Thomas was dropped off at the Train station by one of the Orphenes workers. "Good Luck kid".
Thomas looked at his Items, a whole lot of them, and just like all Hogwarts students, he gets to bring one, but instead of Picking an Own from Diagon Alley, he chose a Snake.
Thomas looked at the caretaker as he spoke. "Yeah, I am sure I will tell the others I will miss them".
The Care Takee smiled as he spoke. "I will Kid, good Luck".
Thomas grabbed his strings, and he started to push his Luggage Carrier. As he arrived from where he was sure that 9¾ was, he arrived at the place of the Brick wall.
Thomas just looked at the wall as he spoke in his head. "You know, I do wonder how Rumours didn't start Because of how many people go through this same Wall Every year".
Thomas took a breath and glanced around. No one seemed to be watching too closely.
"Well, here goes nothing."
He walked briskly toward the barrier, and in the blink of an eye, he was through. The sight before him made even someone like him pause.
The Hogwarts Express stood proudly, steam billowing from its engine, scarlet and sleek, stretching far into the station. Students bustled about—laughing, shouting, saying goodbye to their families. Owls hooted, cats meowed, and somewhere someone was already struggling to lift a heavy trunk.
Thomas took it all in, then muttered, "So... it begins."
He boarded the train, carefully storing his luggage, with his snake curled inside a magically reinforced carrier. As he moved to find a seat, the familiar chattering of first-years filled the corridor. He found an empty compartment, slid the door open, and sat down by the window.
Moments later, the door slid open again.
"Mind if I join you?" came a soft but confident voice.
It was a girl with bright green eyes and red hair. Thomas blinked.
"Sure," he said, smirking slightly. "Let me guess. Lily Evans?"
She raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. Do I know you?"
Thomas chuckled. "Nope. Just a lucky guess."
Lily looked at him as she spoke. "Will that be an accurate guess? Can my friend join as well".
Thomas looked at her as he spoke. "If I allowed you to, join, why would I say no to your friend?".
Lily smiled at that. "Good point." She turned and waved someone over.
A moment later, a boy with pale skin, dark hair that hung slightly over his eyes, and a wary expression stepped into the compartment. Thomas immediately recognized him—Severus Snape, though still just a boy, not yet the bitter man from the books.
Lily sat down across from Thomas, and Snape followed suit, taking the spot beside her. He gave Thomas a cautious glance.
"This is Severus," Lily said. "And you are?"
"Thomas," he replied simply. "Thomas Lazarus."
Snape gave a curt nod. "Nice to meet you."
Thomas leaned back, watching the two of them interact. For a moment, he simply observed—this was the beginning of everything, after all. A pivotal moment in wizarding history… and here he was, right in the middle of it.
"So," Thomas said, breaking the silence, "excited for Hogwarts?"
Lily lit up. "Absolutely! I've read all about it. What about you?"
Thomas smirked. "I'd say I've been preparing for this my whole life."
Snape raised an eyebrow. "You're not from a wizarding family, are you?"
"Nope. Grew up in an orphanage," Thomas said, meeting his eyes. "But I like to think I've done my homework."
Lily seemed intrigued. "You don't talk like most of the others we've met."
Thomas just gave a sly grin. "I'm not like most of the others."
Lily looked at Thomas as she spoke. "You know, if you didn't say your full name, Lazarus, we fight through your a Weasley"
Thomas looked as he spoke. "Rich coming from another ready head".
Snape laughed a bit as he spoke. "Oh yes, indeed, she gets that a lot, we made a fun game out of it".
Thomas raised an eyebrow as he spoke. "What, every time someone thinks Lily is a Weasley they need to pay you guys".
Lily chuckled. "Not quite, but that is a good idea. No, we just keep count. So far this summer? Seven times."
Thomas smirked. "Make it eight, then."
Snape leaned back with a rare amused expression. "It does get a bit annoying after a while, but it's also… oddly funny."
Thomas gave a mock nod of deep thought. "Well, as someone with red hair too, maybe we can form a club. 'Not-Weasleys Anonymous'."
Lily burst out laughing. "I'd be president."
Thomas pointed at her. "And I'll be the treasurer. We'll fund ourselves every time someone makes a mistake."
Snape gave an exaggerated sigh. "Brilliant. And here I thought we were going to Hogwarts to learn magic. Turns out it's economics."
Lily leaned forward with a teasing grin. "Well, we can always enchant the coins to scream 'Not a Weasley!' every time we get one."
