Chapter 19 - OPRS: Chapter 19

Alistair followed the two women towards the upper deck, turning back on the stairs to look at the Amazonian warriors, their faces alight with excitement, and the approaching pirate ship. He couldn't help but chuckle.

These warriors must have been itching for a fight, their excitement at the sight of the pirate crew was palpable, far from the tension he had anticipated.

This was truly the Amazons' way, embracing battle with unbridled enthusiasm, devoid of any fear.

But he hadn't expected the pirates to be even more eager.

Before Alistair reached the upper deck, he saw several large oars extending from the sizable ship on the opposite side. A dozen pirates were rowing with all their might, trying to close the distance.

But because there was no wind, the ship's speed was agonizingly slow.

If the Kuja Pirates avoided battle, it wouldn't take long for them to be eaten by sea kings.

No wonder they were willing to waste their energy rowing over.

This was probably their only way out.

Unfortunately, they had chosen the wrong opponent.

Shaking his head, Alistair didn't go into the upper deck, instead, he stood by the window at the entrance, watching the two ships slowly converge.

The serpents hadn't even surfaced, leisurely pulling the tower ship underwater. The pirates were oblivious to the terrifying creatures beneath their feet.

The Amazonian bad girls wouldn't let the serpents surface. This was their battle, their feast.

Alistair, who had been twenty years younger since coming to the One Piece world, hadn't touched a phone or computer. His eyesight had gradually improved, and from this distance of a few hundred meters, he could even see the excited expressions of the pirates on the opposite side, covered in sweat.

Though a little blurry, their eyesight wasn't bad either. Seeing that the ship on this side was full of women, they were already beside themselves with excitement.

Women on a pirate ship were a bad omen. It was because it was impossible to give every pirate a woman, only the captain or the executives had women, which could easily lead to dissatisfaction among the lower-ranking pirates, disrupting the entire ship's discipline.

As the saying goes, "Too little is better than too much." So, everyone decided not to bring women, even the captain.

And if the pirates wanted to vent their abundant testosterone, besides plundering ordinary merchant and passenger ships for female passengers, they could only go to the shore to find women.

Now, what kind of skull flag and what words were on the sails of this ship full of women didn't matter anymore.

The pirates, who had almost gone mad in the Calm Belt, were driven by their basest instincts, only the most primitive human emotions remained.

The Amazonian warriors wore relaxed and cheerful smiles, holding the snakes that were wrapped around their bodies and arms.

They naturally turned into taut bows, allowing the Amazonian warriors to string their bows. Then, one by one, arrows were loaded onto their bodies.

They held their arrows, waiting for the pirates to approach with relaxed smiles.

They could have launched an attack long ago, but they didn't. Because then, there wouldn't be much fun.

When the pirates' dilapidated ship crashed into the Kuja Pirates' tower ship, creating a slight tremor, the pirates excitedly waved their swords and spears and charged forward.

To be honest, after drifting in the Calm Belt for so many days, their nerves had almost reached their breaking point. Except for a few core members and leaders, who would pay attention to their ship, sails, and skull emblem?

They had been rowing with sweat dripping from their brows, their faces full of excitement. They leaped high into the air, only to be met with a powerful attack.

Even though the warriors of Kuja Island didn't use Haki, Haki was an advanced combat technique. There was no need to use it against these ordinary pirates.

Every arrow they fired hit its target, hitting the pirates in mid-air. The immense force even sent the pirates flying backward. Some were directly nailed to the mast, while others were pinned to the hull and deck.

This was truly an eye-opener for Alistair. This was the first time he saw the Amazons' true combat.

It had to be said that this kind of combat was truly romantic.

Their arrows never missed. No matter how the pirates roared, the area where the two ships' sides touched was only so big. The Amazonian warriors weren't standing on the side of the ship, but on the bow and the upper deck, shooting down accurately.

Whether it was the cooks or the doctors, Amazons were Amazons. They all had bows in their hands, they all had Haki, they trained constantly, their combat skills from full-time training were different from the pirates' attitude of "live for today, drink for today."

Full-time trained warriors were naturally stronger than these bandits who lived by plundering.

Otherwise, there would be no justice in this world.

These pirates, a total of over 150, were packed tightly on the deck. Some even climbed up the mast, trying to swing over on ropes.

But they had been told so many times, when fighting, don't leave the ground, don't leave the ground, don't leave the ground. Once they left the ground, they were just targets, with no leverage to maneuver in the air. The Amazonian warriors loved these kinds of people. The most people nailed to the mast were them.

And those who wanted to jump onto the ship were more likely to be nailed to the hull.

In one encounter, forty or fifty people fell, and the pirates on the other side instantly lost half their heart.

They were just a group of violent thieves who had become pirates after getting on a ship. They were really just bandits, scattered troops. For elite troops, if their losses exceeded thirty percent, they wouldn't be able to maintain their formation. What does thirty percent mean? It means that out of the four people around you, at least two of them are directly out of the fight. Two gaps and dangers appear in your formation.

And these pirates, they instantly calmed down. This rabble looked at each other nervously, then their eyes all focused on one man.

He was the captain of this ship, a man of incredible stature, five meters tall. He had a full beard and a captain's triangular hat on his head. He held a wavy broadsword in his hand, and he looked like he had some skills.

Alistair thought he could kill himself with one punch, but he was sweating profusely, staring at the sails of the Kuja Pirates' ship.

"Boss! What do we do?!" A pirate shouted from the side. The entire ship was filled with an atmosphere of unease and fear.

Some pirates were illiterate, they didn't know what this flag and this pirate crew full of women represented.

And some pirates were smarter. They started to sweat with their boss.
