I run back to door, but it was locked,
"Is anyone out there please get me out of here'' I shout 3 to 4 times, but no one comes. I sit near the door hoping someone will let me out. But an hour had been passed no one came; I search for weapon to break the door. I grab one of the rods and gave big hit to the window. Ray of light entered through the broken window it was already dawn. Today I realized that when you are in a problem no prince charming will come to help you, you need to be Mulan to save yourself.
Even after reaching I home my mind wandered through the darkness of the storeroom. It might because of New, exactly it was his doing. He wanted to revenge on me that's all better to avoid him. I get call from hospital where mom was admitted,
"Hello, is this daughter of EMILY RODRIGUEZ?'
"Yes, is anything serious"
"don't be worried, your mother is doing fine so far. You can come to see her because she can talk now''
"Okay, thank you" I can't control my happiness. I ran to my dad; he was sitting on the hall checking on his work files.
"Dad! Mom can speak now"
"Okay, go back to your room" he has been always like this since mom got diagnosed with cancer. Before that too he never talked to me normally, still he is my dad.
Next day, I took leave from my school visited my mom's hospital. I entered her room, she was sleeping. After some time, she woke up, she was very happy to see me. We talked to even though not much but soon she fell asleep. I was ready to leave; I kissed her forehead then I came out of the room. I see New and might be his parents, coming in same direction of me after what he did to me, I don't want to see his face. I walk past to him like I never known him.
When I entered class on next day, someone splashed me a bucket oof water. I was fully wet from head to toe; all were laughing at me. I silently moved towards washroom I took a bucket of water from there and cleaned myself by pouring it to myself. I took a jacket out of my bag which was luckily not wet I wore that and headed towards home. There was no point in staying, when I came out of bathroom New was waiting outside. He grabbed my hands; I pulled by hands backward and slapped his face.
"isn't this enough? Am done with. Don't worry am leaving this school" I walked away from him but he pulled me against himself. I don't cry because these things are nothing for what I have suffered in my life.
He is taking me somewhere; we entered our class he is holding my hands tightly
"From now on she is my girl, if anyone dares to hurt am not going to spare you guys" what nonsense he is talking about. He pulled me back outside the class.
"You got it what I said, now you cannot leave this school"
"Am not your servant to agree what you say"
"You are mine"
"nonsense" he pulled me closer and kissed my lips. This is second time am kissing him; I pulled back pushing him away I returned to class.
This is no good I have always lost the person I loved; I don't want much more pain in my life.
After that I started to avoid him, I head towards library with Katie who understands me more than anyone.
"Hey, you think you can ignore me but am not going to force you. But am not going to share you with anyone too!" New whispered near my ear while passing.
Before I could speak, he left what does he think of himself. We sat in library gossiping about dress, ornaments etc. I see Den passing by
"Hey Den, it's been long"
"Hey Mia, its good to see you" he sat beside me, we three were talking happily.
When we were returning back New pulled me to the corner,
"What do you think? You can make me jealous"
"Huh? If you don't get jealous its good for us keep up, you will surely get over from me" I moved back to join my friends.
Next day when I entered the class, someone had kept a bouquet in my place.
"Hey Mia, how romantic New have gifted you flower bouquet" Katie started to tease me, I look back where New was sitting in last bench with his friends staring at me.
When I got near to the flower I started to sneeze, I lifted the bouquet threw that into dustbin. My skin started to itchy due to pollens, I started to sit down on my bench
"Mia, are you allergic to flower look your skin is already red" Katie started to shout
"Keep your voice down, Katie" New got up from his seat and rushed towards me,
"Come on let's go to nurse room" he pulled me towards medical room.
"No need to worry that much''
"Why did you say you are allergic to flowers?"
"How would I know? You are going to get me flowers"
We got to medical room where she provided ointment for me,
"Give it to me, I will apply on your hands" he stared apply ointment on hands,
"You know, why I rejected you. Because I didn't want to lose you" tears started to roll down from my cheeks after a long time am crying.