Thomas gave a sly smirk. "Now that's magic."
"quite a Lovely Bunch, mind if we Join"
Thomas spoke in his head. "And just like in Canon, it looks like Unless I fuck with Future fully something will happen as Canon".
Walking into the room, was a boy the same age as then, with black eyes and fair skin, wearing a black shirt and grey long pants
Thomas spoke his mind. "Hello Young Sirius, now where is Potter".
As they walked James, James looked at the group and went and sat next to Thomas, as their eyes met.
James looked at him as he spoke. "So we meet again"
Thomas looked at them as he spoke. "Pleasure to meet you As well Potter". He said just like how a Future Draco would.
After that, the Train Ride was not much eventful,
After a while, they started to talk about what House they would go to, as Thomas stayed quiet.
"You'd better be in Slytherin," said Snape, encouraged that she had brightened a little.
"Slytherin?" James said with almost venom in his voice. "
I think I'd leave, wouldn't you? Said Sirius
"My whole family have been in Slytherin," he said.
"Blimey," said James, "and I thought you seemed all right!"
Sirius grinned.
"Maybe I'll break the tradition. Where are you heading, if you've got the choice?"
James lifted an invisible sword.
"'Gryffindor, where dwell the brave at heart! Like, my dad."
Thomas looked at James as he spoke. "You know Gryffindor is meant to protect and Not bad mouth other people even if their choices are different; sounds to me like you fit that of Snakes than the Lion's".
The compartment went still for a moment, tension crackling in the air. Sirius looked between James and Thomas with mild surprise, and Lily raised an eyebrow, impressed. Even Snape looked satisfied.
James blinked, thrown off for just a second, before leaning back with a cocky smirk. "Or maybe I just don't like bullies."
Thomas met his eyes calmly. "Funny, neither do I. So let's not start pretending we're better than anyone else before the Sorting Hat even does its job."
Sirius gave a low whistle. "Well, this got interesting fast."
Lily glanced at Thomas with a bit more respect. "Nice to know not everyone's jumping to conclusions."
Snape muttered, "He seems to Jump."
James narrowed his eyes slightly but said nothing, though you could tell he filed the moment away. Thomas could feel it — this rivalry was inevitable.
Thomas leaned back, arms crossed, and let the silence settle.
In his head, he thought: I may not stop everything, but I'll be damned if I let things play out the same way.
After a while, Sirius was looking at Thomas. "So, I have been meaning to ask, what is behind your back".
Thomas looked on his back, as strapped to him was his sword. "My sword".
Lily's eyes lit up. "You Practice With Sword".
Thomas looked at me as he spoke. "Yes, pretty good at as well".
Sirius looked as he spoke. "Can I see it".
Thomas shrugged as he unsheathed the Crimson Blade, holding it upside-down for everyone to get a good look at it
The moment the sword was unsheathed, the air in the compartment shifted — just slightly, but noticeably. There was a subtle hum of magic, a gentle pressure that pulsed from the blade. The crimson metal gleamed unnaturally, its dragon-like engravings catching the light in a way that made it look alive.
Sirius leaned in, eyes wide. "Bloody hell… That's not just for show."
James, despite himself, looked impressed. "Where'd you get something like that?"
Thomas gave a half-smile. "Custom-forged. Dragon bone, phoenix feather, and unicorn core. Made to last and grow with its user."
Lily looked amazed. "It's beautiful. And… magical too?"
Thomas nodded. "Very. Let's just say, a wand isn't my only way of casting spells."
Snape's eyes narrowed with interest, his mind clearly already racing through the implications.
Sirius looked at Thomas again, more curious now than ever. "You're definitely not like most first-years."
Thomas chuckled as he sheathed the blade again. "That's the idea."
James crossed his arms but didn't say anything. This time, the rivalry wasn't just about attitude — now, there was a sense of challenge.
Thomas leaned back in his seat, eyes closed, feeling the weight of the sword on his back and the future on his shoulders. One step at a time. First, Hogwarts. Then, the rest of the timeline.
Would you like the Sorting Ceremony to begin next?
After that was done, they made their way to Hogwarts, they all stepped off the Platform, and Thomas looked up to see the school.
"Hopefully, unlike Harry, I don't have a final Boss every year". He said in his mind.
As Thomas stepped onto the cobblestone path with the others, the looming silhouette of Hogwarts Castle rose above the mist like a fortress of destiny.
The cool night air carried the scent of the lake and old stone as lanterns flickered to life, guiding the way forward. The first-years were herded into a group by a large figure — unmistakably Hagrid, though far younger and with fewer grey hairs.
