Running around the training ground, a boy could be seen breathing heavily as he was close to finishing his last lap.
Its been a day since noctis had woke up from his two days rest, he got fired up to train.
Lira stood at the entrance of the training area, ready to assist her young master if he needed anything, she had bought some books along with her.
'Why did I even think this was gonna be easy, I really don't want to do this running and exercise!',
Noctis ran or jogged struggling to lift his legs, this was his 5th lap around the training room which was around fifty square meters, the fire already extinguished from yesterday.
He was sweating heavily, like he was on long marathon of some 20 miles or more, whereas he haven't even ran 1 mile yet and he was already died tired.
'I feel like my lungs are about burst, fuck this shit' immediately he plopped down to the ground and turned around laying on his back.
His chest rising and falling like a tide trying to take as much as oxygen possible, he could feel his whole body aching and sore, he heard the sound of footsteps as he just glanced to see lira standing besides him giving him a water bottle.
Feeling his mouth dry, he pushed himself of the ground and took the water and immediately drank it, feeling his hot body cooling down.
After he drank of its contents, he continued to breathe heavily for while before it return to normal breathing, looking over at lira he asked as he groaned, "lira, heal me, I can't move legs anymore"
Lira chuckled at her young master's request, then she reminded him as she shook her head sideways, "its not good to relay on magic to heal yourself for such reasons, you have let the body regenerate on its own. If I use my magic to heal you now, then the effort you put for past half an hour would go to waste young master. "
Noctis looked at her confused, "huh, how would that go to waste?, also I am just trying to restore my stamina so what's the problem in that?"
"That's exactly the problem. After intense exercise of any kind, the body's muscles become strained, developing micro tears. During rest, the body's metabolism works to fuse these muscle fibers while making them stronger and more resilient. This process depends on the body's natural recovery and no amount of external healing can replace that."
As lira continued to lecture, noctis listened in even though he knew a little about this while he thought, 'should have expected it, I thought if it was a fantasy, healing magic spell would speed up the training of a physical body'.
He sighed in the middle of her lecture before he shook his head and tried to focus but he was already starting to dozing off.
"Our body would adapt to these changes each time, this will not only increase our stamina recovery it would also speed up our natural regeneration of our body if we are injured."
Noticing noctis's tired look, lira shook her head 'he will learn it the hard way later'.
Noctis stood up after the lira's quick talk, he stretched his body a bit- hearing those cracking sounds of air bubbles popping in his joints made him feel good.
'Lets worry about body training for later, now time to cramp up on magic theory.',he walked towards the books he had lira brought along to read right here, already forgetting about his talk about hitting the gym on his first day of arriving to this world.
Lira followed behind him as she sighed already guessing his thoughts.

Following the sounds of loud noises of huge monster escaping through the dense forests, a woman was sprinting behind it, quickly catching up to as she sheathed her great sword from her back.
As if sensing its doom, the monster rushed forward its instincts screaming. A cold dread crept over it, the kind only felt in the face of death.
At the last second, it dodged violently to the side, crashing through tree after tree as its massive frame tearing through the forest. Just as its body came to a halt, a brilliant light-infused slash tore through the air, a lethal arc slash by a blonde woman, scorching through the space where the monster had stood mere moments before.
Glancing at the woman, who he thought was just a prey few minutes ago he cursed himself, trying to stand up on his two huge legs as he roared to towards the wild women.
Turning around his head to other side, he began his run- the next second he saw his vision was slowing but steadily titling to the side as his head fell to side with a thud.
Realizing what happened his eyes widened, his vision darkening and the last thing he saw was his body falling in front of him causing the ground to shake.
"Quite the escapist this guy was, couldn't have guessed looking at his huge body", the blonde woman walked towards the corpse of the monster she had just killed, flicking her sword once as the green blood wore of its blue blade.
Her soft voice sounded in the dense forest as if it resonating with the light elements present in the air.
"Well anyways, this should be the last one and I should be able to leave this goddamn nowhere of place!", her brows frowned as her light golden eyes radiant as the light itself, squinting her eyes she glared at the last target of hers.
The monster was an peak Anomaly-rank mana infected monster, it had a huge body standing tall of 6 meters, only two limbs of the monster- rear ones was used to balance itself and its front were two small sharp claws.
The monster's head had a striking resemblance with a lizard, and behind it swayed a massive tail with the tip, having a small spike ball attached.
Glancing at its rear limbs, the blonde woman pondered over the information she got from the the adventure guild. 'The mana seems to have mutated the limbs to strengthen to its limits and those claws were really sharp, bet it could penetrate a primal rank's defense.'
She swiped her left hand as the ring on her middle finger flashed as the corpse disappeared.
Sheathing the great sword on her back, she looked around while also using her mana sense to search for any irregularities.
Having not sensed anything, her mana flowed out of her and formed a pair of wings behind her back, raising from the ground she looked at a certain distance before leaning forward, she shot straight ahead at rapid speed.
The world blurred, increasing her speed once again she flared her mana fueling the wings with more mana.
'Finally why did this monsters have to cause trouble just when I want to go on vacation or need to be somewhere else', letting out exaggerated sigh, her emotions flaring as she angrily cursed both the monsters and the adventure's guild master.
'After this request and taking care of some matters back at the steamers gang, I should be able to visit little nox two days later', an image of a little boy came to her mind as she smiled.
'Its been nearly a three years since I last saw the nightryn family of four and now its down to one', her face saddened as she had received the news of the family through the course of two years.
She had only talked to them on a video call and hadn't visited them due to her own problems with a cult chasing after her or the other way for past five years, only recently half a year ago- she had managed to wipe them out entirely from the face of this continent.
And later on when she wanted to visit them, the adventure's guild master had pulled in on her with one of his favours from her early adventuring days.
She hand called her best friend Grace several times, and grace reassured her that they were fine and she doesn't need to worry many times and to take her time to visit them later.
'I regret not going back earlier, I really regret not being there for her, nox, lily', Her eyes welled up at the mere thought.
'And Grace... why did you leave little Nox?',she thought bitterly.
'Couldn't you have sent even one message- just one to say where you were, what you were doing? Don't you trust me at all?" The next second, anger surged through her.
Her emotions were spiraling, crashing from one extreme to the next like a runaway train.
In the distance, she could see a small village settled here with few short buildings along with some common houses and a large building at the east of little village.
She slowed down her flight speed as she neared the village, and descending right before the guards at the entrance of the village.
The guards nodded towards her as they recognized her and didn't make the mistake of being arrogant on random people, they had already learnt that lesson the hard way, few months ago.
She walked through the entrance along the way looking around the little village for the last time, as she would leaving later this day.
