arakkoa Empire from Galen and Aegis, and she was enjoying the story. How could she be interrupted?

The history of the High Elf Kingdom, plus the history of the Night Elf Empire before, was also tens of thousands of years old. When Alleria was young, she liked to read the history of the Elven race in her spare time other than training.

"Qua! Terokk was the most powerful king in the history of the Arakkoa Empire. The priests were afraid that the Teron King would take away their power and status, so they plotted against him and threw him and his daughter with broken wings into the abyss!"

Alleria nodded as she listened. This was in line with the development law of most short-lived empires. The founding ancestors were very awesome, the national power of the empire was booming and dominating the world, but the descendants were unworthy and the empire declined until it perished.

(Bassically every Chinese dynasty ever xd)

The Firebird God created the Arakkoa to commemorate Anzu, which laid hidden dangers for the division of the Arakkoa. On one side was the Sun Goddess who created them, and on the other side, the goddess told them stories of Anzu's greatness since they were young. The two beliefs began to prevail within the Arakkoa, and conflicts arose. After a great war, the Sun Cult, which believed in the Sun Goddess K'ara, finally defeated the Arakkoa who believed in Anzu and exiled them, and the empire began to decline and the civilization appeared to be cut off.

The Teron King Terokk was a master of rejuvenation who appeared in the declining Arakkoa Empire, but his existence threatened the interests of the priestly class in the Sun Cult, which was the conflict between royal power and divine power. In the end, Terokk failed and the Arakkoa Empire also fell into decline.

Later, when the Orcs rose and conquered Draenor, the Arakkoa suffered even more heavy losses.

As the saying goes, when things reach their peak, they decline. After listening, Alleria thought of Queen Azshara, whom her ancestors had served. The Night Elf Empire reached its peak under her rule, but unfortunately, her ambition was too great, and she allowed the corrupted Highborne nobles to summon the Burning Legion, which eventually led to the destruction of the empire and its division into the theocratic Night Elf Kingdom and the High Elf Kingdom that went to other lands.

"Not far ahead is the gathering place of the Arakkoa exiles: Skettis!" Aegis said excitedly again, "That was the town I built in my previous life, when I was Terokk. Those fallen priests would not have thought that I survived the curse and received Anzu's protection. From then on, I began to look for every broken soul who had been cursed by Sethe. They went to Skettis, where they could live freely, away from the Sethe curse and the persecution of the high-ranking Arakkoa!"

Pa!

Galen whipped him again, and how was it that he was getting better at it?

Could it be that after seeing the flattering Kobolds and the docile, clingy Gnolls, and the respectful Tiger-Men, the sudden appearance of a fearless Arakkoa gave Galen a sense of novelty due to the contrast?

Just as Galen was urging Aegis to hurry up, a large number of sharp feathered arrows shot from both sides of the valley!

There were also many fire spells and gale spells mixed in, but except for the arrows that were aimed at Galen and his group, those spells were all flying towards Aegis.

"Raise shields!"

"Defense!"

Galen immediately issued the order. The soldiers of the Gale Legion behind him immediately raised their shields above their heads. A large number of arrows were blocked by the shields and did not cause too much damage.

Galen took out the Aldor's Legacy Defender and placed it on top of his head, then watched Aegis, who was flashing and dodging frantically in front of the team, with a smile.

Looking at this attack, Galen had already guessed that it should be the high-ranking Arakkoa from Skyreach who attacked them. As far as Galen knew, these K'ara believers, led by the sun priests and with the high-ranking Arakkoa warriors as the middle class, would hunt down the exiled Arakkoa every once in a while.

Obviously, Aegis was an Arakkoa of the exiles' camp, and he was also the founder of the Talons of the Fallen, a figure with a face in the Arakkoa exiles. In the first wave of attacks, he was targeted by the high-ranking Arakkoa priests who led the attack, and a large number of fire and wind spells were aimed at his face!