"Firs'-years! Over 'ere!" the half-giant called out, waving them forward.
Thomas stared up at the castle's towering spires and muttered in his mind, "No cursed diary, no three-headed dogs, no dark lord on the back of someone's head… Just one peaceful year. Please."
Sirius nudged him. "You look like you're staring at a monster."
Thomas gave him a side glance. "I'm trying to see if it's breathing."
Sirius laughed, but Lily and Snape just exchanged a confused look.
Then came the boats, gliding over the black waters of the Great Lake. Hogwarts stood tall and timeless, glowing with golden light from within. To Thomas, it was both a symbol of opportunity—and a battlefield waiting to be rewritten.
This was it. Year One. Time to change everything.
The Great Hall doors swung open, and the first-years filed in behind Professor McGonagall. The enchanted ceiling sparkled with stars, casting a soft glow over the long tables and the sea of older students in black robes.
But as Thomas stepped in—his crimson-and-black uniform lined with silver thread, the subtle sigils glowing faintly in the candlelight—the hall fell into a curious hush.
Heads turned. Whispers echoed.
"Who is that?"
"Same robes as Malfoy—are they in some kind of club?"
"Looks like some sort of—duelist?"
Thomas walked with an easy, confident stride. He caught sight of Lucius at the Slytherin table, who flashed him a subtle thumbs-up, lips curled in a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. There was something unnerving about the gesture coming from a future Death Eater… and yet, Thomas noted the difference: Lucius was trying.
Thomas thought to himself, "If I can reroute even one Malfoy this early… I'm already ahead."
He walked past, eyes forward, posture straight, and joined Lily and Snape at the front of the Great Hall.
Lily whispered, half-amused, half-impressed, "So you started a fashion trend already?"
Thomas smirked. "Just wait until I introduce magical sneakers."
Snape blinked. "What's a sneaker?"
Thomas leaned back, grinning. "Oh, you're going to love the future."
And with that, the Sorting Hat began to sing.
One by one, all the Students started to be Sorted by the Sorting Hat as Canon Characters like Snape, James, Lily, and Sirius got their Canon House, Thomas took a step, sat on the chair, and spoke in his head.
"Gryffindor Here I come".
The Sorting hat, closed its eyes as he spoke. "An intelligence one, one with lot of Knowledge and Curiosity for the world, adventure's and likes sword, I see, RAVENCLAW!".
There was a moment of stunned silence from the Great Hall—Thomas himself blinked in disbelief.
"Wait—Ravenclaw?" he thought, frozen in place for a second.
Applause erupted from the Ravenclaw table as they welcomed their newest and flashiest member. Thomas stood up slowly, collecting himself with a half-forced grin. He made his way to the table, cloak swishing behind him, sword lightly tapping against his back.
Lily and Snape exchanged glances.
"I thought he was set on Gryffindor," Lily whispered.
"Well," Snape murmured, "clearly, the hat thought otherwise."
Thomas sat down among the Ravenclaws, who were giving him curious and impressed looks—especially over the sword and robes.
He sighed internally. "I wanted to be a lion… but I guess the eagle's mind saw the sword's discipline as intellect."
He looked back toward the Gryffindor table—James gave him a raised eyebrow and a shrug, Sirius just smirked.
Thomas muttered under his breath, "Plan B it is…"
From the Slytherin table, Lucius looked at as he spoke in his mind. "Just like I thought, as he said in Diagon Alley, he said we only wanted to Go to Gryffindor because they have swords, that reason was sallow, I got picked on his books, Magic History, Ruin Magic, Magic Theory, and even some does Mugel Science books, he didn't rely on that moment".
Lucius sat calmly, hands folded under his chin, watching Thomas with a calculating gaze. "He wanted Gryffindor for the flash, for the image. But the Hat saw what I saw—a planner, a thinker, someone who looks ahead. A Ravenclaw, through and through."
His eyes narrowed slightly as he recalled Thomas at Madam Malkin's, sketching his own uniform while casually speaking of swords and magic. "That wasn't arrogance… it was confidence built on something deeper. Preparation."
He leaned back and gave a small nod to himself.
"Interesting. He might be worth keeping an eye on—not as a rival, but as something more valuable. A variable."
From across the room, Thomas caught Lucius's look and gave a knowing nod—not a smile, not a greeting, just quiet acknowledgment.
Two players on a board too big for anyone else to see… yet.
