Rebecca left the mansion all furious, but I careless, as I carried my kids to their room, after chatting for as long as we could, they felt asleep in my arms, only God knows how much I love and cherish them.
"Hazel, you need to rest, he walks in slowly closing the door behind him, I don't even know for how long I've been avoiding this conversation with him.
" I'll sleep in the kids room tonight, I said not sparing him a glance, I was furious and hated myself so much for falling for a killer like him.

We hug each other again,this time aunty Lizzy walked in hugging us from behind.
" What happened to Dad, I rush to his bed side taking his hands in mine as I sob lightly.
Seeing him in this state is so heart chattering.
" Dad please wakeup, am here now, please Daddy wake up.
I squeeze a little harder but still got no reaction,
" Mom what's wrong with him. I Turn facing her as she gives me a weak smile.
" Carden brought in the best Doctors in the world, but.....
She sobs
" But what..... My heart races almost jumping out of my chest.
" They said his gone Hazel, only the machines are keeping him alive, and.... They said we should consider taking them off.
" No.... My world crumbled, this was the last thing I needed right now, my Dad will be fine.
" Dad please wake up, you can't do this to me, Daddy please. I clutch onto him, praying and hoping he would just open his eyes and smile, I just want him to hug me and call me his little Haz, he can't be death.
I hold in tighter as mom struggles to pull me away,
" We wanted you to see him for the last time before taking off the machines. He deserves to rest. I couldn't stop crying as I watch my Dad breath his last.

From the side eye I could see his tears drop, " I want him back, was the last thing I said before passing out in his arms. Carden felt horrible for not being able to give me the only thing I've ever asked him in years.
" A few weeks had passed, Sky and her baby were finally discharged from the hospital, Dad's body was buried, and everything was slowly returning to normal for everyone except me, Emily and aunty Lizzy flew out of the country to get away from everything, while mom was helping me take care of the kids, Carden on the other hand has been the shoulder I needed each time I felt like crying, he's been very supportive and caring that I almost forgot who he really is.