Arrows rained down from the sky, their shafts fletched with golden feathers. Those high-ranking arakkoa really knew how to play – using their own feathers to make arrows.

The heavy infantry formed a shield wall, protecting the musketeers, priests, and wizards behind them. The army advanced slowly, while a thousand high knights, under Galen's command, held their shields high and braved the arrows as they charged towards the other end of the mountain pass!

Aside from the arakkoa Aegis, who was dodging magic and arrows in the narrow Terokkar Pass, Alleria, who wasn't carrying a shield, was also using her agility to evade the feathered arrows raining down from above the winding mountain road.

Alleria's figure was graceful, but Galen didn't think it was necessary. These ordinary arrows could only injure those exiled, impoverished arakkoa at best. His legion was fully armed, and breaking through the shield wall would require the highest-grade arrows.

"Alleria!"

Galen called out to the ranger.

Hearing Galen's call, Alleria turned her head. Galen had his shield raised above his head with his right hand, while his left hand was waving at her, beckoning her to come and take shelter under the shield with him.

Alleria hesitated for a moment, but her feet didn't slow down. Her slender and strong legs pushed off, and she shot out like an arrow, reaching Galen's side and taking cover under the shadow of the Aldor's Legacy Protector.

Galen grabbed the edge of his cloak with his left hand and shook it out. The black dragonhide cloak unfurled, enveloping him and Alleria.

Then, Galen put his arm around Alleria's shoulders, and the two of them ran forward quickly, braving the arrows.

The high-ranking arakkoa ambushing from above the valley realized that the arrows were useless against the alien army below. A priest immediately changed the plan: "Falling rocks!"

Then, a large number of boulders began to fall along the cliff!

The soldiers could withstand the small stones, but their strength was insufficient to hold back some of the larger rocks, and the ranks began to suffer casualties!

Hmph!

Galen snorted coldly. Deploying only one army legion was Galen's attempt at 'courtesy before force,' trying to unite a portion of the arakkoa to attack another. He hadn't expected that carelessness and insufficient intelligence would lead to an ambush in this Terokkar Pass!

The main strength of the Shadow Council was in Azeroth, and the Root, which focused on assassination, had always followed an elite route, so its numbers had always been insufficient. Galen had already asked Garona to select elites from the Broken of Kurenei to form a special force to replace the Root. With Nobundo's cooperation, Garona's progress was quite rapid. Originally, it was planned that the newly formed Shadowblade unit would be able to infiltrate Shadowmoon Valley and Tanaan Jungle by the time the war with the orcs officially began.

Miscalculation!

Galen could only swallow the bitter fruit of his mistake. He opened his holy light wings behind him, and with Alleria, leaped up, scaling the cliff vertically!

At the same time, three red signal flares rose into the air. After receiving the signal, the Stormwing Gryphon Riders stationed south of Talador quickly took to the skies, flying towards the location of the signal flares.

Galen and Alleria had already reached the summit, where a large number of Rukhmar's followers were gathered. They were the high-ranking arakkoa who ruled Skyreach.

They were somewhat similar to the exiled arakkoa like Aegis, with humanoid, upright bodies and bird heads. Behind their heads were beautiful plumes, and their bodies were covered in brightly colored feathers. Their feet were sharp bird claws, and their arms split into four fingers, holding golden-patterned wing-blade scimitars.

Unlike the exiled arakkoa, they had wings like those of birds growing on both sides of their arms, and behind them were tail feathers like those of birds to maintain balance.

It had to be said that the high-ranking arakkoa were much taller and better-looking than the exiled arakkoa like Aegis, who had their wings broken!

If Galen had to choose, he would be more inclined to subdue the high-ranking arakkoa. They could fight, they could fly, and they were good-looking!

But the only drawback was!

Too noisy!

