Chapter 13 - tang San's first soul ring

As the trio stepped into the dense forest, Yu Xiaogang wasted no time. With a dramatic shout, he bellowed, "Luo Sanpao!!"

In an instant, a chubby, purple pig-dog hybrid popped into existence, squealing happily as it bounded toward its master. To everyone's horror, it lunged at Yu Xiaogang and began humping his leg with disturbing enthusiasm.

Tang Yin's lips twitched. "Unreliable... truly unreliable," he muttered with a sigh.

Tang San, on the other hand, was wide-eyed with fascination. "Master, what is this creature?" he asked, completely serious.

Straightening up and puffing out his chest, Yu Xiaogang adopted the air of a seasoned scholar. "Ah, you see, there are many kinds of mutations in martial souls. It depends heavily on the affinity between the father and mother's spirits. Some are positive... though, more often than not, they're negative."

He then proudly declared, "But mine is unique! It mutated from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul. Truly a rare phenomenon. Normally, such top-tier souls don't mutate poorly, so my Luo Sanpao is one of a kind!" He beamed, clearly deluding himself.

Watching this display of shamelessness, Tang Yin scoffed inwardly. Hah. Useless is useless. No amount of speech will change that.

Tuning out the nonsense, Tang Yin activated his telepathy and began sweeping the area. The forest teemed with decade-old soul beasts and herbs. After a moment, his eyes gleamed.

There you are. Tang Hao's shadow follows closely.

As the sun set and darkness cloaked the forest, a four-hundred-year-old Datura Snake slithered forth, guided perfectly into place by Tang Yin's mental web. Under his subtle command, it lunged—and viciously bit Luo Sanpao near its short, stubby leg... dangerously close to its crotch.

"AAAH!!" Yu Xiaogang howled in agony as he crumpled to the ground, flailing helplessly. "Tang San, RUN!"

Dropping to all fours, the proud Grandmaster scrambled away like a terrified beast.

Tang Yin chuckled inwardly. It really is fun messing with this master-disciple duo.

With a wave, he halted the snake's pursuit, allowing the panicked trio to regroup. Yu Xiaogang collapsed in a sweaty heap, his breath ragged. Noticing the heat and searing pain near his groin, he panicked. Fumbling open his water pouch, he poured it over the bite, but the venom was already rapidly corroding skin. yu xiaogang fainted from the stimulation.

Tang Yin, looking grave, patted Tang San's shoulder. "Your teacher's life is in danger. You must suck... and suck hard. Understand?"

Tang San nodded with fierce determination. "Yes! Once a teacher, always a teacher! I won't give up!"

And so, with deep resolve, he bent down and began sucking venom from the wound—right near Yu Xiaogang's crotch.

(It must be noted: without the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, Tang Yin had only left behind the Hidden Weapon Manual in Tang San's soul. So, he knew no proper method for treating poison.)

Tang Yin cackled internally but kept his face solemn, nodding approvingly.

After a few minutes, Tang San slumped over, lips blue and trembling. "Huff…" he gasped, barely able to breathe.

Later that night, while meditating, Tang Yin used his telepathy to peer into Yu Xiaogang's mind. So much knowledge about soul beasts… all of it from Spirit Hall.

With precision, he copied the Grandmaster's experience, subtly tweaking, deleting, and modifying information—and even nudging his cognitive patterns.

My, my... Yu Xiaogang. Not even a kiss from either woman in your life? Just hand-holding… and then jerking off alone at home? No wonder your self-esteem is shot.

Satisfied with his mischief, Tang Yin dozed off.

The Next Morning

Yu Xiaogang awoke groggily, still sore. After Tang Yin explained what had happened, he was deeply moved by Tang San's loyalty.

"Master," Tang San said, face full of regret, "I didn't suck hard enough. You… you might be impotent now."

"Huff…" Yu Xiaogang shook his head weakly. "It's our fortune that snake didn't chase us. Don't worry about me, Tang San. Besides… that snake would've made an excellent soul ring for you."

After a brief rest, the group resumed their journey. Yu Xiaogang was visibly shaken but pressed on.

Suddenly, Tang Yin's eyes flicked. A soul beast slithered from the undergrowth.

"Stop!" Yu Xiaogang shouted. Tang San and Tang Yin froze.

The creature oozed forward—slimy and glistening.

Yu Xiaogang recoiled in horror. "That slippery body, that sticky slime… no doubt, it's a Mucus-Spitting Slug!"

At that moment, Tang Yin subtly gave him a mental nudge.

Yu Xiaogang's disgust morphed into glee. "Xiao San! This is perfect! A hundred-year-old Mucus-Spitting Slug! A flawless choice for your first soul ring!"

He quickly handed both boys a mask and jumped into action.

"Fart like thunder, shake the heavens—Luo Sanpao, FART!!"

The purple pig-dog spun, raised its rump, and let out a massive, trembling fart aimed at the slug.

Tang Yin stared, expressionless. Remembering some of his dark history. Clearing his throat "uhm..Let's not talk about this, ever again."

The slug, stunned by the blast, wobbled in place. After the first thunder fart, the mucus spiting slug was paralyzed for a while and grandmaster backhanded style fighting came to play immediately neutralizing the slug. Yu xiogang handed a dagger to tang san

"Go on. Finish it."

Tang San stepped forward and delivered the final blow, dagger now coated in slime. A pale yellow soul ring appeared above the corpse.

Yu Xiaogang immediately began guiding Tang San through the absorption process. Meanwhile, Tang Yin approached, eyes gleaming with curiosity.

Let's see if I can siphon energy from soul ring too…

Tang hao had a glommy temperament as he watched tang san preparing to absorb the disgusting slugs soul ring, his fist was bulging when watching yu xiaogang eloquently teaching his son. But he had promised that he didn't care whatever soul ring tang san absorbed for the blue silver grass so, he still held back didn't pay attention to the trio vigilantly guarding the area

At the same time Tang yin subtly used telepathy to check on tang hao, While Tang Hao brooded nearby, fists clenched at the sight of Yu Xiaogang instructing his son, Tang Yin made his move. He touched the soul ring—and watched as the yellow hue drained from it, a smile forming.

Immediately the yellow tint on the white soul ring disappeared & tang yin instantly bloomed with a hearty smile.

Success.

Tang San absorbed the soul ring in record time—but his joy quickly faded. The smile on his face turned into a grimace.
