"Cent please am begging you please I need some money for our daughters medications she's been down with fever since last night" Maria Moore pleaded with Cent Clark for the hundredth time for money but he refused giving her.
"Take that thing you call a child out of my sight and don't you come after me" he warned.
It's been six months now Maria had been leaving like a slave except for when she goes to the studio to wask her albums or for an event, one might think she's truly blessed with a devoted husband but who will believe that she has handmade her little girl's clothes from her own as her dear trophy husband has refused to grant her assess to her money.
"She's your child Cent Clark! How can you do this to your own flesh and blood?_ I've lost one and I don't plan on Lossing the other, give me my money Cent Clark!" She bellowed in frustration
"And if I don't?" Cent Clark questioned
"I'll fill for a divorce" Maria said but that only made to the insane man chuckle
"You are delusional_ to think that I've been married to you" Cent Clark said and Maria couldn't believe it.
"What do you mean, we both signed the marriage certificate" Maria Moore said, but Cent only looked at her like a fool. " Do you think that those are marriage certificate? I divorced you the very day you thought we signed the marriage certificate_ it's none other than an annuled certificate" Cent Clark told her but she was in for more surprise. "Not only was an annuled certificate but you were too excited to be married that you didn't read through the contract, that you Maria Moore has willed all of your assets and money to me" said Cent Clark as he took one more glance at her before stepping outside. That night he did not return, Maria Moore had to take her child to the hospital for treatment and pleaded with the doctors.
Main while, the young master Edward James who was visiting his grandparents received a call that made him rush back to the city. Upon arrival he called the hospital in which Maria Moore took her child.
"No harm should come to that child, henceforth you'll be giving them both free treatment" he paused " find a way not to reveal my identity" he said and hung up. The doctor immediately took the little baby to a VIP ward to which surprised Maria Moore
"Doctor am sorry I can't afford this section, let's_"
"Ma'am am sorry I didn't get your names earlier, it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am, my wife is a fan of yours_ don't worry about the bills it's been covered by the hospital foundation scheme" the doctor told her, to which she was so thankful.
"Why didn't you say you were returning back for an important matter, that you had to scare your grandma and I the way you did" old master James told his grandson over the phone.
"Am sorry grandpa I'll make it up to you" he said and after some pleasantries he hung up.