Galen and Alleria landed in the midst of the high-ranking arakkoa. With a sweep of the Brotherhood's Sword, all the arakkoa within a three-meter radius of Galen were unlucky. Those who were close to Galen and didn't dodge in time were cut in half on the spot, while those who were farther away only had time to raise the wing-blade scimitars in their hands to block, but the difference in strength was too great, and they were knocked away by the Brotherhood's Sword on the spot, spitting blood in mid-air.

Galen's power caused the surrounding arakkoa to scream in panic. Galen only felt like there were thousands of ducks quacking around him, making his head spin!

Under Galen's cover, Alleria also began to kill. The bowstring of Thas'dorah vibrated in her hands, and a large number of magic arrows flew out, each strike claiming the life of a high-ranking arakkoa.

"Erix! Sword Dancer, eliminate that creature brought by the heretic!" An arakkoa flying in mid-air noticed Galen, who was wreaking havoc among the arakkoa, and quickly sent out his capable subordinate!

"As you command! Sun Sage Rakhis the Exalted!"

A lithe high-ranking arakkoa wielding dual blades quickly approached Galen with a jump and the glide of his wings.

He was the best of the blade-wing guards among the arakkoa. Just like the strongest orcs in the Burning Blade clan could earn the title of Blademaster, Erix had earned the title of Sword Dancer!

Clang!

Erix's dual blades blocked Galen's massive Brotherhood's Sword. The dual blades used by this arakkoa were very similar to the dual blades of the Illidari, with the hand gripping the middle of the warblade and curved blades on both sides.

Galen's eyes lit up!

What a beautiful high-ranking arakkoa!

Sword Dancer Erix's body was covered in dark red and purple colored feathers. The curved bird beak of his face shimmered with cold light, and he had a tuft of upright feather crest on his head. The blades in his claws flew up and down, launching a fierce attack on Galen.

Subduing warriors of various races was a hobby of Galen's. Seeing this arakkoa Sword Dancer, Galen once again developed a love for talent after subduing Hogger. Even the cute-looking Jinyu race hadn't yet produced someone who satisfied him!

The Sword Dancer's attacks were full of skill, but Galen was using the Brotherhood's Sword, a huge greatsword, with sweeping, open attacks, forcing Erix to dodge and parry, passively searching for Galen's flaws to counterattack!

Unfortunately, Galen's armor was frighteningly high, and he had recently found a great magical item from the market: the Mysterious Belt.

Mysterious Belt: Equipping it reduces magic damage by 33%.

Opponents weaker than Galen simply had no way to harm him, and at the same level, Galen was basically invincible. Only a legendary peak or someone entering the demigod level could suddenly attack and injure Galen when he was unprepared!

Galen controlled the rhythm of the battle, leading the Sword Dancer further and further away, and countless Arakkoa were injured by the aftermath of their fight.

After the high-ranking Arakkoa on the mountain valley ran out of rolling stones, these winged Arakkoa warriors, under the command of the Sun Sage Rakh'shikh, launched an air raid on the warriors of the Gale Legion, attempting to suppress them with aerial superiority!

However, they underestimated the firepower of the musketeers. When the high-ranking Arakkoa approached, the musketeers unleashed a wave of concentrated fire, and many Arakkoa were injured and fell from the sky!

The light leather armor of the high-ranking Arakkoa, engraved with sun patterns, couldn't withstand the bullets fired from the muskets.

The Arakkoa in the air flapped their wings and began to circle, not daring to approach the ground. Their ranged attacks couldn't break through the Gale Legion's defenses, and when they tried to engage in close combat, they were driven back by the musketeers.

The Arakkoa were in a dilemma. If it weren't for the priests of Rukhmar overseeing the battle, they would have feared that running away would result in their wings being broken and being thrown off Skyreach, becoming exiles. They would have run away long ago.

At this moment, a vast group of black dots flew in from the north!

The Gryphon Knights of the Stormwing had arrived!

The Arakkoa in the air were thrown into disarray. Then, a large number of Storm Hammers were thrown out by the Gryphon Knights, and the closest group of Arakkoa fell from the sky like dumplings being dropped into a pot.

The Arakkoa, who had been somewhat hesitant, were instantly terrified and flapped their wings, flying in all directions. Many high-ranking Arakkoa even collided with each other in the chaos. As the Gryphon Knights began to encircle them, the Arakkoa sped up and fled frantically!

Above, the Gryphon Knights were encircling them, and below, the musketeers were firing into the air. The ground was filled with the sounds of thumps as the Arakkoa crashed onto the mountain road.

The Arakkoa priest Rakh'shikh led the surviving troops and flew south without looking back. The Gryphon Knights wanted to pursue, but suddenly a fiery red beam shot out from the distant mountaintop, and a Gryphon was unable to dodge, its wings were blasted apart, and it fell with its knight.

This beam contained the power of flame and holy light.

Fortunately, Galen had equipped the Gryphon Knights with parachutes. The Gryphon crashed heavily to the ground and was reduced to minced meat, but the knight landed successfully.

The Arakkoa Sword Dancer Aerikk, who had been deliberately entangled by Galen, was surrounded by Galen's army. He knew he couldn't escape, and his eyes were filled with determination. His battle with Galen abandoned defense and parrying, and every strike was aimed at Galen's vitals, but unfortunately, he was a whole major rank lower than Galen and couldn't break through his defenses at all.

In the end, the Arakkoa was exhausted and was knocked unconscious on the head by Galen with the Brotherhood's sword.

"Clean up the battlefield, give simple treatment to the Arakkoa who are still alive, don't let them die. Also, imprison this Arakkoa properly."

Galen hung the Brotherhood's Sword on his back, and then ordered his men to clean up the battlefield, imprison the prisoners, and treat the wounded.

High-ranking Arakkoa are good air force material. When I conquer the Spires of Arak, every Arakkoa will be a force against the demons. Saving one is one less death to the Burning Legion.

Galen walked to Aegis's side. The Claw 'Pseudo-King' was now lying exhausted on the ground.

"Get up, don't play dead!"

Galen kicked him unceremoniously, kicking him in the butt. Aegis was hit hard in the buttocks and jumped up, clutching his rear.

"Quawk! Master, why did you kick me!"

Heh heh!

This damned Arakkoa, it was because he led the way that the ambushing high-ranking Arakkoa mistakenly thought he was an ally of the exiles. It was simply an undeserved disaster.

"Lead the way, to Skettis!"

Speaking of which, Aegis came from Skettis. His ideas have a certain market among the exiles, and he even formed a small group called the Sethekk to go to Auchindoun to find their so-called future, but in Galen's view, they were running wildly on the road to a cult, and were finally lucky enough to be pulled back by him.

There are many such groups with different beliefs among the Arakkoa exiles, such as the Arakkoa Speakers who worship Anzu's Consort, the Dark Covenant who are loyal to Skettis, and the Goresh'na who worship the god Anzu.

Aegis reluctantly acted as a guide and continued on the road. This time Galen sent out all the high-ranking knights to act as scouts.

Along the way, Galen was recalling the fiery golden beam that had attacked the Gryphon Knights!

Powerful!

Long range!

I want it!

And Galen also knew what that thing was.

Breath of Rukhmar, a weapon created during the most glorious period of the Arakkoa's Apexis civilization. It can guide solar energy and release amazing destructive power. The priests of the Sun Cult placed this weapon at the highest point of the Spires of Arak.

The Arakkoa Empire relied on this magical weapon to defeat the spore giants who invaded the Arak territory. Later, the Arakkoa who believed in the Sun Cult and the Arakkoa who believed in Anzu fought a civil war. The two sects fought for this artifact for several months.

In the end, the artifact exploded during the scramble. Most of the Arakkoa on the spire died on the spot. The explosion split the main peak of Arak into countless shorter peaks and turned the nearby area into barren wasteland. Later, the Arakkoa called this place the Spires of Arak.

The losing side was the Arakkoa who believed in Anzu. They became exiles, and many of the high-ranking members of the Sun Cult also died in the explosion of the Breath of Rukhmar. The civilization of the Arakkoa Empire also suffered a break.

The surviving Sun Priests dug out the Breath of Rukhmar from the ruins, reinstalled it on Skyreach, and used it to fight against the Arakkoa exiles of Skettis and the Orcish army that invaded the Spires of Arak.

The reason why Galen was interested in this weapon was to make the Breath of Rukhmar a substitute for the Dragon Soul!

Because the Dragon Soul's energy is nearing exhaustion after multiple uses beyond its capacity, especially in the battle to kill Deathwing. Galen had to transform multiple times to recharge the Dragon Soul, and gold coins were consumed in large quantities. It can be said that he used a large number of troops and six or seven demigods, and finally spent hundreds of thousands of gold coins to kill the fallen Deathwing and most of the Black Dragonflight!

Compared to the Dragon Soul, which is like a handheld RPG, the Breath of Rukhmar is more like a huge laser cannon, using a device to convert the sun's energy for attack. Galen wanted to have his combat laboratory study its principles. If he could use this device to convert the energy of the Eye of Sargeras, then he might be able to use this weapon to kill Archimonde in the future!

Just imagine how much Malfurion and the others sacrificed to kill Archimonde, the wisps and the Tree of Life exploded, and Galen only needs to sneak up on Archimonde when he is sunbathing and give him a shot!

Hehehe!

Alleria, who was riding side by side with Galen, gave Galen a strange look. Has this guy taken his medicine?

He's smiling really evilly.

Soon they came to the outskirts of a heavily guarded, dilapidated town.

Skettis has arrived!

In the Spires of Arak, there is a peculiar phenomenon: occasionally, two suns hang in the sky, making it exceptionally bright. However, even with the light, the forest floor remains shrouded in gloom.

This unique sight is caused by the residual shadow energy of the Wind Serpent God, Sethe, which shrouds the forest around Skyreach.

Meanwhile, a battle is unfolding within Skettis. It appears that the high arakkoa of Skyreach have divided their forces, with one group attacking Skettis directly, and the other setting up an ambush on the Path of Telaar to eliminate the fleeing outcast arakkoa.

Galen and his group inadvertently stumbled into the high arakkoa's ambush. However, since this force was primarily intended for ambushing fleeing arakkoa and was not large, it was quickly defeated by the Gale Force Legion.

Skettis itself had already been breached, and the city was in chaos.

"Aegis! Lead the gryphon knights into the fray and attack the arakkoa in the air!"

"Remember! Emphasize your identity as outcast arakkoa first, to avoid being mistaken for the enemy!"

"Caw!"

Upon hearing Galen's command, Aegis led the charge into Skettis. After forming his cult, he had sent an advance team to Auchindoun to investigate, leaving many of his subordinates in Skettis.

The Gale Force Legion advanced from the periphery, rescuing the massacred outcast arakkoa and capturing the winged high arakkoa.

Galen's two legions completely overwhelmed the attacking high arakkoa forces. Combined with the Claw Guards of the city's outcast arakkoa, they quickly routed all the invading arakkoa.

This time, Galen had prepared in advance, reserving a portion of the gryphon knights to capture the arakkoa fleeing through the air.

The chaotic city quickly returned to calm, with the streets littered with the bodies of arakkoa, both outcasts and high arakkoa.

Aegis brought an elderly arakkoa before Galen. This arakkoa was ordinary in appearance, except that he held a large book in his claws and a purple-red Kaliri perched on his shoulder.

Galen was very familiar with this bird!

Reshad!

A highly respected Lorekeeper among the arakkoa, similar to a draenei scholar, knowledgeable and intelligent!

At this thought, a flash of insight struck Galen!

"Shadows Over the Sun!"

Reshad was startled by this and blurted out:

"Raven Consumes the Sky! Who sent you?"

This was a secret code among the high-ranking outcast arakkoa, only revealed to those who had been thoroughly vetted and deemed trustworthy!

Caw caw!

The Kaliri on the arakkoa's shoulder squawked twice, as if seeking praise.

"Can't you be quiet for once? Are you saying it was Azzak?"

"Yes, that's right, it must be Azzak! That old fox, that old charlatan, must have seen something in you!"

The elderly arakkoa muttered to himself.

Galen spoke faster than he could think, blurting out the code without considering how to follow it up. Unexpectedly, Reshad directly helped Galen cover his tracks.

And the arakkoa named Azzak must also be an important figure in their organization.

"Did Azzak send you to me seeking answers?"

Faced with the old arakkoa's question, Galen naturally seized the opportunity. He had already decided that once he resolved the situation here, he would immediately send scouts and Shadowblade assassins to search for the arakkoa named Azzak and bring him under control, to make the lie believable.

Galen had already discovered that Azzak's name carried more weight than Aegis's. He had noticed the look of displeasure in Reshad's eyes when he looked at Aegis.

"Yes, Azzak sent me to help Skettis overcome its difficulties!"

Galen paused for a moment before continuing: "The old man promised me a generous reward. He said there are two powerful relics in Skettis: two twin blades forged in the name of the sun god, and a mask once used by Terokk, the King of Talons, and that I could ask you for them once I drove out the high arakkoa!"

"And of these two relics, the weathered Wingblade is held by a statue at the front gate, and the damaged mask is on a statue on the east side of the city!"

While recalling his past memories, he glanced at a statue near the front gate, which he had just brushed past when entering. These arakkoa were cunning, fully embracing the theory that the most dangerous place is the safest place.

"Caw caw caw!"

Reshad laughed loudly in the arakkoa tongue, his previously anxious heart finally settling down. As long as Galen and his people weren't enemies, that was good enough. Skettis simply didn't have the strength to resist Galen's elite force of over ten thousand.

"It's wonderful that Azzak sent you to help. Thank you for helping Skettis drive away those sun god worshippers, and please forgive my previous distrust. If you had harbored murderous intentions, I would surely be dead by now! Now you have earned the trust of the outcasts! I am Reshad, Lorekeeper of the arakkoa!"

Galen's words finally gained the arakkoa's trust. After all, these two crucial relics were symbols of the King of Talons, and ordinary people couldn't possibly know about them, which indirectly proved that Galen was one of their own.

"My name is Galen, Grand Lord of the Crusade. Talador is my territory. This time, I've led two legions into the Spires of Arak to help you overthrow the solar priests' rule over Skyreach and liberate all arakkoa."

"Of course, after Arak is unified, I hope the arakkoa can send troops to help us resist the orcish Horde!"

Subsequently, Galen told the arakkoa leader about the reasons for the orcs' drastic change in temperament in recent years, as well as the terrible enemies lurking outside the planet, elaborating on his idea of uniting all possible forces to jointly face the terrible threat.

"Currently, our allies include the remaining draenei, the tiger people from various regions, and the Gronn, ogres, and pureblood orcs of the Mag'har clan!"

Reshad was shocked. So many races essentially encompassed most of the intelligent races in Draenor. This was a terrifying force, at least for the arakkoa, who had been weakened by the orcish Horde.

"The arakkoa are happy to contribute to the world of Draenor. The orcs have caused terrible damage to this world, and we must let them know that this world does not only belong to them, but also to all the living beings of Draenor!"

Reshad assessed the situation and agreed to Galen's proposed alliance without much hesitation. He didn't have much choice. Skettis had weakened to the extreme, and the Crusade's formidable strength was before them. This was an opportunity!
